I think that's what every game developer does... Looks back and sees what was good/bad, and tries to change it if it's a good idea. Unless it's a game made purely to generate millions using the same shit every year *coughcallofdutycough* Yea, i agree, but if you look at GTA sa, and GTA 4, in my opinion there was hardly any good things from the previous title. I mean, there were some great new things, but not very many of the things we all loved from SA. So i guess they did look back at some other titles, but they must have skimmed through a lil bit To be fair stuff from GTA SA probably couldn't be recreated in IV; back then the whole engine and shit was completely new so they were extremely limited. It was like a beta test for the upcoming GTA V, where they've had a lot more time to develop the engine.

That makes little to no sense at all. Could you enlighten us to why you would want fire ants? Moths? and all those other ridiculous animals. Alsations, tigers, leopards, cheetahs, gorrillas... really?

what the fuck? i played ALOT of gta 4 and i dont remember tripping on venom. He probably means alcohol.

Gta V likely for March 2013

Okay, I'll be the first to take your copy when it doesn't release this year -
Hope they don't bring bullet time to this game, I'm tired of seeing it now in games such as RDR (well Dead Eye but it still slows things down) Max Payne, Sniper Elite V2, Agent. I think they'll include the weapon wheel though, I hope so anyway because it works well in RDR and Max Payne 3. Yup, there's definitely no reason what so ever to switch back to the old way of doing it.

Would You Pay Full Price LV & SF
Rayge replied to Qdeathstar's topic in GTA 5 Pre-Release Discussion (Closed)
Very true, but from what we've seen so far they actually put a lot of effort into GTA DLC. MP3 DLC map packs are...meh, like the Assassins Creed sequence ones, and all map packs essentially. -
Would You Pay Full Price LV & SF
Rayge replied to Qdeathstar's topic in GTA 5 Pre-Release Discussion (Closed)
Definitely would pay for that. After a few months there would probably be a "3 in 1"pack for like, $150. Not that I would wait that long, obviously. -
Goddamn who's voting for more force? Do I seriously deserve to be treated equal to a violent killer when I resist arrest? 6 stars or 2 stars, overkill is just the same.

225% missions that GTA IV had... so that's roughly, 214 missions in total... And the map was 3x bigger than GTA IV, which was 15.3km^2 (random google source) which would make it 50km^2 in total.... roughly 1.5x as big as JC2's map, in full detail HD detail with huge living cities... Gahd-dayum! There goes 1,000 10,000 hours of my life. -
WARNING! Impending pointless DLC apocalypse is almost upon us! Some people may like it, but I think I'll pass on it.

A huge mall with no loading screens, full of actual usual shops would be fantastic. Of course so would killing countless amounts of people, but that's what everyone was already thinking as soon as the word "mall" is mentioned.

What are you looking for in GTA5?
Rayge replied to Qdeathstar's topic in GTA 5 Pre-Release Discussion (Closed)
That could easily be incorporated... Assuming the game reaches the border, or at least as south of Los Santos "and the surrounding areas" as possible, the character could easily pick people up there, avoiding police patrol then driving them caferfully without arousing suspicion to their destination... e.g in the trunk. Speaking of that, we should be able to shove random people in the trunk... Like in Sleeping Dogs. -
Would You Pay Full Price LV & SF
Rayge replied to Qdeathstar's topic in GTA 5 Pre-Release Discussion (Closed)
So bascially you're asking if we would pay full price for 3 games... I would, if I had the cash then and there. That would really piss me off, if they forced you to buy some DLC in order to finish the story. -
If there is a prison, inmates should be fighting. What prison doesn't have inmates fighting? Would be cool if there was a riot in one mission, somehow. No showers though, that's not necessary...

What area of Los Santos will be restricted?
Rayge replied to TheClip's topic in GTA 5 Pre-Release Discussion (Closed)
I think some areas should be locked off, so everything is not available at the beginning of the game. Like some side missions relate to a specific storyline mission, which could be triggered when you do the story mission in one area, leading you to the side missions allowing you to unlock them all over. -
What will you be doing
Rayge replied to tomvercetti's topic in GTA 5 Pre-Release Discussion (Closed)
If they completely remap the game it's unlikely, but there will probably be a "Ganton" area. Who knows, they might keep it in as an easter egg. That would be great. -
I really like the game, it's fun to play and not as crazy as SR, but not as serious as GTA IV. One problem I found annoying though was not being able to behold weapons. Guns are rare in Hong Kong I know, but even knives would've been nice to keep rather than being used to slash 6 times then thrown on the ground... Also the parkour is awesome but there are some areas that make you go "really?" when Wei can easily scale a wall far taller than him yet he fails to climb a tiny ledge because of invisible walls.

What a brilliant place to run around torching people alive with a flamethrower!

What are you looking for in GTA5?
Rayge replied to Qdeathstar's topic in GTA 5 Pre-Release Discussion (Closed)
You my friend, should try out the game "Sleeping Dogs" it's exactly what you suggested, also in an open sandbox world. I also think that is a great idea, really hope vaulting and climbing is incorporated. -
n0 l04d1n9 5cr33n5 pl0x? Just kidding, but that would be great. Anyway, I really hope there are a variety of safehouses like in San Andreas. From penthouses and mansions to rundown apartments in the projects, rife with crime.

Rayge replied to TheClip's topic in GTA 5 Pre-Release Discussion (Closed)
It's not going to be the same map as in the III era Los Santos, so it'll be hard to tell. Most streets will likely have different names, and it'll be a lot larger than the tiny Los Santos of GTASA. -
African American is unlikely since they have already had that type of character. Most likely a latino american character will appear. They've already had numerous white protagonists, why can't they have more of another race? Besides, they had Luis in GTA IV TBOGT
