  1. What do you think Friedlander was referring to in the "creepy with women" comment?
  2. I have no idea where I should stick this (other than the obvious choice), so here will suffice. The following video contains minor spoilers from the film The Usual Suspects. If you haven't seen the movie, watch the vid at your own discretion. I really hope we'll be given free reign as to how to tackle armored cars in GTAO. The restricted planning of V's heists was somewhat disappointing. Should we, the players, be granted absolute freedom in planning our scores (big and small) in GTAO, this game will boast infinite replay value. Rant aside, I'd love to replicate this scene for fun and profit when 10/1 rolls around.
  3. Bri, you were supposed to post the one from the end of the game, not the real-life report.
  4. He doesn't come to your street performances and tell you how to fondle unwilling octogenarians, does he?!
  5. To elaborate on what Junis asked, how much freedom and carte blanche will we have in planning heists? In addition, what will the alternate opportunities for moneymaking be, aside from heists? Are armored cars rolling about the city, waiting to be pillaged?
  6. If you'd like to access it with more flair and adrenaline, parachute/land an aircraft on the one in the sky and hit Triangle/Y.
  7. Trevor walking amidst several pedestrians, then suddenly jumping in an old woman's face and giving her an "ooga-booga-boo".
  8. Yup, it's realistic in that regard. LA traffic is a massive cunt.
  9. Oops. I've misunderstood you. I wouldn't mind either of those scenarios. GTA hasn't dealt with the Mexican gangs too much. Like you said, they're the most interesting, so it's surprising that the MS-13 and their atrocities haven't been parodied in any way. No matter how good the pay is?
  10. This would completely defeat the revolutionary, vastly entrepreneurial theme of GTA V that Rockstar have spent the last two years touting. The game focuses on the pursuit of the almighty dollar. To me, "pursuit" describes something more than punching in a credit card number and hitting Buy Now. "Pursuit" refers to meticulously planning elaborate, daring heists and enjoying the satisfaction of executing them. To go from the painstakingly player-driven experience of moneymaking to being able to achieve the same boast-worthy bankroll with a total lack of skill, participation, or effort would be a step down and a letdown. It'd be pointless, it'd be futile, and above all, it'd be un-Rockstar-like. I can't see them doing this.
  11. Isn't that redundant? The cartels would make for some great DLC, but unfortunately, none of the three characters would suit the territory (geographically or criminally speaking) that the cartels operate in. Rockstar would have to have some pretty clever writers to explain why a young black kid is in the central Mexican states taking down and bargaining with massive cartels.
  12. Wouldn't the entirety of the "Missions" forum suffice just as well?
  13. Some incredibly small ones count towards the challenge. Similarly, some of the more obvious and imposing bridges count, too. For good measure, re-do all of the ones in LS and see if there are any you missed.
  14. Very reminiscent of Wonder if that nod was intentional?
  15. ^That. No matter what I set my heart to do in this game, I will inevitably get distracted by some piece of scenery I hadn't noticed before, some random event, or something shiny.
  16. I am very disappointed in the lack of a crouch function.
  17. Wow, that's incredible that R* would throw a nod to Brad in their game. Can't wait to see that.
  18. Everything has far surpassed my expectations. Good God, this is a work of art. I have no idea how they'll top something of this magnitude five, six years down the line.
  19. You've taken role reversal to a frightening new level.
  20. You're welcome. You may be able to find a used version of the Limited Edition strategy guide floating around on the interwebz somewhere, if you'd like the artwork/super-prestigious hardcover rendition.
  21. These are from the Limited Edition version of the strategy guide.
  22. Yeah, I'd entered from the east on the access road in search of that entrance you described. No luck finding it. Next time I'm on the west side of the map, I'll look harder. Dying to know what's hidden away in there.
