  1. Feel free to post links to whatever you are talking about.
  2. There is a military base not too far from the city of Los Angeles. No one was denying existence of a military base since obviously the Hydra/whatever it'll be called came from somewhere. The topic title talks of an Area 51-type military base and nuclear test sites. Also, the Statue of Happiness was holding a steaming coffee cup. Not a soda. Plus it was based on the Statue of Liberty which actually exists in NY harbor. It's not like they stitched Philadelphia onto onto the west edge of the map.
  3. Not his first. I guess he chose to stay with this account instead of the gtavinfo one.
  4. I was thinking that right after the title cracks up, the black background dissolves into a scene in the game (like the words are a sign on a building or something). Then the girl walks/runs by and things kick off from there.
  5. I think there should be less sand (time wise), more sand (quantity wise) across the letters, and more "pop" for the big cracking. Like if you took something brittle and broke it. The crack doesn't slowly happen it just goes BANG and breaks. The "pop" is when the sand should fall out as if it was shook loose. And then it shouldn't pour out for a few seconds like someone's shoe. A second or two and it's done flowing. I think you should get what I'm saying.
  6. Google Translate couldn't help me understand this.
  7. 0MG DIS T0PIC IS S0 AWES0ME!i!i!i! Doubt I'll be there.
  8. QD wanted to be allowed to troll more. That's all this topic was about.
  9. I didn't say it was a square. I said it is more square. The Ritz Carlton has a much more elongated rectangle and the Marriott does too. Both sections of the L are smaller than real life. And yes, there does appear to be slight curve on the one long side but the building also begins to jut out on a short side too as seen when the older guy is looking out at the city. Again, there's a very good chance that it's an influence.
  10. Title definitely needs scratches/dust/etc to make it fit the world. Basically steal the Uncharted logo. I kind of laughed at the pre-vis because it reminded me of the leaked unfinished Xmen movie where the major visuals weren't complete and most of the CGI was untextured.
  11. I think the Mile High building is more square as far as the main footprint, but it is definitely a possible influence.
  12. Area 51 = Nevada Roswell = New Mexico I don't think any nuclear bomb tests were conducted in California.
  13. They're just covering their butts. They already have Social Club TV. If they do use the names, they'll probably just use it as a playlist of their videos.
  14. Rockstar likes to concentrate on one game in one particular setting. They also like to use as much disc space as possible to bring us a large, detailed game. This requires time to develop it all. Putting all the cities in one game is pointless and a waste of time. Either each city (and the whole game) would be cut back in every sense to make room or they would have to put each detailed city on its own disc. Considering the time it takes to create one masterpiece, we would be waiting a long time for such a game to get out the door. This isn't only bad for us gamers who want to play the game, but also for Rockstar and Take-Two who need to sell games to make money - GTA being the high money maker.
  15. That's why they use GTA Race. Everyone can pick a cop car/truck in the lobby.
  16. I had a random thought about this yesterday... I want a side mission string with someone similar to Paul Reubens aka Pee-wee Herman. Since Rockstar likes to remake things into the "what if things didn't get better" story, Paul (or whoever) would be an ex-kid show character struggling after losing the show years ago due to arrests for indecent exposure or similar. We have to help him get his old life back although not completely because of the life he entered. The missions could play out like: Take him to his house (we find him somewhere like a strip club), exchange numbers so he can call you later. Take him to an audition or TV company so he can try to get a show again He gets another chance with the TV executives, so help him get some drugs so he can think of a script. Cops bust the deal so get him out of there before he gets arrested again. Sometime later the show is starting to take off. He needs some help with costumes and wants you to get a certain prostitute he knows. The prostitute's pimp wants his bitch back. Kill the pimp in a gun fight. Much later, escort Paul to an award show (be his limo driver). Something like that.
  17. Busted looks like it gets old after a few games. Plus I don't expect people to actually follow the rules after a couple rounds. At least Demolition Derby is easy since everyone knows how to play that. And you can always pick a different series of vehicles to change it up.
  18. It's a little kid with nothing better to do. He's been dealt with.
  19. You could have said "peds in the trailer have different accessories" without posting all these screens.
  20. As far as we know it is just Los Santos and the countryside. There are topics about this already. Your thoughts: Just Los Santos or San Fierro and Las Venturas too?
  21. GTA III and Chinatown Wars are both on sale for $0.99.
  22. Your mission is to find the liquor store. Failure will result in a ban. Seriously though, the amount of airports really depends on if there are other cities or major areas. I'm sure you know LA has tons of small airports but the size of Los Santos we've seen doesn't appear to be big enough to have additional small runways scattered around. Considering how far up San Francisco is, I really doubt it is in the game. San Diego isn't too far fetched but I think that is also going beyond the area Rockstar is working with. I do think there will be small airstrips out in the country areas to make a quick trip across the map. As for the military, I think Edwards Air Force Base will be home to the Hydra (or whatever it ends up being called).
