  1. I reckon Rockstar will take a lot of heat and will loose a lot of sales if they make it digital copy only. Yeah technology is advancing and more media is online these days, but "if it's not broken, don't fix it".
  2. Definitely play San Andreas, it's great because there's so much to do. Same in Vice City, but I prefer the setting and culture of SA. Anyway, I want to see the military come at you in tanks, helicopters and Humvees. They also need to be more intelligent, the cops in IV were fucking retards.
  3. Get out of your basement then and go live real life. I play GTA to take out frustrations and have fun, not to file taxes and pay for gas. Well to some extent he has a point, I mean when was the last time you murdered someone in real life? Or blew up a car? Or jumped out of an exploding plane? Yeah, filling your tank is a step down from those events, and is quite a weak argument, but still I think I can see kind of what he means.
  4. In my opinion the number of safe-houses should correlate with the size of the city. I mean, if it's "very big" as Dan Houser says, maybe a few more than 3 should be in the main city, so there's one pretty much nearby wherever you are. I don't want to have to drive for to the complete opposite side of the map to go to the closest safehouse, like in GTA IV. There were like 4 safehouses at the end of the game (correct me if I'm wrong) And they were all in the northern part of the map. I hope GTA V isn't like this, with all the houses in one general location, because then it doesn't matter how many safehouses there are.
  5. Yeah so it's obviously not him, as has been mentioned about 359,745,645 times already.
  6. Yeah I hope buildings are more accessible and they don't just have a 2d picture of the interior.
  7. I hope he didn't, no one in the trailer looked really bad-ass in my opinion.
  8. It would be best if it was optional. It seems fun at first, but then after a while it could probably get a little bit boring.
  9. Speaking of that, I hope there are gyms (or other methods) in which you can learn new fighting techniques like in San Andreas, and then change back and forth to whichever one you want to use whenever.
  10. If Rockstar put out two huge titles in the same year when they've delayed both (which means they probably need work) chances are they'd be rushing it and we'd get a shit game. Rockstar have their methods and they work. Name the last shit Rockstar game (I'd call IV Shit (aside from LATD) but thats only compared to the earlier GTA offerings.) Well I imagine they must have started working on V just after IV came out, or even during the end stages of it. That means they've had like, 4-5 years already? I doubt the game would be "shit" if they released it late this year, say Oct/Nov.
  11. The gameplay and graphics most likely. "Graphics don't make a game" I know, but why would you play a game with shitty graphics when there are better games focused on the same type of gameplay, like the GTA III-IV era.
  12. Yes, but I would much prefer going to the store and getting a sweet case with all the cover art etc... and a disc.
  13. I highly doubt R* would ever put mythical animals into a GTA game lol bears however, that could happen since the countryside looks huge! I know RDR isn't GTA, but it isn't based on fairy tales either. And in RDR there are unicorns, chupacabras, zombies, bigfoots, and tonnes of zombie animals. I think it would be cool if there was bigfoot in GTA V, if he was very elusive and hard to find. It would be like SA, except with a real bigfoot.
  14. Regardless, there will be tonnes of guns everywhere, like in the real LA where there are loads of illegal guns. I would like to see ammu-nation though, but it would be fine if it's the underground street dealers again.
  15. Yeah Co-op, like there is in Saints Row 3 would be pretty cool
  16. I wouldn't mind the release date being next year, as long as they announce it soon so we have something to look forward to. It's been over 3 months without information, it's getting kind of slow.
  17. A different city from Los Santos? That is 100% confirmed not to happen. Or maybe you mean another town in addition to LS? Then yeah, that is probably going to happen; hopefully a version of San Diego
  18. They will most likely spoof all the major media events of 11/12, probably even the end of the world theory.
  19. I hope there is a "street thug life in the ghetto projects" DLC where you play that type of character, just to get that classic LA Gang feel in the game. Obviously you didn't even bother completing TBoGT, as you would've noticed you can call your friend Armando to bring his gun van to nearby.
  20. As I mentioned before somewhere, what I'm looking for is a huge variety of melee weapons. Maybe even being able to pick up pipes, bricks etc... off the ground and use them. And as for set melee weapons, I would like to see these: -knife -baseball bat -machete -cleaver -hatchet -chainsaw -kantana -knuckle duster (w/ knife) -sledgehammer -steel pipe and some sort of projectile that doesn't shoot bullets, like a nailgun. I would love to shoot someone with a nailgun and watch them slowly die with a nail in their forehead. Also throwing knives.
  21. Pretty good choices, but maybe more suited for a game more focused on nature, like RDR. How would dolphins, rays, sharks, pets and flies fit into the setting? How could you even see a detailed fly in the game? And personally I don't think pets are a good idea for GTA. I like the idea of "street" dogs though, and the different animals in different climates.
  22. Yeah, I hope you can turn your phone off and just ignore everyone if you want, or if you feel like going out turn on your phone and get invited by 20 different friends in the span of 5 seconds...
  23. It will be called Los Santos, but based off of modern day, 2012 LA most likely.
  24. In my opinion that's a terrible idea, you wouldn't feel connected to the character itself, everyone would have a different version, and the game would be like Saint's Row. That's not bad, but as GTA is more serious it's better to stick to one, single protagonist. If you could choose his race, they wouldn't be able to include the character's history and past as detailed as they can if he is one person only.
