    Of course but that's the foreground. With everything from real life squashed together things are much more close in LS than LA which is why Koreatown is right down the road from Venice in GTA V.

    I don't think the trailer was in danger of being wiped at all. R* HQ is in charge of marketing so that's where most of the stuff we see comes from. Even if the trailer was done (I'll bet plenty of money they work on it until the release just like thier games) the computer/server it's stored on may not have been accessible due to the blackout. On top of that the people whose job it is to update the site and social media outlets may not have been able to do so with the blackout either. I know a lot of them live in the NYC area for obvious reasons so their own homes may have been without power too.

    Might have located some things in the Vespucci Canal pic: 5900 Wilshire on the left and possibly the La Brea Tar pits or a part of the Museum of Art in the middle. That one thing definitely looks like a sculpture of sorts.

    This is the most appropriate topic I can think of at 1 AM for this... On the front page someone linked me to Curtis Snow's twitter: https://twitter.com/...529951250862080 The movie he was in was about gang life in Atlanta, Georgia (East Coast). No idea if the tweet is legit or not.

    I think Rockstar knows people will leak out whatever they can - especially at retailers since Rockstar themselves can't control the employees. They aren't leaking things on purpose or being "forced" to say something. Rockstar has a schedule and need to ship items to retailers beforehand so of course people are going to take advantage and post things earlier than they are supposed to. Rockstar finally said something because that's when they planned to. Probably build some hype before tomorrow's apparently planned trailer.

    Rockstar packs as much as they can into the standard game. They aren't as bad as other companies that remove content to sell as DLC later.

    Exactly, that's the conclusion i came to. My guess is they intended to release it on Halloween, but never got the chance. /edit, can a mod add this thread to the back end of the spring thread or something? save us from switching between topics, which are pretty much the same? Yeah I've been thinking about merging the three topics into one. Unfortunately a certain child whined too much in the first one so I guess we'll just merge the other two. edit: Okay, I put the promotional item ones together. Left the Sping 2013 topic by itself since that was supposed to be about the newswire article. No idea how messed up the posts are in this topic but oh well.

    Or the 1st trailer showed Vespucci Beach. Anyway, Vespucci is based on real life Venice, California. Aside from the beach there are actual canals running around a few neighborhoods.
