but you can dick around in free roam as your character? Nope. Waited a while longer but was still saying 'launching session' so gave up. Now getting a message saying servers unavailable. I'm getting the same message, I can't go online or in solo mode, and my character has gone now from the character wheel. The odd time I do get on it takes me to the character creation page, and tells me to create one. Hope mine isn't lost. I was playing online with it today, and there were about 8 others in the game with me, it stayed on for a good 4 hours, then I stupidly came off for a while, and not been able to get back on for the last 3 hours or so.

Good to know, wish I knew that before, I died a few times trying to find a cash machine. Anyway mine seems to be working okay now, it takes me a few attempts at getting on, but once I'm on it stays on. Not been able to do any jobs though yet, it keeps saying they're failing to download.

First try of the day and I got on! ...then it froze ...second try, worked again ....it asked me to choose a car for the race, and a colour, but I didn't realise I only had 40sec to choose and I ended up with an orange Bollokan Prarie, Finished the race and the game froze. This was solo mode

I've been trying pretty much constantly for the last 8 hours with no luck at all, the furthest I got was the character creation. However I did try the Solo-mode and I watched Lamar pick me up from the airport, but as soon as the video finished I got the error message. So, so far I haven't actually played at all yet. A lot of my Facebook friends have said the same, I've not actually spoke to anyone who got further then I did yet.

I'm getting this now... "Alert The Rockstar servers are unavailable right now. Only disc content will be available and saving will be disabled. Are you sure you would like to proceed? " Might just give up for the day,

I spent ages making my character, and now it seems to have gone. I made it, saved and continued, then got sent back to Micheal, now when I go on it tells me to make a character.

I'm having the same problem at the moment, I flew under pretty much every bridge I could find, it said I had done 47, so I resorted to the Strategy Guide and did them all again one by one, I found one that I had missed, but I'm still stuck at 48/50. I've flown under them all at least 4 times each from each direction. (Only 25 are needed for the 100%)

Yes, after the 2 strangers and freaks missions with Tanya, you do have to phone her to get the next one, it never actually tells you this in game though. I was just calling everyone to hear their voice mail messages (Wades is hilarious),

Some of them appear after you have found certain things, like all the letter scraps gives you one, so does the spaceship parts, the submarine parts, the parachute jumps and so on....also completing the questionnaire on the Epsilon website gives you about 8 missions.

Good to know, I knew about the bushes from a Youtube video, but I never noticed the arrow turning dark before. I can also confirm that you can not hide your car in the bushes away from police, as I've tried and failed.

Pagassi Monroe Declasse Sabre Turbo Grotti Stinger Dewbauchee Examplar Rat-Loader Obey 9f Cabrio Hijak Khamelion Vapid Minivan Overflod Entity XF Cars I've only seen in missions are ... Dewbauchee JB700 Truffade Z-Type Grotti Cheetah Cars I've only obtained after missions are... Pagassi Vacca (Only spawns in vinewood hills when required for the epsilon car list) Declasse Asea (Can be obtained from Abigail after collecting all the submarine parts) Enus Cognoscenti Cabrio (Can be stolen from Poppy Mitchell after she is arrested) Aslo, apart from the protagonists personal Vehicles, I've never seen an Obey Tailgater, or a Cannis Bohdi spawn in traffic.

There is no car collecting. In GTA III and Vice City, there were massive lists of cars to collect and bring to the garage. In San Andreas there was the export import dock. In IV there was Brucie and Stevie's missions for car collecting which wasn't as good. So in GTAV I was hoping they would bring back the car collecting. But the only car collection mission is the 5 cars you have to bring to the Epsilon garage. Kinda disappointing

A few things that impressed me....no particular order. Hidden packages actually have a reason behind finding them (you're asked to find them for other people). The invisible wall to stop you leaving the map is more realistic (cutting the planes engine/sinking the boat). Conversations don't end abruptly when you reach your mission point.. Convertibles that actually convert. Fairground has rideable rides. Very realistic water and weather. SNAPMATIC!!! Buses actually drive in traffic (In IV they were just parked, unless it was scripted traffic). Weapon wheel! Being able to hold more than one type of each weapon at a time. Greatly improved graphics, especially on faces. Vehicle customization is very different for each vehicle and not the same options for every car. Each protagonist has their own personal vehicle. Each protagonist only has one safe house each (CJ had 30+, very unrealistic).

I've found a symbol on the side of the mountain, seems to be the same one from inside the Cable car station mentioned in the Video above. If you ride the cable car to the top without skipping the journey you can see it at the last moment before you reach the station at the top. I took these pics while in a helicopter as its near impossible to get to it on foot

Also some of the Strangers and Freaks give you quite big missions considering they're more of a side-job thing. and there are 20 of those, so really its 89 missions.

I agree, I very rarely went online with GTA IV and I doubt i'll use it much with V either. Plus, I know a few people who don't have an Internet connection, they can't play some of the missions because the Snapmatic camera doesn't work unless you are signed in.

Seems really odd that most of the sports/super cars like the Infurnus spawn quite regular, yet boring everyday-cars like the Asea and the Blista seem to be quite rare. I have yet to see the Declasse Asea, and apparently it has really unique modification options.
