  1. I'd rather have activities like robbing banks, deliverin' kis, burglary and stuff like that to boost relationships with my criminal friends. A long with MX, parachuting and all that stuff as well, of course. But I wouldn't miss bowling, darts or comedy clubs tbh.
  2. Definitely a sawed-off shotgun from a car.
  3. Okay fair enough. But what I meant was that the trees look more like GTA IV trees than RDR trees. Maybe it's just that screenshot, who knows. RDR trees were a fantastic improvement, if they left them at that level it would be perfectly fine. The Palm trees of RDR for example; they look a lot better than the ones in the screenshot #2.
  4. The trees in the Cheetah screen look almost GTA 4 like, especially the leaves on the right side of the picture. Really hope they fix that, the trees looked like shit in IV.
  5. I sense this sidetracking into another generic "what do you want in GTA 5" post with the answers coming up. I'm sure Rockstar won't make your friends call every 5 minutes asking to do boring stuff, it got a lot of complaints and there would be no reason to keep it.
  6. Being set in Los Santos, I can almost guarantee a spanish radio station, similar to San Juan or whatever it was called in SA.
  7. In case you for whatever reason didn't see the other 5 screenshots, they were action packed with "leisure" activities; just to name a few; biking, parachuting, motorcross racing, street racing (presumably), flying planes, which are fun when done alone, or even with a friend. I suspect they are releasing screenshots in "themes". Currently it's the leisure and stuff like that, maybe next it will be crime, or combat or whatever else the game has to offer. Just wait and see.
  8. I'd sure give it a try, maybe it will be fun. But to me, Motorcross through vast countryside, parachuting, flying aeroplanes and biking in the city are far more appealing.
  9. So now that the 6 new screenshots have released, has anyones opinions changed? I would say none of the characters clearly visible (MX guys, guy parachuting, guy biking or tennis players) look like Ned Luke. They may of course just be random peds. Can't really make a pod analysis here on holiday with no computer, I'll see in 3 days what I actually think.
  10. Because realistically, people would shrink down to fit in the laundry machine and wait passively for you to close the hatch and turn the machine on.
  11. Good thing you added that last part, I heard cabins can be very sensitive about those kinds of things. This cabin has been neglected by it's owners maybe even raped, it's a sad sight.
  12. The whole star system would have to be remade in that case. It's 3 stars for killing a cop, and I really, really really doubt cops would continue to try taze you when you're massacring them. I think it should be roughly like this: 1 star : can easily bribe the cops or go to jail peacefully. Resist arrest, and they just chase you. 2 star: can bribe the cops, but it would be expensive. Resist arrest, and they try to taze you. instead of shooting you to death like in IV. 3 star: Can't bribe cops, Cops start shooting 4 star: helicopters, boats and NOOSE 5 star: FIB 6 star: Military That's just a rough idea for the system that I think would work well.
  13. Yes, because laws dictate black people can't wear khaki shorts and visors. It's illegal.
  14. Doubt Rockstar would even consider inviting Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, One Direction or any of those types of musicians to be in GTA V.
  15. I heard once that a pedestrian got brutally run over by a car, so in GTA V you shouldn't be able to run people over. Seriously, it's just a game. Yes, the Aurora shooting was a massive tragedy, but that doesn't mean game designers should never be able to design scenes that take place in theaters in case they offend someone. Especially Rockstar, they've been through so much shit already.
  16. You're retarded. < Don't flame Forum Rules Of course they won't use the same map as Vice City, they will obviously make it bigger. New York City is only one environment, and they based IV's LC off that and it was quite big. They don't always have to go bigger. They could do the exact same thing in Vice City - make a large city, a smaller one, and finally some beaches and marshlands. Or create a new State where VC is located - there's so much they could do in a Florida setting. The fact you thought that leads me to believe you think GTA V's map will be the same as San Andreas' map. Please tell me I'm wrong.
  17. I'm almost sure damage to all the people and animals in the game will be like in Max Payne 3 and RDR. Actual bullet holes and wounds from different weapons. Could still be improved, but that will be the most basic form most likely. Good enough in my opinion.
  18. It was funny how in IV you could punch an ambulance until it exploded...
  19. Exactly. If he does turn out to be the protagonist, many will know him as Ned Luke rather than the actual characters name. If so, it would've probably been smarter to release his name at the same time.
  20. Character physics were fine in RDR. But car physics should definitely be improved. Also there should be more destructible items, like fences, railings, trees, benches, too some extent small buildings (like a shack), some walls and stuff like that. Just to add some more realism, but not too much so you can't do all those epic stunts and such.
  21. Would be cool if there was more than just rain. Doubt it will snow, but I think there could still be snow in the game. Not snowing, but just there on the mountains. It would be cool if rain turned the desert sand into mud, and small things like that.
  22. Luckily GTA is freeroam, so it would be very unlikely they release "ultra new exclusive map packs for only $10!". Those types of DLC are complete shit in my opinion, for any game. Didn't bother with them in MP3, won't for GTA. That's just me though, some people may enjoy them. What I'm hoping for is DLCs like TBOGT and TLAD. They were successful and extremely well made, especially for DLC. If Rockstar learnt from it, they'll probably go down that route again. Only thing I'm not looking forward to is Microsoft paying for 30 day exclusive, or more... I loved Undead Nightmare for RDR because it played on that cheesy early 20th century horror type atmosphere. Guess it would be fun in GTA, but then it would just be like every other zombie game in the world - One guy in an abandoned city full of zombies trying to survive. But I'm confident Rockstar could change it up if they decided zombies was the way to go.
  23. It's bigger than LC, but nowhere was it said that it was X amount of times bigger. "they are returning in what is our biggest open world game to date" - http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/36881/asked-answered-max-payne-3-and-grand-theft-auto-v.html Could mean it's the biggest map to date, making it larger than what I believe is the biggest so far, RDR. Or it could mean it's packed with a lot of content and stuff to do. Either way, it sounds fantastic.
  24. I wouldn't want 1 star for speeding if it still lead to being arrested, only if it was a fine.
