  1. Most modern TV's are webtv's now. We're talking about the company named WebTV which according to the wiki became MSN TV.
  2. I know exactly where things are in that pic (or at least the jet ski in the trailer since that's easy) but haven't updated my map yet. I got a few things to update on the main pages first. I can kind of make out the Downtown skyline on the right. I think I see the other smaller bridges in the port area in the center. To the right of the parking lot light with the palm trees next to it. I'll take a look with photoshop later.
  3. Psy was going crazy with NY Minute Hardcore. He got it eventually after like 50 tries. I tried the regular version and died on the third level. Gave up right there.
  4. I got a life, thanks for the advice tho. Just cuz you can't stand that ppl do more than just jizz their pants looking at a picture and actually wanna put the shown something into context... jeez... get a life yourself He wasn't even talking to you. He has a point, TreeFitty is looking way too much into it. The 2405 idiots look too much into things. The people believing that obvious hints are purposely put into screens/trailers look too much into it (most of the stuff is rediculous). Trying to match buildings to tie the whole map together isn't looking too much into it. Sorry if both of you are not old enough to appreciate effort. One day you'll know what that is. Oh and since I don't have a life, I'm just going to log out and fap for a few hours while pretending that I'm not still looking at the forums or GTA V pictures. Then I'll log back in later and pretend I spent time finding all kinds of things in the screens. Hooray for it not being a school night!
  5. I think Rockstar blackened the red car guy from the trailer a little bit. And gave him some hair. Definitely appears to be him in all four screenshots. Using Rockstar's order: 1. I think the front car on the tractor trailer is a Comet. 2. Water looks very nice. 3. The guy running with the vest makes me think this is at the airport. Definitely Infernus. 4. This is the Port of Los Santos (really Long Beach side in real life, though). Gerald Desmond Bridge on the right and you can see the Vincent Thomas Bridge off to the left.
  6. I was also quite young when the internet was getting big. I remember when my elementary school had one dialup connection in the computer lab. One random day we were all sitting around (computers around the walls with a couple in the center) playing with word games or this tessellation program that was pretty cool. Then this noise just started from the middle of the room where the teacher's computer was. Everyone stopped and turned around staring at the teacher. Eventually she noticed and told us it was the internet. None of us knew what the hell she was talking about and everyone ended up standing around her to see what it was. Being so young (can't remember what age/grade but it had to be before 4th grade) we really couldn't comprehend what she was telling us about different websites and how it was all over the world. The websites she showed us were extremely basic looking by today's standards. I kind of remember blue and yellow boxes. Most of us lost interest in a few minutes and went back to our own computers. Internet useage for computer class really didn't start until about 7th grade I think. By then there were plenty more websites and things were much more advanced. Expage and candystand were the shit. Everyone I knew had an expage of some sort and candystand was the place to play games when the teacher wasn't looking. I also had WebTV at home sometime during the elementary school era. Countless nights flying down that road waiting for it to load while listening to the dialup noise. I knew the tones for the "phone" number and kind of danced to the noise like that cliche car alarm with 10 different sirens. No idea what the first website I visited was. Probably whatever email service we were using (thank god not aol). I guess shitty internet back then kept it as a novelty and not another life the way it is now. It's weird not checking up on here or email or anything for more than 24 hours. Kind of hard to really think about life before internet since I was a kid and most of that time is a blur. Probably too busy in the real world with school, sports, toys, and friends I was talking to face to face or on the phone. Internet was there but no way a part of my life yet. I guess I'm done rambling. o_o
  7. I looked at the house(s) a little more: They are VERY similar but I see a couple issues: Issue 1 is the width of the wall. In the trailer pic (top) the white wall section is a couple feet wide. In the screenshot (bottom) that section of wall is much bigger. Issue 2 is the smaller wall section. In the trailer pic it ends (notice the shadow) and might continue with glass. In the screenshot the wall continues on for a large distance. Yes that part of the wall is on an angle but the column (highlighted with blue) that's a few feet away is about halfway in the trailer and much closer to the cliff side in the screenshot. Issue 3 I'll just add that the roof over the deck in the trailer appears flat (note the shadow has no angled piece) and the screenshot looks like a pitched roof. I'm not 100% on this one since the distance/pixelation could be affecting it. On the plus side both have a large tree towards the right and the screenshot looks to have some vines/whatever hanging over the front-right corner of the deck roof just like the trailer (again note the shadow). On a related note I found a building with a sunken tennis court similar to the one in the screenshot in Pacific Palisades, CA: Similar layout and architecture but there are many like it.
  8. That wasn't a thread. It was a blog post to get other people making blogs. Not like I give a shit. I was happy with everyone else to get a trailer.
  9. I think that's a red tree. Can't see it in the trailer but it may be hidden by another small tree on the deck:
  10. There was a quick chat about the bridge on page 1 or 2. Not exactly the same as the one in SA. edit: Now that I've had time to really compare the exercise/cliff house, I think I'm going to retract my previous statement and agree that it's in the background of the tennis pic. The upper deck looked too wide with windows in the wrong spots but I've looked closer at the slightly varying colors which would be different walls/angles. The railings are also dark and looked solid but that may just be the distant less-detailed model of the house.
  11. Instead of just saying "the mansion in Beverly Hills Cop". Also, that house does not look like the one where the people were exercising. Not even their neighbor. edit later: see my next post
  12. It looks like one of them has a 'Sprunk" logo on it but i could be wrong. It definitely looks like Sprunk. I'm 99% sure it is Sprunk.
  13. People have been pointing out the October thing since the first trailer. Nothing new.
  14. I think I see what you're looking at but it looks like a rock in a small boat shape.
  15. Not quite the Bixby Bridge. The bridge in the screenshot has open trusses. The one you are talking about was a San Andreas influence (I just looked it up about 10 minutes ago). I'm sure someone will point out the actual influence from a real life bridge.
  16. I wasn't expecting the next set so soon. Especially with the possibility of more on Friday (hope so).
  17. ^That. They wouldn't offset the letters and make it uneven. No reason to change the name either.
  18. I should have asked if you had one of the latest Photoshops or similar that could counter the motion blur. I have the first CS which doesn't have a smart sharpen or whatever else advanced filters to do it.
