I've been listening to a lot of VCS stuff lately.

If you're a fan of fps horror games, hard games, and particularly stealth games, I'd say pick this up. If you want to burn through games quickly, don't like stealth games, and can't handle games with lots of backtracking and manual saving, this probably isn't the game for you. I love it.

So, I've played about an hour of the game, and I had to stop. Fucking creepy as fuck. This game has some of the best sound design I've ever heard. I'll probably soil myself when I actually encounter the alien.

Yay, we can turn off 'double tap up for snapmatic' now. Apart from that, this is a pretty poor update. I'm not even going to bother trying out the new vehicles in single-player, they look that bad.

Ever since the update, the Crucible has turned into the biggest lag-fest I've ever played. Nearly every match, I can literally shoot someone for 5-10 seconds in the back, and they just turn around and one-shot me, regardless of their level or weapon. It's ridiculous.

I'm past the halfway point, and I have to say this game is the definition of average. Every goddamn mission is the same. Travel from A-B, Deploy ghost at B. Fight waves of enemies at B. Fight slightly bigger "boss". End mission. Wait 50 minutes to load to the tower/next mission. Strikes are about the same. Waves of enemies, and then a freaking bullet-sponge boss that takes forever to defeat. Multiplayer is ok, but only if you've leveled up a bit. The environments are good looking, but don't really encourage free-roam when all you can do is go around shooting more stuff. How about some mini-games or some hidden vendors? Once I'm done leveling up my warlock, I'm done, unless some drastic improvements are made. I see no reason in creating another class or race.

Nah. They introduced a "double tap d-pad up to quickly open instamatic" feature. I can see how it can be useful, but it's a hinderance to those of us with sensitive d-pads. Hopefully, R* will introduce an option to turn it off (if it's not already there). I found a minor glitch today. I've noticed that whenever I go on call, the radio skips to a totally different track on the same station. I was listening to Wham, damn you! On a positive note, I'm loving how easy it is to make cash now. I did "the blow up II" on hard on my own and made 14k. I only needed to use 2 grenades. Easy money.

Goddamn shooting range in the flight school is difficult. I barely hit 2 targets before crashing the buzzard in frustration. I gave up.

Some people found those songs in the trackID.gtx2 database (whatever that is). Whether the songs were removed before release or intended for dlc is unknown. imo, a lot of the cut songs are better than what ended up in the game. Oasis, Bob Dylan, Jamiroquai, Jackson 5... FFS R*

I've been listening to GTA V's cut music recently. Such a shame they didn't include at least some of these songs. Maybe DLC one day? Those non-stop pop and LSRR lists..

^lol Listened to the new Judas Priest. Meh. Bad news, analog. Hannes Grossmann and Christian Muenzner have left Obscura. Hannes didn't like the direction of the new music (apparently it was similar to Cosmogenesis), and Christian felt he couldn't perform Obscura material live without worsening his hand condition. I'd like to suggest Muhammed Suicmez as new guitarist.
