    I'm not 100% sure but I think the chute was automatic, not something he controlled (unless he had to). In anycase once he stepped off that platform he was GONE. Perfect standing landing. edit: wiki says he pulled the chute. what-evs.

    There was no "remastered edition" of GTA III for PC and consoles. We'll probably see a PS2 Classics release on PSN like GTA III since both games were rated by the ESRB for the PS3 at the same time.

    Pretty much everything (including all of ^that^) was posted within the first week. Most of what you said is looking way beyond what we'll actually see anyway.

    I'm certain the first previews are not hands-on since they make a big deal about it later when they finally do get to play the game for themselves. A dev shows off certain things (both to not reveal too much and show the non-buggy parts of the game ) and answers questions the magazine has about what they saw (again, not revealing too much).

    In case anyone cares, I've been working on a Red Dead skin for the iRD forums. Still some things to work out (such as the background for the post reply areas, having trouble finding that) but for people just viewing the forum it should be fine for now. If I can get everything down with this skin I'll go for templates for all the different GTA games. But that's a while down the road right now.

    There's no hours as far as I'm aware. They pay higher tolls so PANYNJ wants the money. Realistically it's easier for delivery trucks to get around at night but I see plenty during the day (on tight streets too).

They haven't added bike lanes all over the place for nothing. That's in the running for "most stupid post of the year". Even saying "there's no motorcycles in NYC" or "there's no tractor trailers in NYC" would have been slightly smarter (but still completely wrong for either). Indeedy.
