  1. Mafia 2 was brilliant in terms of story. I whored that in two nights. The game its self was way too short lived, but I enjoyed what I played of it. I platinum'd it in 4 days. I kinda feel like playing that again now.
  2. I also picked up eyepet for my Son for only £2.98, but it's shit, and he even hated it lol, he kept hitting it with his toy lightsaber. He put Lego Starwars straight back into the PS3. Not much loss, so i don't mind.
  3. About 15 years back we had Electronic Boutique's scattered across England, and i think GAME bought them out, now the tables have turned and Gamespot is gonna make a return in our country. I went up city today and looked in both Gamestation, and Game, and to be honest, like Marney i didn't find many decent sale items left. I did pick up Deus Ex for just under £8, which I think was an okay deal, but the majority of pre-owned games are crap. I thought they were doing discounts on new games too, obviously not. I'm still gonna carry on buying games from Asda though, i always get new games for around £30 on release.
  4. I'm gonna venture out to city today. There is two Game's and a Gamestation there, so I may as well go see what i can pick up cheap.
  5. Been playing this again quite intensely the last few days, really getting back into it. This game is truly one of the most immersive games I've ever played.
  6. I normally get my games from supermarkets or online these days. They're usually always a good £10 cheaper than game/gamestation. If they do however go into administration, and have a huge sale, I may think about popping my head in and see if I can pick up any bargains. Sale Items: http://www.game.co.u...rs-_-mint-_-PS3 I'd say Brink for £3, Dead space 2 for £5, Deus Ex for £8, and Rage for £8 all great sale items.
  7. Thanks. I'm already aware of it, and will be watching it. the only reason i don't wanna be an indie developer is because i can't afford to risk working on something that may or may not pay off. I love games to hell, but money is what keeps us alive.

This looks pretty cool (if you're into sort that of thing). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4hxc9yU-teI
  10. The scale of those "bones" is pretty hard to judge. I know for sure that's not a human ribcage, if in fact it's even a skeleton. As Mas mentioned, they're too spaced apart. A dog's ribcage is more likely, but as Mas also mentioned, they're too fucking white. Unless it's part of an anatomy dog skeleton or something. British Pie Week? Is it? Hmm steak & ale pie is my favourite. My girl's mum sometimes makes me one with real Guinness. Mmm yeah, my favourite pie too!
  11. British Pie Week That pie looks pretty messy, you must of made it right? My pies look similar inside. I was thinking of making a nice steak and ale pie, but gave up just at the thought. I might do one, but not now.
  12. Number of prostitutes killed after using them. Amount of cash retrieved from prostitutes bodies. Amount of time spent in brothels. Number of pussy's jacked without approval. You get the full picture...
  13. I've always been interested in astronomy and the stars at night. I wanted the do some astrophotography at one point, but never really wanted to spend insane amounts of money on a decent DSLR camera and a good quality telescope etc. I guess these day's it'd probably be much cheaper to do. I've done a couple of time-laps photo-animations of the stars before. They didn't turn out too well, and i got extremely cold doing it. It was kinda fun though. QD didn't you do a time-lap video outside your house before? You should try that pointed at the sky instead!
  14. I like the idea of it being a design metaphor for the story centring around her. I still don't like the balance of the cover art though. I guess that's all I have to say on the matter. lol
  15. Mrs Marney - "Equilibrium constants and iconography etc"................you two should get a room. LOL is she puurdy? /edit - Maybe b0nEs will know more about the design side of this.
  16. yeah. The idea is to try and keep the point of interest near to the crosshairs (line crossovers) as possible. Max's face falls perfectly in the corsshair, and he's higher contrast, making him the main point of interest. Maybe graphic design works different to other kinds of media though. I'm no expert in graphic design and what not.
  17. I edited my post above to exemplify the flaw. She falls on the horizontal third, but the vertical third in dead centre.
  18. It may be a way of adding a sexual element or to attract the attention of female gamers? Doubt it. People should only fall on a rule of thirds. As i said, there are a few exceptions, and they usually contain an element of symmetry. This was obviously overlooked. Maybe R* feels like they can break the rules, and go avant guard on us, because they're the best Games Company EVER! xD
  19. I think it's the woman that ruins it. It doesn't follow composition rules, you should never put a point of interest in the middle unless it's holy, or god related. Oh and text normally falls in the centre. And they should always fall on the rule of thirds. Simple art design rules right there!
  20. I decided that I'm getting a fairly high-end laptop this year. Then I'll be able to play skyrim on the go
  21. That's ok, i'm sure they could turn them into decent porn sites.
  22. They both have the same colour palette Apart from the browns maybe, they look brighter.
  23. People moaning like bitches on the Rockstar Newswire that they don't like it. To be honest, i don't like it as a cover art. It feels quickly mashed together. The concepts are beautiful, i like them individually, but as a cover it sucks. I think it only needs Max on the front. i actually preferred this cover:
