  1. As long as the city was dense and detailed, i wouldn't mind it be that size (maybe not the post above, but the green version), just as long as there's more to explore in the surrounding landscape.
  2. This was intended, there's a running gag throughout Back to Earth about series 9 being the best series - of course it doesn't exist, some people like me would know that, but others would think "wait, what? Series 9? *googles*" As for my favourite series, hell I like them all. Obviously if you compare the series side by side there are major differences; series 1-2 were very restrained and focused more on the interaction between the three creating the humour, series 3-6 are what we now class as the "cult" Dwarf series' and developed more of a self-contained episode feel, each week something completely unrelated to the last episode was happening. Series 7 was more of a comedy drama and series 8 tried to go back to the old days. Which it achieved to an extent. Yeah, series 8 was pretty successful in returning the old humour whilst still keeping the newer season's presence. With them being a fair bit older by series 8, I think we can see this similar comedy returning in the upcoming series, especially the opening scene to Back in Red - 1. For those of you who haven't seen Red Dwarf (S08): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ul1xb27WnI
  3. So then, the much belated series ten is finally being released on Dave on the 4th of October 2012. I've always been a big fan on Red Dwarf, and i'm guessing Viceman is too. The big question is, will Red Dwarf X live up to expectations? With the recent (one-off) Back to Earth episodes we had a couple of years ago, everyone was left disappointed with the quality of the Red Dwarf script, and it also left paradoxical questions as to whether or not it was meant to be set after series 9. Back to the new series then. Will we expect a narrative arch, which will continue on from series 9, after Rimmer (nano-reconstructed version) was left in a mirror universe? what can we expect from the new series? New trailers: For the fans: What's your favourite series and why? What's your favourite episode and why?
  4. I'm not too sure man, I've only ever played it on PC. I have a similar issue though when I'm logged in on another PC, it wont let me play multiplayer if I'm logged in more than once basically... I dunno if that's any help to you though.
  5. Sunspear is beautiful. It's amazing how much detail and scale they've manage to pack into a cube based environment really... I might try and apply to become a builder in this world, I think I'll enjoy some crafting with a decent theme in mind.
  6. Dexter is back out end of this month.

The desktop format is ugly. It's simple, but not nice to look at imo. The only thing the iphone5 has that makes it appealing is 4g internet. Apps are app, they're never really that useful to have, people just collect them for the sake of it. Some are useful to some extent, but nothing you couldn't live without before you had an iphone. This app frenzy is just an addiction. To be honest, it's not just the iphone, i actually dislike the entire smartphone genre. They're all designed to take maximum profit from every person that owns them, and they don't really benefit you guys in any way. The only tablet PC i'm interested in is the windows one, because you can switch to traditional mode, and still use Windows 'programs and applications'. Which for me is perfect. Anyway, that's my view on smartphones. Continue.
  8. You guys will love it. once this is map/mod is finished i think i'll clock more hours n this than i did on Skyrim for sure. If you guys do go and have a look, be sure to warp to Dragonstone, it's just amazing.

Am i the only one here who doesn't like iphones? The interface is terrible, and the content isn't worth £600 or contract equivalent... Especially when you have to pay for any of the decent apps anyway. I'd much rather buy a tablet PC for that price. Like Marney, i don't really use my phone for much else. I do occasionally use the internet on my phone when i'm out, but not that much... i'll just do that when i get home from work or wherever I've been. But again, if i knew i was traveling somewhere, i'd bring a Vita or a tablet for games, and apps etc. Was just voicing my opinion btw.
  10. I've never touched WoW, all my friend's (that have played it) have warned me away from it, just because of the amount of grind required. I never have enough time to grind a game to this extent. My life's daily grind comes first. Just out of curiosity though, what's more important in WoW, damage per second or resistance? I haven't played, but if it's anything like Blizzard's Diablo 3, then resistance is probably more favorable, and dps should come second.
  11. If the game was out this October we'd have so much more information about the game, and one of those key bits of info would be a solid release date... March is still an early date to me, i still think it's going to be released later than everyone thinks [May-July 2013]. But i do hope the game is ready by March.
  12. I've just found the most amazing server that I've ever seen on Minecraft. A very large creative collective have made a world called WesterosCraft - A Game of Blocks. If you're a fan then you'll already know this is a Game of Thrones themed server. But the amazing thing about it is not the theme, but they've actually captured the entire province of Westeros in one server, and we're talking pretty much real world scale! This is the continent of Westeros from Game of Thrones: This is what their overall map looks like: http://mc.westeroscraft.com:8123/ And here are some beautiful images of some of the locations: Link: http://mc.westeroscraft.com/press.html I'm completely gobsmacked with the sheer size of this dedicated server. I've spent hours just roaming it looking at all the creations. I really can't wait until it's finished, so i can finally play some survival mode on it. I think i'll live in this server. Server IP: mc.westeroscraft.com
  13. Fans of Game Of Thrones read this post, i jizzed when i found this: http://www.igta5.com...dpost__p__64867 Dio, get minecraft if you haven't got it!
  14. That's the same guy who did the mount chiliad one right? This one looks great. The sound effects and audio is terrible, but the visuals are great.
  15. I don't mind frame rate drops unless they become ridiculously low. From what i saw in that trailer, hey weren't too bad. Also, that stutter could have been the video compression rather than the actual footage.
  16. Share any mods you make with us Vicey. I think i'll be modding this on PC very soon. I'm thinking about making my own house somewhere in Skyrim, i'm still looking for that perfect location though.
  17. I think that's a viable opinion. Tarantino films are certainly a great source of influence for the GTA world, and by creating chapter switches between different characters just makes the whole cinematic experience even more like film...
  18. Not Brock's dub, but still funny dubs:
  19. Sounds cool. I don't really know much about Pittsburgh, so it will be interesting to see how it all looks and feels through-out the game.
  20. I randomly found this picture online of a place called Los Cantos. I've never heard of it before, but i assume it's in Spain or somewhere in Mexico/South America. Link Doesn't really have anything to do with GTA V accept the fact the name is similar to Santos.
  21. Rockstar Games are brilliant story tellers. Naughty Dog are brilliant action and set designers.
