Also, If you have an above average interest in the Elder Scrolls and Fallout series, and haven't got them on PC, I highly recommend the 360 versions of those games, as Bethesda has ongoing problems getting them to work properly on PS3. wow, San Andreas is AUD 21.99 on the Australian PSN. I read it's 14.99 in the US, which is expensive for there as well. Australia just gets the Joan Collins special. At least it got released on PSN here. For some reason, xbox live Australia won't sell SA in Australia. What are R* thinking? If the game had been remastered or in HD, I might have considered buying it.

So there are 3 or 4 large islands that are unreachable. I think there will be DLC for each one. Hopefully something involving dinosaurs. I think I heard a pirate mention something about them at one point, so it would kind of maybe make sense. It'd be so cool running around an island being being stalked by raptors, even if it was just really Jason running around on a bad acid trip killing chickens.

So, I'm starting another GOTY topic. I'm not going to bother with a poll this time. Top 5/10 lists are better anyway. Here's mine.. 10. Assassin's Creed 3 It didn't really do that much for me, but I loved the setting, and the naval battles were awesome. 9. Mass Effect 3 ​Once again, I preferred the games before it. It had it's moments, but it just was a let down for me, especially as it was the end of the trilogy. It only made my top 10 because the multiplayer was surprisingly fun, and Javik is a pimp. 8. Dragon's Dogma A flawed game, but the pawn system was unique, and I still go back to play it. Hopefully the sequel can expand on the many good ideas, and combat can reach Dark Souls standards. 7. The Darkness II Barely a 2012 game, I'd say it's also one of the most underrated games of the year. It's a bit short, but it's heaps of fun. 6. The Walking Dead Barely a game, but it tells a great story. All fans of the show should have played it by now. 5. Max Payne 3 Great presentation, and heaps of fun. I didn't think I would like it at first, but it grew on me. 4. Borderlands 2 So much to do, so many weapons. 3. Hitman: Absolution A good story, heaps of different ways to knock off people, and contracts are awesome. I thought it was going to be my GOTY until I played the next 2 games... 2. XCOM: Enemy Unknown That feeling when you lose a soldier who has been through 20+ missions. "Cpt Thunderstick! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!" To think you can spend ages getting you're shit in order and still lose is sweet/fucked depending on when you last saved. 1. Far Cry 3 What more to say about this that I already haven't mentioned in the topic? I've been playing for 2 weeks straight, and I'm still seeing new stuff. Now that it works, the multiplayer is surprisingly good. Co-Op is fun even when you play with strangers. I can not stress enough that everyone should buy this game. Now the top 10 is out of the way.. Honourable mentions Spec Ops: The Line Vice City 10th anniversary Most Overrated Game Dishonored. Too short, boring story, just not enjoyable. I've seen it win GOTY on a couple of sites now. How? Because it's a fps stealth game? If I wanted to play fps stealth with idiot AI, I'd play Skyrim. OHHHH SNAP! Game you were hoping would be good, but knew it wouldn't be Black Ops II. I only play the multiplayer to be social. The multiplayer was shit. I would rather be antisocial now.

Has anyone tried making their own music playlist yet? I made one, but every time I change the station or get out of the car, the playlist restarts. I don't know if the game is supposed to do that, or if it's a problem caused by me not syncing my phone. Hearing the beginning of "China Girl" start over and over is starting to get on my nerves. "oh-oh-oh-ohohhwoah, little China girl"

OMFG, the new patch is fucked. Multiplayer works now, but for some reason, corpses (animal and human) now disappear in 5-10 seconds. How the hell am I supposed to collect skins or loot bodies if the bloody corpses are gone before I get there? Shotgun everything? There's also a glitch that makes my weapon disappear off screen for a few seconds. How did they manage to make the game this glitchy AFTER a patch? UBISOFTTTTTTTT!!! *shakes fist*

It's not your connection, it's something an issue that Ubisoft are trying to fix, but not to much avail. On the Ubisoft forums there's a topic they posted about it.. I kind of miss the old Far Cry 2 map/GPS system too, the new HUD radar breaks the immersion a lot. I read somewhere that Ubisoft will be releasing a patch that will give you the option to turn the HUD off, as well as that bloody message telling you to go to the next mission every 3 minutes (whoever thought that was a good idea should be shot).

Yeah, I don't know if it's my connection, but I still haven't been able to play a multiplayer game. It just says searching for lobby all the time. Not that I care too much.

How far into the game are you? Because almost half the map is locked at the beginning of the game.

Sweet jebus, I can't recall the faggio being this hard to handle. I wish R* would have implemented the on-foot dpad for driving. I keep hitting both directions at the same time. Edit: I didn't realise you can resize the buttons. Also, I'm happy about being able to add a custom playlist Edit2: OMG OMG OMG I just picked up a hooker. After almost a week, I can safely say this is Game Of The Year. No contest. In fact, it's the best thing I've played since Fallout:New Vegas The first time I got taken by a croc is one of the best moments I've experienced as a gamer. Vaas is one of the best video game villains ever. The flame-fucking-thrower! If you can't tell, I love this game.
