yeah assault, that was my fav map too!. haven't played CS since the days of 1.6 and condition zero so big jump for me too. I'll prob be getting it on ps3 just so it runs as good as possible, my pc isn't built for games. But with cross platform we can all jump in a game anyway right ?

does it have some of the old maps ? I can't remember the name of them but the one where, you start off next to a police van, and there's a tower you can climb that looks over to a giant warehouse with big cargo containers in it ? And you can enter that building through the vents lol ? also can you use a keyboard and mouse with this game on the ps3 ?

so with GTA being all in-engine visuals it would be like a decade before it would look like this lol ?

yeah your review that it feels like a reskinned SR3 is enough for me not to buy it. Other mainstream reviews made it seem like a really good game.

Hi. Thought I'd post this on here since this is the only forum that I use. And the only one without any arguing, fanboyism, and general talking of shit about games. Its a well moderated site. Anyway, few questions/wonders about the next stage of gaming. Are we going to notice such a massive difference in terms of the graphics in the next console? Or are we in a stage of HD that everything is going to be pretty much the same, with some improvements. I expect after a few years into the next cycle, then the graphics will greatly improve, like they did with this generation. It's still going to be for HD tv's so am I being stupid in expecting it not to improve greatly that I'll go "Wow", like I did when moving from PS2 to PS3? Is anyone expecting them to do away with hard retail copies entirely? Because I know I don't want to really spend hours downloading the games I want to play. And if that happened, it would seriously put me off gaming entirely. Can't really think on anything else to wonder about just now.

Mafia II was an open-world game where you got to meet interesting people from another era and… well, shoot them. Oh, and swear at them as well, since it currently holds the record for most profanity in a game. The Mafia franchise remains 2K Czech's only console franchise, and apparently a follow-up to the series will be coming. Just not to this current console generation. According to Czech gaming journalists, Mafia 3 will be an early title for next-generation systems. It was intended to be a launch title, but due to staffing issues, it's been delayed to make sure it's done properly. Beyond that there's little detail, especially about the story. But considering the franchise switched protagonists, locations, and time periods between sequels a change could well be in the works. Especially interesting are rumors that 2K Czech and Rockstar have been working on some aspects of Grand Theft Auto V and trading secrets and design ideas. Considering Mafia was obviously heavily inspired by Grand Theft Auto, that makes for a pretty interesting rumor. Hopefully however it won't involve taking annoying people out for hamburgers.
