    I've noticed TV and FLIR devices on a few other helicopters in screenshots/caps. Doesn't mean, of course, that they'll be operable, though. The Police Maverick and Annihilator in IV had nose-mounted cameras and radomes and they weren't functional. Can't wait to find out for sure in a few months. 7 weeks 7 Weeks?! *looks at calendar* You jerk, it's 8 weeks away...

    As per usual, IGN cocked up during their analysis of the screens... They didn't even remember Love Fist from Vice City (without looking it up first), and kept referring to Kent Paul as "Lazlow". That's after they confessed to being "GTA experts"...

    As I mentioned a few posts up, GTAIV's multiplayer info was expanded upon a month and a half from the release date. Since we're exactly a month and a half away this coming week, I really hope the info dump is due... (fingers crossed) Although, if the marketing is anything like RDR, we may get multiplayer info the following week (think August 7th). Although, RDR released the achievement list and had hands on gameplay by this point...

    I'm not sure how Lazlow (that's how you spell it, guys) will end up in San Andreas again, since he was kicked out of Los Santos between 1992 and 1998, but as a fan favourite and a staple of GTA radio, he'd have to make a return. Let's also no forget that in IV his radio career was in the toilet... Also, for those few who weren't aware, Lazlow is one of Rockstar's main writers and Sound Developers, so needless to say he IS involved in V...

    Several people actually believe that this is the official map. Quite possibly due to Stick Skills posting it under the heading "GTA V Official World Map" a while ago. Since they've posted this ridiculous story, they've updated it to say "this isn't actually the official map, but QUOTE: this is the result of one person scrounging the Internet for every single piece." If you read further into the article, you'll notice that the "journalist" says he doesn't notice any similarities to the San Andreas map, largely due to the fact that he hasn't played it! http://stickskills.com/2013/06/02/complete-grand-theft-auto-v-map-revealed/

    It doesn't actually say that in the official description. Also, the Examiner is referencing an article from a different website which appears to have edited the official description for some reason. ALSO, if you still don't believe me, you can scroll down the iGTA5 newsfeed until you reach June 26th (yes a month ago) you'll see Brady Games original description for their V guide, which hasn't changed from the current version.     Do you think Taxi rides will make a return? Sure, we've seen taxi's, but do you think they'll have the same feature as IV? Surely, since it seems to be a staple of open world games now, along with the fact that there's bus tours...

    Oh well... Edit: Notice Rockstar's information dumps recently? They'll go for 8 days or so without releasing any info on V, then give info on one big day, then go quiet for weeks. This seems to be related to the upcoming release, since they used to post on the newsfeed quite regularly when there's no release coming up...

    These guys are so spot on with the map now (I feel) that I avoid looking at any newer designs just to avoid spoiling the actual map!

    I've already paid up my pre-order, a whole $160 for the CE, most of which I put down LAST November. I had already arranged in advance with the shop to get the best edition if one was announced. Works for me!

    Multiplayer details revealed: March 14th. GTA 4 released: April 28th. That's nearly a month and a half before, not three weeks, pal.

    Evidently the timing of summer is horribly inconsistent among nations. My US-centric mind can barely comprehend such a thing... Wow, no kidding! It looks like in parts of the US, summer ends on the first weekend of September, which happens to be September 1st. With GTA IV, we only saw multiplayer details roughly a month before release, so as you said, it could be anywhere from now to about August 19th (or later!) But from what we've been lead to believe, there's going to be a lot happening in GTA Online, so I'm sure we'll see a magazine preview or gameplay video on it soonish...

    My guess is that you can only use one safehouse per protagonist, and the ones you can purchase are only investments (as in you rent them out for monies).

    Wha??? Since when did summer (US) end on September 21st? In the real world, summer ends on August 31st...

    Yeah but I don't think Rockstar molds their games around how much money they can make from it.. That's true, but I doubt that they'd overlook the issue either... On that note, there aren't any GTA games so far where the protagonist has used any sort of drugs. The closest was when Vic Vance was covered with cocaine, but he was by far the most anti-drug character in the whole franchise.

    The game would be banned in Australia if that was the case. I doubt Rockstar would take that risk, given we're like the third or second highest market.
