yep read this morning on Google...didn't really read it actually, can only see the headline/descriptions, our new owner at work blocks game sites Saw this much anyway: "Old World Blues" will release for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on July 19. Before "Old World Blues" is actually available, however, Bethesda...
-
Just noticed this June release date. Was reading about the Lobotomites http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Lobotomite Looks promising, but wondered where they got all this good dope already http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Old_World_Blues Places, items, names....did I miss a trailer? Today is still only 6-21. I saw the video on the Old World Blues page, that's about it. (That video is where they got the screen on the main wiki page) Can't wait, hope it comes out soon. I go on over nights on my job 2nd week in July, that shift sucks for gaming. Thankfully only a week, filling in for the regular over night guy on vacation.

Above all, congratulations on your graduation from University. That will help fuel you for the rest of your career/life. A major accomplishment. Wishing you well.

We didn't all start from here, Psy's groups that is. I had seen that he was a contributor to my webmaster's FAQ so I sought him out, and his stunting videos. Impressive. So I followed, and joined up. Slowly, started to migrate in. When my webmaster closed his site, I stayed with Psy. That was, like back in the GTA-SanAndreas.com days.....Been with Psy ever since. Not as a psycho contributor like many who live in the Asylum and all that, but always been here posting gaming exploits and contributions to the games side of forum life. I'm not much for all the other junk, life's too short, and I'm older than y'all. Don't ask. Sharing experience from the games. That's all.

This was *totally* your find, amigo. All of us will continue to search for them. Remembering of course, to listen for that faint audio that you found. The thing I hate about finding exploits in GTA, was, someone is ALWAYS there to say they found it first. That is also, why I stopped editing the Fallout Wiki. Some fuck was always coming along, changing my findings. Case in point, Ryan Briggs Wonder Meat in Fallout 3, and the Empty Sunset Sarsaparilla Bottles in New Vegas. To this date I have removed only bottles from the crates in the factory, to the dumpster in the back, and it is 900+..with many more crates in the factory to go. None of the outside ones, or floor ones. While some moron continues to edit/dumb it down to 700, then stating various bottles, etc etc. Now, since Honest Hearts, there is a crafting recipe to use them, and the guy screwed me on that as well. Bunch of fucking pricks on that site. I find valid shit, and they take credit. On my old GTA Forum where I was admin, I was able to post findings of the parking meters in GTA:III, the unlimited fares in the North Point Mall bus stop, and the 3rd entrance into the Underworld in GTA: Vice City. Still people claim those as their own, as they do for Agent Ozzy's extra territory glitch in GTA: §an Andreas. We made Ozzy an honorary member the minute he posted that, but on many forums, he was laughed at, and it remains one of the most awesome exploits of all time! Guy was the founder of the extra territories from day one. Not to worry bOnEs, as far as we are concerned, you are the FNV Hulu Girl Audio Discoverer. Here is that Hendrix tune that only the beginning guitar sounds like the Hula Girl theme. Only the beginning guitar, if listening in the game, as faint slide guitar. It was actually the first JH Experience album I found out, and the tune is "May This Be Love" This came to mind when I made the connection to your discovery, but *only* the beginning guitar sounds. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=09QkpnaLafc Absolutely. Not just in the Charleston Cave, but on many terminals. As the data was explained, they were genetically spliced together. Harold's story was written in the Oasis. He kept carrying the tree on his head. If you played the older Fallout games, he was in there too. The Master didn't create him. The Master DID create the super mutants though. That was explained in earlier games, but also in the irradiated Vault in Fallout 3. The one where Fawkes had to go in and get the GECK. Some of the mutants were mentioned in New Vegas as Enclave creations from Navarro. I think Massacre will know the most, he and Heartless played the older games. I don't really read the Fallout Wiki anymore since there is so much contradiction going on there. But that is where I would have gone to read about the creations 2 years ago. I can't wait for the next DLC. Unfortunately I think it arrives when I am on over-night shift for a week on my job. It's a 24/7 HD Television facility so it will be a fucked week. Good the weekend after though.

My thoughts exactly. Perhaps even more controlled as in The Thorn. At least you know what's up. What happened to Unreal, it eventually became Unreal Tournament. Not that this was bad, but UT is more of team environment, than the original game. I could see Raiders/Fiends against the various factions, but definitely no 12 year olds screaming shoot the Deathclaw.....or worse...Where's the Pew-Pew. EDIT: Hula Girl Update. Bones - oh the slide guitar riff!...pretty subliminal I guess. It also sounds like the beginning of Hendrix's waterfall song off the 2nd album Axis Bold as Love. I just verified by standing in front of hula bobble at H&H Tools. Even though there is FNV soundtrack music going on, the hula girl slide guitar went off about 4 times. Actually I'm still standing there and it still goes off. It's just like one slide up on the guitar, and a few notes picked after that, to be made to sound Hawaiian probably. Good find bOnEs! Actually thanks for waking us all up. I had been hearing that subliminal tune the whole time.

