  1. So this is basically stemming from the recent posts in 'what are you looking for in gta5', about zombies and shit. Here are some I'd like to see on the current or next generation of consoles: 1.) A 3rd person zombie survival game, with a focus on surviving, scavenging for supplies and fortifying bases (like Morgan's in The Walking Dead). 2.) Gladiator game in ancient rome, where you build up your fighter and customize him as he wins his fights, fighting opponents like tigers, lions and of course other gladiators. Lots of gore pl0x. 3.) Some kind of pirate game with pillaging and shit like that, sailing around looking for ships to rob and settlements to fuck up.
  2. The map was from gtaforums by some guy named xrCore. They literally just copied it without changing anything except the colors and graphic design.
  3. Made these using Banana Pudding's estimate. Really simple stuff, but it shows how the cities are almost the same size, with LC being slightly larger overall.
  4. For the most part, yeah. But I still want more, because I'm holding out for a game that does it right. RDR was close, because people were defending their settlements and whatnot, but I'm waiting for a game that takes it further. I want to survive, not play an FPS with zombies. I can't remember the title, but someone was working on a downloadable game (might have been 360 exclusive, unfortunately) where you had to find supplies like food and fortifications for your base, and find survivors to help the base grow into a community, amidst a zombie apocalypse. That's the kind of game I want. I want the zombies to be an obstacle, but I want survival to be the focus. I spent a lot of time roleplaying in Undead Nightmare, gathering imaginary supplies, finding safe places to camp out, saving towns. It was a lot of fun. Also, Thieves' Landing was the safest town in the game. I spent a lot of time looking around every inch of the place, thinking about where fortifications and barriers should be, etc. Still waiting, game industry. Still waiting... That's exactly what I mean. I believe the creators of the Day Z mod for Arma 2 are creating an independent zombie game based on survival and stuff, so hopefully it's like we expect. Another type of game that's missing from the market - Motherfuckin' badass Gladiator games like Shadow of Rome and Colosseum: Road to Freedom. They were awesome, customizing your fighter and improving his gear etc... in CRF you could even chop someones arm off and use it as a weapon.
  5. Seems likely, since stealth is one of the RPG-style stats for each protagonist. Manhunt style, hopefully.
  6. I hate CoD zombies and basically every zombie game except RDR zombies. Zombies so overrated and I laugh at how people took 'zomg zombie apocalypse survival' so seriously. But an open world survival game would seriously be pretty fun, having to make decisions and shit like in GTA
  7. Looks accurate, good work. Don't get how CGV got it like 50 miles to the East...
  8. Reminds me of the Walking Dead, it could easily be a game on it's own. A good, open world zombie game would be really awesome in my opinion.
  9. What do you mean? It's a trace over of the city from the blueprint, just with thicker freeways and adjustments that make no sense. It looks slightly larger. However, that's probably because of the little white roads and nonsensical adjustments you mentioned.
  10. The blimp can't stay in the air forever gunsmith... I'd say it has a special spawn somewhere on the map, more than likely the airport. I think I read in one of the articles that the players can own ports and runways. So it only seems logical that the blimp spawns on the runway.
  11. I'm hoping Los Santos is roughly the size of CGV's version. That's probably the only part of the map that's semi-accurate, since that's probably the most of what they've seen.
  12. I think they saw a lot more of the city than they did the countryside, which is why that area of the map seems slightly sloppy. Either way, it's just an estimate so we'll just have to wait for Rockstar to officially reveal the map.
  13. It's directly from CGV's map. They probably just typed in 'GTA 5 logo' in Google and it came up/
  14. I don't mind waiting, but what's the point in announcing a release date if you're going to push it back? Maybe once or twice sure, it happens. But it's happened so often with Rockstar, one would think they would've learnt to only announce it when they are extremely confident.
  15. Sorry man, but you're a bit slow. It's already been posted a few minutes ago
  16. Maybe it fits in our garage But in all seriousness, it's probably on the ground in the player owned airstrip.
  17. They did say in the video they would like fans to edit it, so hopefully Dup and Fitty work on it Edit: This post came on a new page, so I'll link the my CGV post in this spoiler:
  18. Here's their map if you can't be bothered to watch the video: A few notable landmarks: -racetrack -prison -casino -airstrip (in addition to the airport) -skate park The city of LS also looks to be quite big on this map, certainly larger than anticipated from the preorder map, taking up a sizable portion of the entire map. It's actually pretty close to Dup's map, some parts are creepily similar:
  19. I believe LA NOIRE, MAX PAYNE 3, and I think Red Dead Redemption, O.K. ........................................ But other than those, none then... Well that's 5 including V, don't know how many you need for an example. Edit: MC:LA, Manhunt 2, GTA:SA (only a week though) and technically Agent since it was scheduled to release for PS3, but now it's not looking that way. So that's 8 for definite, and maybe even 9 from 2004-2013.

    XBOX One

Marketing to a family audience could also be an attempt to enter the market of the original Wii, which generated almost 100 million sales worldwide, Outshining the Xbox360 by like 23 million.
  21. I do not think they lied about purchasable property, I think they announced that they would not include it to see how people responded. They got a negative response so they changed their minds. Yeah, I believe that was pretty early on. A lot would've changed since then, and this was a good thing, probably stemming from the responses. Is that what caused the delay??? Nah, Rockstar plans to delay their games. They can't release a game without delaying it, it's just how they work.
