What are you looking for in GTA5?
DuPz0r replied to Qdeathstar's topic in GTA 5 Pre-Release Discussion (Closed)
What about GTA Dhaka, marney? You start off as a hood rat and find yourself as a pedal pusher, taxi'ing randoms around before getting involved in a chick pea robbery and have to peddle a gang back to their hideout where they train you up to be a common thief where you network through the slums of dhaka until you finally make it out and start working for the big guns trading large drug supplies to contacts from around the world... -
As do I. The Mafia Sentinel got me through some serious shit more times than I can remember. The Mafia Sentinel was and still is my favourite GTA car of all time. I still like the Sports and Xs versions of the sentinel in black. That is the most nostalgic thing about GTA for me. The "Mafia" scene really had the most memorable impact on me in GTA III, and i still wait for some decent Italian mafia storyline in GTA once again...

There is little differences between both consoles which would enhance different assets. But over-all the games look and play almost identical tbh. Well at least they're still working on this title! After playing L.A.Noire, it's hard to imagine how this game will be...
-
This does look set to be a lengthy case. Hopefully it doesn't disappoint!

I really enjoyed this game. It was good but i wouldn't consider it the best non GTA R* title. Red Dead Redemption is way better. But The mechanics and side missions are what made this game a classic Rockstar Game.

Good points guys. I was thinking the same tbh. I do love the original cars, but I was looking at some "real cars" mod at the time and some guys have replaced all the cars on IV with the real world versions. It got me thinking...
-
Rockstar North/ DMA Design had to invent their cars due to their budget (GTA I-III) and possibly because they wouldn't be allowed to get real cars in anyway. But they decided to keep their brand of cars on to the next gen too. Do you think the next generation of GTA (not the next instalment) will ever have licences to use real world car makes and models? Most racing games these days are allowed to have crash models of their vehicles. so it's possible... i know GTA is a bit controversial in it's gameplay style. And maybe the Big brand companies may not like this. But I thought this could make good discussion. Also, Would you like to see real world vehicles in GTA at some point? the modding community seem to love having real vehicles in their games for some reason. And it seems like a lot of people like it. I personally think it would be good. But I'd miss some of the established GTA world cars. (even though they're based on real cars anyway). But I don't think it will happen, just because it would be a bad image for most car companies. Especially the supercar giants.

That reminds me. ICO And Shadow of the Colossus are being Hd remastered. Which is a good idea i think. I'd love to play a remastered version of 3 In the Rage engine! But it isn't going to happen lets face it... IV is the new city they wont go back to III again. I think Liberty City Stories was the closest we're gonna get to a remastered version xD Hmm, now i wanna play LCS too! Saying that, i just remembered that every time a new GTA comes out, a bunch of modders from the GTA community always end up doing a GTA III map conversion. Not really the game, but it'd still be nice to walk around on the GTA 3 map in a current gen engine.

I always have a GTA (PS2) session (by session means i mean play a bit of each one of the three) at least once every 6 months!

The most memorable GTA to date! Because it wasnt too long, i remember almost every mission. the story was amazing fun at the time and reminded me of a lot of mafia flicks including The God Father, Goodfellas and The Sopranos. My favourite GTA to be honest. Even though it was the shortest GTA of it's generation, it had the most impact on me. This is the game that converted me into a hardcore GTA fan and that's most likely why I'm still here today on this forum talking about it!

I logged into my US account today and claimed my other free PSN+/welcome back pack. I managed to pick up Stardust HD which replaces Ratchet and Clank in the US version of the welcome back package, so i did get two new games after all! If you guys have multiple regional accounts you could end up getting most the those free games btw No wonder half of you guys in the US have got PSN+, you get way more free shit on PSN than we do... I managed to pick up a load of other free games and themes and stuff over at the US store, compared to like three freebies on our PSN atm... I got Sonic 2 for 30 days on PSN US

So when they say "open up some new multiplayer locations", do they mean places that already exist in single player? Because they didn't say create or add new areas...
-
Sweeeeet. This one looks interesting!
-
I feel exactly the same right now. I know we're way off a GTA release but i need something to make up for it in the mean time.

PS Vita is the PSP2. The one that was codenamed NGP (Next Gen Portable) it's almost as powerful as the PS3 in terms of specs. It does everything except phone. The Xperia Play is the PSP Phone.
-
What's all this, then? ok never mind, i just tried it just now and it worked. I tried it before and it said it didn't exist.
-
Your PSN ID never-ever worked for me. Do you intend on playing SR3 online? Would be nice to actually play this one online. I never got into SR2 enough to want to play it online really...GTAIV just stole the lime-light.
-
This was one of the top three of my most wanted from E3. Probably in pole position actually. SandboxRPG for the while!
-
So who actually bought the R* pass? I know you did b0nEs. I liked the DLC btw. I thought that they were both a little short for my liking, but i guess you can't get that much gameplay out of a single case. The Slip of the Tongue was much shorter than The Naked City but they were both ok cases. they could've been part of the main game though. it just felt like they took them out last minute. Nothing amazing like GTAIV DLC or RDR DLC.
-
Well we should find out in 5 or so minutes Instead of Wii 2 it's Wii U xD Tablet controller O_O Bit of an anti-climax if you ask me...
-
Far Cry 3 looked pretty bad ass with EXTREME foliage! And Assassin's Creed: Revelations has an interesting story as usual. i see what you mean though, you wanna see less sequels and more innovation and originality, amIrite?
-
I'm afraid not. Unless they've patched it since I last played co-op. But it used to be only one co-op at a time.
-
Really? I've found it quite eventful for both 360 and PS3... Uncharted 3 gameplay looked epic. Resistance 2 wasn't as good as I had hoped. Tomb Raider looked bloody amazing. Bioshock 3 looked out of this world. Mass effect 3 looked pretty exciting. inFamous 2 looked better then the first. Modern Warfare 3 had an epic set piece of New York. And not forgetting Skyrim, which looked fucking brilliant!!! This years E3 has already outshone last years (but I guess that wasn't hard).

I tried to tell everyone here on the old forum... I got no replies... lol It's a good game, it just wasnt very well publicized. And it's more of an arcade game than the norm, but it works very well as co-op. Also co-op can only be done with one person at a time or it resets. It doesn't effect your single player campaign though.
