  1. I know - saw that picture while doing some work at school, thought it was pretty funny. My main post was underneath.
  2. Congratulations. Here, you deserve a prize. Good ol' Spidey. It is possible. However in my opinion, it's not going to happen. I guess I should say that instead, because other suggestions that they won't be are apparently not good enough to support my idea.
  3. I've been saying how they probably won't, trying to explain why. Not that they definitely won't, that they probablywont. Of course I might be wrong, but so might you, Kuz and Banana Pudding. Corrected myself afterwards. What was the second quote trying to prove?

"Grand Theft Auto V focuses on the pursuit of the almighty dollar in a re-imagined, present day Southern California." To me, this says the game is based in Southern California. Just because they say that doesn't mean the entire map is revealed, we know nothing of the map so far, just an idea of where the game is set - there's a difference. However, I understand what you're trying to say. The problem is that interpretation varies for everyone, so the only way we'll know for certain is when they physically release an image of the map. And I'm almost positive they're not passing up on creating a HD version of SF and LV, but I would rather they save them for their own games for later. Companies have a large selection of fantastic ideas and concepts, but they release them slowly, deliberately leaving out certain features that they can include in their next game/product, like the iPhone and many others. Imagine Rockstar made a GTA in a few years where you could go from LV to SF to LS to LC and loads of other cities by plane, in full HD with all the content imaginable. What then, once that game has had it's time?
  5. You just got yourself killed. You're right. I'm a moron. Now, explain to me what "so far means". You still haven't replied to my last post asking you what the reason is you feel so strongly that san fierro and las venturas will be in the game.
  6. The irony, it burns! Plus, I believe you can take a physics major or some shit like that in University to become an expert on the topic, highschool physics is nothing ( I think, I mean I'm at that stage)
  7. I've wondered that as well. I like history, and it's relatively easy to remember stuff. But learning from in depth games like AC is just so much better.

    World Of Warcraft

They're both fantasy based MMOs, and they both have the minimap in the top right (without addons). Other than that, they're completely different. Controls and UI are way better in WoW than runescape, don't know how I ever managed to play Runescape with those controls. The UI has changed a lot (far smoother, but a recent update made it take more clicks to get to the quest list, my only gripe.). My only real issue is its fucking arrow keys instead of WASD, could be easily fixed if they made it click to the chat box to talk, but pressing any text key begins to type in the chatbox. Indeed, I used to occasionally log on sometimes, and I just ended up typing in wadsawdawasddaw all the time because I was so used to it for moving. However, arrow keys and wasd can't really be used if the game is going to run on the same engine, as it is still divided into... squares? That the players can/can't move onto.
  9. Don't forget that it's a game and enjoyment is more important than realism and logic. True, however it doesn't mean the game has to defy all logic. Some games, like Saint's Row are themed to be like that - just pure fun. Games like GTA (usually) try to evoke a connection with the character and atmosphere, and to some extent aim for semi-realism.
  10. Fuck that shit, I have to reply. Jesus fucking christ, let me make an announcement, people don't seem to understand what I'm saying. I believe there WILL be another city except Los Santos However, that doesn't necessarily mean it has to be SF or LV. It could be any other city. What I was saying is that San Diego is MORE LIKELY than SF or LV. Why you may ask? Because the game is loosely based on Southern California. Therefore it would make more sense. I know it's not impossible for SF and LV, but the chances are LOWER. It could still be the largest and most ambitious game, but that doesn't mean they have to include the same fucking cities from a previous game, just because they were there before. For all we know, "largest and most ambitious" could be entirely based on things to do in the game, mechanics and graphics. However it could also have something to do with the map, but who knows for certain.
  11. That reminds me of the days I used to play Zoo Tycoon, and I always placed random guests into the tank full of vicious man eating great white sharks.
  12. Possibly golden guns, I mean they were in Max Payne 3, and from the trailer it's evident gun attachments are available (supressor on the AK), so maybe golden guns will be too. Seems to be a popular thing to do, these days.
  13. Yeah it is true that San Diego is similar to Los Angeles. But it would be a lot more realistic and logical than any other city. To me, and I'm guessing most people, "reimagined" signifies different versions of various things associated with the area, or whatever it is that is reimagined. Not completely different cities that should be there just because.... They were in the last game. Anyway, I think I'll stop posting on this topic because both of you are positive that San Fierro and Las Venturas will be in the game, simply because they were in the last game set in the state of San Andreas. Good day, fine gentlemen.

  15. What possible reason would there be to include Chicago? Seriously, by reimagined I'm almost 100% sure they don't mean to add a large city on the east coast which could have it's own game.

    Tattoos

I'm planning on getting a tattoo when I become an adult. Probably somewhere on my upper arm/ torso, so it's not seen when I'm going for a job interview. Maybe a wolf/tiger or a dragon, or some cool shit like that. Preferably something non-gang affiliated so I don't get killed.
  17. Probably some. But with 100% east asian parents, that then moved to San Francisco or another place in Calfornia, having kids there and not passing on the language.
  18. Definitely, I can't see how shooting down some planes is harder than flying across the city in a shitty, hard to control plane trying to take out vans... while on a fuel limit.
  19. Shot in the shoulder, collapse to the ground into a flexible mess, hovering around until you reach an area where you can stand up in, only to get shot by an automatic rifle again and again. Yup, sounds fantastic.
  20. I don't want the antagonist to be some down syndrome retard, that would suck. He should be intelligent and deceptive, and a real asshole like Tenpenny, as I said before. Someone that you just feel like slowly murdering for being such an asshole, even though they're just a fictional character in the game.
  21. What I meant was, I don't think it's possible to include 3 large scale cities, in full detail. And we're heading back to the state of San Andreas, not the game. It could just be a part of San Andreas, rather than the whole state. The map was also more realistic than any other GTA before, obviously because it was part of the next generation. I'm also not saying they will only include Los Santos, because that's pretty obvious. What I'm saying is that it's more likely to include a version of San Diego in a GTA version of Southern California rather than SF and LV.
  22. How the hell is it probable? Because you think so? Because from my understanding (correct me if I'm wrong) San Francisco and Las Vegas aren't part of Southern California, or the surrounding areas of Los Angeles. How is it probable that they will return? There is no evidence or suggestion whatsoever indicating that they will, so please, enlighten me on why they will return. Well, it says reimagined southern california... Who says how far they can reimagine it. I dont know how you can go back to san andreas, without going back to san andreas. The liscense plates say san andreas.... Yeah, I guess it depends entirely on your own opinion on how far Rockstar will "re-imagine" Southern California. If GTA IV is any clue, they're heading for a somewhat realistic approach, further decreasing the chances of SF and LV. And even if they did, each city would have to be substantially smaller than if only LS and 1 more were included, or they would have to greatly cut back on a lot of detail.
  23. Of course graphics are important, but saying "X game is better than Y game because it has better graphics" deserves a punch in the face. I can still enjoy playing San Andreas' story now, even though the graphics are so bad. Same with World Of Warcraft, the graphics aren't good at all, but it's such a fun game so it doesn't really matter. What is needed is a balance between good graphics, and good gameplay. Personally would rather sacrifice graphics to hae better gameplay (AC III) than have phenomenal graphics but not having good game playe.
  24. Really doubt that will happen for the single player, GTA has always aimed to immerse you into someone elses story; making your own character wouldn't allow them to go into as much depth. Also, as mentioned above: protagonist = playable character antagonist = protagonist's main enemy
  25. Yeah that's what I've been trying to say. How the hell is it probable? Because you think so?
