Very good to know. I guess once you unlock GTAO it just stays unlocked... I wonder how long until Rockstar patches it... Just make sure your account didn't auto-pay for a new year or something. Sony could have screwed you without you knowing it.

As far as I know you still need PS+ for GTAO on PS4. You can still use snapmatic and such to connect with Social Club without PS+.

I'm still saving up GTA$ on PS3 before I transfer my character to PC (although apparently there are modders galore on PC literally throwing money at people). Even when I do finally transfer I probably won't be on much. I thought there were a few people on here getting the PC version but maybe not so much for the GTAO aspect.

No but it's been a long, long time with nothing [official] to show. RDRedemption and LA Noire at least had screenshots and some information during their long developments.

The tip is also the locking mechanism for the audio input. So you would have to overcome the little latch. I would take the controller apart and get to that circuit board. I can't find any good pictures of the backside of the port to see if there's a place for a pin to disable the lock or dislodge the tip. From an electronics standpoint I would think the tip stuck in there wouldn't do much. I'm pretty sure the first section nearest the wire is ground so the other sections aren't connected to anything else. Worst case you won't have a mic or one side of your audio.

Maybe it was different back then when the event stuff started. It's kind of friendly competition these days. Honestly when there are 30 or more people at the events I only know the website a handful of people belong to. The rest are unknowns.

I think I browsed the old mod boards a while ago when I was greened and nothing specific was said in there. And yeah, the asylum-topic-queen complaining about less topics seems normal.

In an effort to reduce the amount of "look at my gta v movie" and "i need crew members" topics, I brought back the Newbie user group. It is essentially the regular members group without the ability to create new topics. At this time newbies will upgrade to Members after one post. We can change that if needed. Hopefully new members attempt to look at the pinned topics this way. Also, due to IPB's not-always-helpful ways, everyone that was a Member is in the Newbie group until they make a new post. I think I explored it once while taking pics of the Rapid GT for the vehicle page. Aside from that there is nothing to do there.

If I'm not mistaken, that's the beach club around Pacific Bluffs northwest of LS. Part of the Finale Option C takes place out front (or starts there).

I actually put some time into this but there are still some parts I don't like and couldn't get the camera to move correctly. When Pigs Fall... The more I use the Rockstar Editor the more I hate it. I couldn't get shots from the police helicopter or closeups of the officers since they were "too far away".

Made this a few days ago to test out the video editor camera modes. Nothing fancy. I made another to test camera movement between points but haven't uploaded it. The distance limits from your character kind of suck. The end cuts off right as Franklin gets "too far".

Yeah the video editor leaves a lot to be desired for me. You'd think they would make placing/copy/pasting clips in the timeline easy like 99% of video editors... It seems like they made it for a console user and not solely for PC. The Mission Creator-style menu system is a bit annoying as well. Again it seems like they made it for console use.

A lot of people are having problems and I've seen a few posts on Reddit about a standard download speed. When I downloaded the Social Club software it kept failing right at the end and would need to start over from nothing. The 5th or so try finally went through.

What GTA V PC Mods Do You Want to See? Feel free to add to this. I took some ideas from comments on my status update.

Except Sony will have their all-in-one. And Microsoft will have their all-in-one. And you'll still need different discs for the different "consoles".

I would assume they are all install. Swapping discs almost defeats the purpose of having a PC.