I've seen those things literally everywhere. Never heard anything. They are in all offices, and most barracks. Would be cool if they did play a tune. On a similar note, we still don't know what the welding rods are for either. I still find on occasion, items that can't be picked up. Toy cars, food plants. Tonight I examined an ash pile by Crimson Caravan, and a dialog took over. Weird. It was a traveling vendor's text about if I need anything. When I finally got into the ash pile, and took what was there - loss of karma for pickpocketing! L0L. Better than the MF cells, if I didn't mention this here or on the old forum, the BoS bunkers that did not lead to the Brotherhood, with all the rubble behind the doors - have mini-nukes and other ammo. Jump over the rubble. Some may have a hard time because of the high lock skill required, but maybe finding rare mini-nukes will give yall incentive to use a lockpick book if you don't have the skill. I couldn't believe they had nukes in the rubble. Finally turned in my star caps, I actually had 118, more than I thought. Wouldn't you know it, the next bottle of Sunset that I drank, had a star cap, which quickly the message changed to bottle cap added. Has anyone taken the bug-eating perk? I'm getting tired of eating insects. Thought after awhile the game would add some form of challenge. Nope. Bugs for dessert as well.

I thought it was pretty stupid that the NCR bitch in command at Hoover wanted to destroy it as well. She had almost no alternative dialogs for any of her shit missions. Great Khans are allies, totally cool, but not to her. You even get bad karma for suggesting that the BoS will support the NCR, and she complains that the embassy dude will have a field day. There was no way I was going to do what she said, and if that meant failing the mission and end of game right there, fine with me. I hated that cunt. Turns out the suggested truce gives way to her complaint dialog, and the NCR infamy. I'm not sure if you know but after those last missions with either Caesar or the NCR bitch, the Great Khan Armory (underground storm cellar) is basically closed, you won't have the option to buy or sell with them. They were ten times better than the BoS base girl. By the way, after the last patch, the hidden back door to her store under the floor, is now closed, so no one can sneak in there and steal the stack of T-45d armor....

This game, she's like a cyborg terminator but with charisma. Strength 6 Perception 7 Endurance 9 Charisma 8 Intelligence 7 Agility 6 Luck 7 Not sure where to see the bare DT level but in most of the menus there are a lot of 6's unarmed and no clothes. Keep in mind this is only my second game, learned from the first. Max out the Strength and Intel at the beginning at the Doc's. That way any special books rank, as well as Dr.Usanagi's add-ons. (I have them all) It's just the Remnants armor that breaks down. I have a tendency to take on 20 enemies at once. I have both Remnants sets, one from Gannon, one from the Deathclaw Promentory. The T-45d and T-51b sets take damage, but not as much as the Remnants. Funny because it's supposedly the strongest armor in the game. I used the T-45d gifted armor most of the game. Up until the end, I kept very good karma, not stealing, not fighting the Legion, etc. No reason to steal, there is free stuff/gifts everywhere, and no one had the Gecko backed armor until Honest Hearts. Once I finished everything except the final mission and turning in my 114 star bottle caps for the Pew-Pew, I massacred the Fort and Caesar in one attack alone. Then started the final achievement quest for pickpocketing which really lowers your karma. But it's great that at 100 sneak, seems no one can even see you. So now back to wasting Fiends at Vault 3 and surrounding hiding places, and Ghouls, to bring the karma back up. Will turn in the star caps soon. Nope, there's nothing weak about this character. She's also got all the special take down moves and that's probably why the damage to the armor, likes to fight martial arts bare hand, or poisoned weapons. Very cool. Also, the energy ammo is pretty much free at the BoS bases. If you're gonna pay this much for a game, get the most out of it. I always did with all the GTA games after 100% as well. Plus, I just love the option of crafting, repairing, making ammo and stuff, it just enhances the Fallout world. When I do the hardcore mode game it won't be for exploring, just the achievement. And I don't plan that waste of time anytime soon, I want the DLC's first. The reason I have a shitload of caps is because I explore everything, make my own stuff, kill/loot everything, and sell it at max barter.

