The one with the helicopter would be above the group of streets right above the red car pic (being chased by the cops) looking south/southwest since that's Beverly Hills. The lake one would be right under the Vinewood sign pic for Echo Park looking west.

I was thinking about going to Times Square to watch the live stream but I don't think it'll be worth it. Not like they are going to show anything amazing. It'll be a bunch of NASA people standing around and then cheering. I doubt any surface images will be broadcast for a bit since they have to do a thousand checks to make sure everything is working.

Says created October 5th. Not November 2nd. Hard to know who actually created it so I'll remain skeptical. If it was Rockstar, why didn't they add that to the website with the twitter link?

Something to keep an eye on. I don't think Rockstar has used a "fake" YouTube channel before so that would be new for them. edit: Also, according to the GTA wiki Maccer's comeback tour was on the site in 2004 (SA's release).

We had this discussion regarding Pachter somewhere. Probably buried by now because that's from January. Nevermind. Euro dates. But Pachter has done shit like this before.

I've used MS Publisher to do plenty of things (and Powerpoint too if the computer doesn't have Publisher). Some people can't get it in their minds that you can do some pretty good graphic work with those programs.

To me Rockstar would want to be the ones announcing anything or have a chance to hype the release a little bit. It's not avatars it's a whole Grand Theft Auto game. Aside from the ESRB ratings this came out of nowhere. Rockstar hasn't said a peep so I think they want to have some control or a decent say over one of their games releasing.
