    I haven't lost any cars from my garages, but I did lose my orange and cream Vapid Dominator (which I couldn't get a picture of) when . I think the general consensus at the moment would be to not bother customizing anything outside of the character vehicles until the problem is solved and/or patched.

    I don't have a problem with the white dot, but that's probably because I'm playing 3ft away from a 32inch screen. My eyes! I can imagine a lot of people are going to struggle with the firing range using the white dot, especially with the moving targets. I've only been able to get a couple of gold medals.

    Well, the app is kind of working for me now. I went for the sign up option instead of trying to sign in, and it launched into the app with my social club username already logged in. Weird I ordered my "H4NDSOME" plate. I originally ordered 'Handsome', but that was before the app fucked up. When I tried entering it this time, it said it was taken. So in a way, I think I screwed myself out of the plate I wanted. XD I was hoping you could have an individual plate for each character, but it looks like you get the same plate across all 3. There also doesn't seem to be an option to change it, so guys, choose carefully.

    ^I'm hoping more customization options will be added to the game once GTA online comes out. 5 haircuts each for Michael and Trevor is just not good enough.

    Amen, brother. IMO, the soundtrack is pretty poor. My gripes include: -The rock station is more yacht rock than K-DST, although I've always got time for Alan Parsons Project. - The pop station was bearable the first time I listened to it. Now it seems every second car is tuned into it. If I hear 'Gimme More' one more time.... - There's no metal, there's no rnb -The reggae station sucks (compared to previous GTAs) - Radio Los Santos is pants. - The country station sucks compared to K-Rose. The only song I've enjoyed so far is Convoy. - Flylo is balls. as is the dance music station - There's only one talkback station. - Did we really need 2 indie stations? - Did R* seriously think anyone would listen to the Mexican station? The only stations I regularly listen to are West coast classics, the funk station (the one with Eddie Murphy and Rick James), and the rock station. Half the time, I just turn the radio off. Hopefully R* can release some radio DLC, because I'm already sick of most of it, and the games only been out 2 days.

    ^I kind of agree with your point you had. Although I'm by no means anti-smartphone, I think a feature like custom plates, which is first in first served, should have been added to the social club instead (or in game), so everyone could use it. The app is so gimped, I can't even tell if my plates that it said I'd ordered actually registered or not. I got a message from LS customs saying something was ready for my Buffalo, but I went there and nothing happened. Has anyone here actually got any custom plates?

    I have a few - Character switching. It's such a great feature, and it's got me out of quite a few tight situations. It never feels like a prolonged loading time, either. Which is more than can be said about the game map. - Random encounters. One of my favourite features in RDR is a whole lot better in this game. The fact you can just walk away if you don't feel like doing anything is great as well. - Car customization. I especially enjoy finding old rust buckets that barely move and pimping them out. I can't wait to unlock some of the larger garages so I can get really in-depth. Hopefully the social club/ifruit start working properly soon so I can whack my custom number plates on. I'd say combat is also one of my favourite features, but I think the cover system lets it down.

    This. I just tested that theory in my previous post, and I think I'm right. Regardless of whether the car is bought or stolen, if you enter a location (go inside a garage, paint shop etc), or switch character before you get an impounded message on your phone, that car will disappear for good. Might as well save money, because there doesn't seem to be any perks to buying cars, especially if they are going to disappear into fat air.. Can someone else with the PS3 version check this out. I have the 360 version.

    Same shit happened to me! Found a Phoenix(man that car is rare) and pimped it for Trevor, started mission, never saw it again. The thing is, you can't buy the Phoenix. But another time I stole a Vapid, tuned it and it got impounded... really weird. hmm... this has me thinking. Once, I turned up at Franklin's garage to store a car, and I got a message saying it was full. I left my car outside and went in to take one of the others out. When I got back outside, the first car had disappeared. So I went back into the garage, thinking it may have been automatically moved back in there, but there was nothing. I took out another car, and the second car I had taken out had disappeared also. I have a theory that entering internal locations that require loading causes the game to forget where all non-essential cars are located. Your stolen car can be impounded, but it will only be impounded if the game isn't required to load a location or switch character before you are notified that your car has been impounded. If you don't get the notice before loading, then it's bye-bye car. I guess it's a glitch that R* will want to fix soon. Or just a crackpot theory. I'm off to test it now.

    I've read reports that people's bought cars are sometimes disappearing out of their garage. Sounds like the GTA:SA glitch may strike again lol

    Yeah. I'm really surprised by how the bikes handle as well. I have a custom bike with turbo and a racing engine (max acceleration), and I managed to drive from one side of LS to the other without hitting another vehicle.

    I think you press left on the dpad after you've thrown it onto an object. I could be wrong about that.

    I think the difference between buying cars and stealing them is bought cars get impounded if you lose them,whereas stolen vehicles disappear into the abyss if you don't store them in a garage. I learnt this the hard way when I spent about $50000 decking out a ruster Phoenix I found in the desert for Trevor, only for it to disappear after a mission. Boy was I pissed. And the sweet photos I took of it wouldn't load either. RIP aluminium silver with red stripe Phoenix. We hardly knew thee.

    I dived underwater for the first time about a hour ago. Fucking nope. Murky as shit down there. And I was only about 15 metres away from a pier.

    The bloody lanes in Los Santos. They cause the GPS to go wacky in some areas. You think you're in the lane to go straight ahead. Nope,left turn only. You think you're in the lane to go right. Nope, merge with the left lane, sucker. I don't dislike them that much, but they can be annoying when you're trying your hardest not to crash into other cars. Also, apart from the hip-hop channels and the rock channel, I'm not really enjoying the in game radio. P.S - I was so pissed that there wasn't a proper manual with the game. Biggest letdown in GTA history for me.

    My first impressions. Everything is so bright and colourful compared to IV. They've finally made strip clubs an interesting place to hang out. Tennis is great fun (can't wait to play it in GTA online). The ocean is immense. I'm too chicken to go diving underwater yet. I've noticed a couple of odd glitches , but nothing that would affect enjoyment of the game. I love all of the main characters (I think Michael is my favourite atm). Having the internet on your phone is great. The radio selection wheel works really well. It tells you which song is currently playing on each channel, which is a nice feature.

    I find the handling is good. Sports cars seem to handle like they did in San Andreas, in that you don't feel like at every turn they will send you into the nearest wall like some cars in IV. Traffic AI seems to be a bit better though, which probably makes hooning around easier, as you don't have dickheads pulling in front of you every 10 seconds. I have noticed the same cars seem to spawn quite often. I saw about 8 Bullets in 1 block.

    I think our board have had unrealistic expectations of what our team can achieve ever since Leigh Matthews left. Signing Brendan Fevola was the height of the madness, hopefully.

    Well, seeing as we have an AFL topic now, I believe it is only fair that I start a League topic so that I can discuss the finals series. Possibly with myself. Also, does anyone from the UK here actually pay any attention to the English Super League? I used to watch it all the time, but I don't get the chance to watch it these days. It's very rare that I have to sit through a finals series with no one to support (Broncos fan), but from what I've seen so far, it's been fairly entertaining, especially the Roosters-Manly game. The Cowboys got completely dudded by the ref in that game against the Sharks. Who the fuck can't count to 7? I'm hoping for a Roosters-Bunnies GF.

    Sadly, I'm a Brisbane Bears Lions fan. One day, we'll play exciting footy again. One day... I hope the Dockers can get up in the GF (if they make it), but I think they don't have the big game experience of the other 3 teams. P.S, Darth Sexy, if I recall correctly, is a Bombers fan. Which might be why we haven't seen him around in a while.
