^That^. Just because we have Los Santos, and just because it is in the state of San Andreas, does NOT mean we will have the other cities or even the same names for places (Chiliad for example). I doubt Mt. Chiliad will be changed, but you never know. I don't think Rockstar would change the monumental landmarks that represent what the game is.

It's not Luis' brother, his bro was like a successful business man or something, I doubt he would be running from the cops. Unless his business was illegal? OMFG!1!one!E = mc2

I didn't understand a thing you said.

If he was latino there would be a lot of elements to explore in Los Santos, but I wouldn't mind at all if he was black. But what I don't want is an Italian mobster.

Drug Dealing in Grand Theft Auto 5
Rayge replied to therealkiddala's topic in GTA 5 Pre-Release Discussion (Closed)
The reason I don't jack cars, helicopters, kill innocent bystanders, hit-n-run, shoot RPG's is because I can do it in GTA so I don't need to do it in real life. -
I don't think the idea of being restricted to the size of a garage is a good idea, maybe in some safehouses but not all. As I mentioned before, I would like to see the ability to park almost anywhere on your property, within reason of course.

The Argument for San Fierro and Las Venturas
Rayge replied to City of Dis's topic in GTA 5 Pre-Release Discussion (Closed)
Hypothetically speaking let's assume GTA V is 30 square miles. So if San Fierro and Las Venturas were included at 4 square miles each, that would leave 22sq/m left for Los Santos, and the surrounding countryside. Realistically if LS is the main city it should be bigger than the rest, so maybe 6sq/m? The size of LC? and add on 2sq/m for the little towns scattered across the countryside. So that leaves 14sq/m of countryside, which in my opinion is a reasonable contryside:city ratio. -
What are you looking for in GTA5?

A black guy.... In GTA.... HE MUST BE CJ, who else could it be? Oh I don't know, maybe one of the other 40 million black people in the USA? -
What are you looking for in GTA5?

Yeah, where was Ammu-Nation in IV? Why wasn't it included? Anyway, I agree with your idea of making money, there should be lots of ways to do it and lots to spend it on. In GTA IV there was nothing to spend your money on... -
Drug Dealing in Grand Theft Auto 5
Rayge replied to therealkiddala's topic in GTA 5 Pre-Release Discussion (Closed)
Here is an idea I have about this topic: You should receive a duffle bag from a story line mission that introduces you to the whole concept by the objective being to buy 10 grams of weed and sell 5 grams of coke, or whatever. Then that should unlock the ability to trade drugs any time when you are free roaming, as long as you have the duffle bag equipped. So you could walk around with the duffle bag, locate dealers (dispayed by various signs, like how strippers approach you in GTA IV, or on your GPS like in CTW) and trade with them with a similar interface to CTW. The more you have, the slower you move and more suspicious you look towards the cops. Maybe if you walked around with it full for a long time you could get 1/2/3 stars, and busts should occur randomly as well. Start small by selling weed and downers, and moving on to coke and heroin after a while. Maybe even have a stash in some of your safehouses. Although I must admit, dealing drugs in CTW was far too easy, if it is incorporated again it needs to be harder, especially since the game is all about the value of the dollar. -
The Argument for San Fierro and Las Venturas
Rayge replied to City of Dis's topic in GTA 5 Pre-Release Discussion (Closed)
Yeah I agree, if they aren't gonna include the other cities they might as well analyse LA now and make Los Santos almost identical, obviously scaled down. It would be cool, but there would be no kids to terrorize, because that would cause all sorts of legal problems. I would like to see a parody of Disneyland in Anaheim and of Six Flags MM in Santa Clarita. I wouldn't mind choosing between rival parks to sabotage the competition, blow up a ride here, loosen a bolt there... -

The Argument for San Fierro and Las Venturas
Rayge replied to City of Dis's topic in GTA 5 Pre-Release Discussion (Closed)
True, but obviously Rockstar aren't gonna keep Los Santos and the other cities that size... Just look at the transformation of LC from III > IV. HUGE amount of change. That's what I'm expecting in V as well, I am posetive they won't keep those tiny-ass cities with all this new technology. That was my point exactly, the new Los Santos (I'm hoping) will be nothing like the old one from San Andreas. and if the transformation of Liberty City is anything to go by then I don't see why the GTA 5 map can't bigger than the whole state of San Andreas map. Yeah, If it's only los Santos and the "surrounding countryside" I could see Los Santos being as big as 3/4 or even all of San Andreas. I read somewhere GTA V's map would be 2-2.5x as large as RDR - Which is HUGE. If that is the case, I would make a guess that the other cities are included. But if they're not, Los Santos might be massive. -
OMFG that would be so epic having riots blocking off the city. I could just see LSPD with riot gear shooting random violent peds on the other side, LOL!

It is possible that there will be two more cities, Rockstar isn't going to reveal the entire game in one trailer. Hell, they didn't even reveal the protagonist... So I'm betting in future trailers we will see a lot more! If the map is 2x RDR as I read somewhere, they could easily fit 3 large cities (The ones in San Andreas were tiny) and a lot of countryside as well. -
This is the GTA universe, so it would include people like Madd Dog and CJ on there. That would be a pretty cool easteregg.

He moved to Vice City to open up a gunstore didn't he? Perhaps we will see him then, presuming GTA VI is in VC. EDIT: More on topic. I would like there to be a lot of different random encounters, such as: -Being Mugged (but not all your money obviously if you fail at smokin' that mo'fo'.) -Being car jacked (maybe, although this wouldn't be good at all if you spent 50k pimpin' yo' ride and some asshole came and jacked it) -Getting into gun fights ( just simple ones) -Enemy gang members attacking you (presuming the character is in a gang) -More, but nothing else came to the top of my head. -Just watching other peds go through the same stuff as you, THAT would be amazing and add a lot of realism to the game.

Drug Dealing in Grand Theft Auto 5

Yeah, In CTW I made literally millions from drug trading. It was awesome, I really hope they include it in GTA V. It was in IV, but very bad, only as a few missions and you never go to see or choose. -

What's the point? You earned WAY too much money in GTA IV, there was nothing to spend it on except $1 burgers, clothes and weapons. At least in San Andreas there were houses, cars, tattoos, hair, clothes, food all to pay for so it didn't seem like there was too much money.
