  1. This feels reminiscent. Let's hope it's as good as the first two movies!
  2. Lmao, love it! I doubt GTA V will be set any tiime in the past. I think they're going to stick with the present day tbh... Just a feeling though. (Although i'd love it if they did capture a past time) I changed my mind. I have a strong feeling that this game will be in Vinewood. And the money logo represents the money making around Hollywood. - The game could take place during the 60's where big hit Films and Music started to reel out. - Vinewood set in the 80's where everyone wants to be in the film industry and there were a lot of drugs floating around. - We could take another trip back to the 90's Vinewood, and follow the gang crime from another perspective.

    GTA 3

I'd buy a Marston Figure. But to be honest I'd buy any protagonist figure from a Rockstar Games title! Except maybe a tennis player...
  4. I plan to get uber-drunk at various parties over halloween. This trailer will be my hang-over cure! I'll be watching this video all day, picking it apart! I'd laugh if it was just a theme tune and some concept of characters or something xD Let's look back at in time, see what Rockstar have done in the past: Vice City Trailer 1: San Andreas Trailer 1: LCS Trailer 1: VCS Trailer 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lo9jyy8OrsI GTA IV Trailer 1:
  5. Wishful indeed. I'm sure their'll be some birds, but not much more than that. I hope there is some rural land though too.
  6. Is this a summary or what you think it will be? Vinewood is a big contender I think.
  7. It would be good if the dollar logo could suggest something to do with building businesses? Sort of like Vice City Stories, but better.
  8. I don't see why they needed the V and the five. Seems a bit excessive. that's why i think the V is also an initial.
  9. lol. Still, it's interesting.... why did they choose that dollar bill to work with.
  10. The V (5) could also be an initial for the city. Possibly Vinewood or Ventures.
  11. I swear two or three of those guys were the actual voice actors for the games? Drake looked like the voice guy in all the developer videos. And Snake looked like David Hayter...
  12. There you go fixed. P.s. Dooby, your avatar looks broken my end.
  13. Doesn't seem to go very big for me? /Edit DW, i went to the main website and looked at it from there.

    RAGE

I haven't had a chance to play it all that much yet. But i feel the same as you Mass. I bought it on impulse and knew as soon as i walked out of the store that the money could of gone on one of many November releases instead. Oh well, I'll make the most of it over Christmas hopefully.

    RAGE

I've heard that RAGE uses some tech called "MegaTexture" or something along those lines. It essentially looks like this: A whole area or map will have all the textures saved to a giant texture sheet, which is meant to save the loading times for the level. But as you can see, the popping from levels of detail can be a pain. I think RAGE does this, but the textures sheets are on a much larger scale, like 100000x100000 pixels or something crazy. I'm not 100% sure, but i have heard this somewhere. /edit I've found this which sort of backs up my claim: http://wiki.polycount.com/Multitexture

    GTA 3

I tried adding the 'PlayRockStar10' guy when i first saw his name, but is was too late. He apparently reached max friends in minutes! Marney you finally got into a game then I gave up after adding all of the devs and waiting on an invite for hour and a half

Can't seem to find ranked matches. I forgot how to set them up.
  20. To be honest, I'm not that bothered about new consoles just yet. I think R* are only just getting to grips with the current gen consoles. They need time to be able to squeeze the full potential and optimize the games well. The PS2 for instance, had plenty of life-span for developers to play with. If a new console comes out in the next year or two, then we wont see any more than two GTA games on our current consoles. And that means they'll have to start again at square one like IV. On the other hand. They could continue to use the same structure and just add much more power under the hood for developers. But i don't really think that justifies a release of a new console. A new console should be the next jump in tech. Meaning a whole new design, hardware and software....