That's for sure, it's a survivalist environment. The Yao Guai shred through all my power armor and even at over 100,000 caps it gets expensive to repair. Another reason I used the White Legs and Gecko backed, there's no shortage of it. Also even just now, going back for more Tomahawks to add poison to, the White Legs take 2-3 blows from most weapons. I would say the Giant Greens and Giant Yao Guai's are the hardest core. I have tried to stay tribal with limited tech but sometimes open a can of Flamer+ with a little Ranger's Sequoia on Zion. Would be interesting to see how one does in hardcore mode. Another bonus there - the clean water for healthing up.

The Survivalist Caches are easy, they're listed in one of the messages to his tribe. (Or at least you can calculate and figure from what he writes) The Survivalist aka the Father was quite a guy living through two marriages, many kids, watching the Vault 22 idiots invade, and protecting and nurturing his tribe. Guy was truly, the Father. That was wild how he didn't look at the nuclear blast on the road, and found an old couple who did, and became blinded. Sat them down, next to each other, told them he was going for help, and used one bullet through two heads. Found every location, every rare item, hunted down all the Yao Guai, got Joshua up to 100% repair. I gathered all the unique items, including the 2 different Sorrows outfits, the 2 different White Legs outfits, the Desert Ranger outfit, but even more interesting... The Gecko-Backed Metal and Leather Armor, plus the reinforced version of each. Stuff is awesome, and it spares me having to fight in one of my two Remnant Power Armor suits. So far thanks to the Green Gecko, I have made about a dozen of each of the 4 unique suits of armor, as I already had a huge stash of Tanned Fire Gecko, and Tanned Golden Gecko Hides, all I needed was the Green. Another very cool craft item I am enjoying from Honest Hearts is the variations of Datura poisons/toxins, as I now have a large stash of doses to sit next to my Mother of Darkness, Tremble, and Silver Sting. Datura! For when one blow will kill. The Tomahawks are absolutely excellent for delivering doses to the face. Try it in Vault 3. Another great addition, since I used 3 stash points in Zion, is the scrap metal crafts. I used the Sorrows Camp, General Store, and Dead Horses camp, and stashed like over 2,000lbs of stuff. The meals-to-metal, and cookery-to-metal abilities totally make use of junk. As we all know, scrap metal is extremely valuable for weapons repair kits. Also, now I have use for all those 900+ Empty Sunset Sarsaparilla bottles (That the idiots at Wiki keep fucking with my entries.) Do it yourself Sunset Sarsaparilla and Nuka Cola, awesome. I've made use of every craft-able item and recipe from Zion, my survival skill has long since been at 100. I don't really use Joshua's or Daniel's outfits, or Salt-Upon-Wounds' Power Fist, actually She's Embrace all that much. However I do use the reward War Club given after finding the Bighorner Calf and getting it back to its mother. That club, with Datura or Mother of Darkness on it, is a one hit kill with the two mods on it. Thankfully Zion is a plant re-spawning wonderland for ingredients like Cave Fungus (Which easily replaces RadAway), Xander Roots, Datura, or the Spores. I just had a dream the other night that if you kill Ulysses, you lose karma and can't return to the area.....it's pretty bad when I'm dreaming about this game now.

So the three quests from Joshua are only available in the Joshua ending? That would explain why I didn't get them. Actually I said the Daniel ending, seemed actually to add the other 3 Joshua missions. There are options in Daniel's ending. On the way to your destination, when you are with Joshua, make those side routes, they are missions. I didn't really notice or care about any religion, but I did exhaust all dialogs to get what I wanted which was all the missions. But when religion was mentioned, it was no big deal. The one during the psychedelic mission is so boring all I remember is it led to nothing. I actually thought it was a hallucination featuring Joshua, but it was real, and it was I think another "side with me or side with Daniel" religious speech.
-
I completed every mission in the game. Here's how: You must exhaust all possible dialogs with every character you meet. For example, there are followers/companions. Their dialogs will reveal side missions, and in one case, a companion leads to a person, who will give you a side mission. As for the main characters, there are two endings, and to get all the achievements, you will have to do both endings. I did the Joshua ending first, that is basically, one mission. The Daniel ending, seems actually, another 3 Joshua missions. I also do all the optional missions, within missions. Besides missions, there is also at least 2 mini-quests that I completed. One involved finding hidden items, the other involves hunting hidden subjects. Best bet is to make key saves so that you don't miss anything. It's very short but very sweet.

That's fn awesome details, thanks. We live and learn. What an interesting Fallout related story. Guess we know where they got the idea from now.

Surprisingly, he's not all that raspy, but his voice is very powerful. The Burned Man wasn't at all what I was expecting him to be after I first heard about him in New Vegas, but he's turned out to be even better than I would have imagined. There's a beautiful mixture of underlying insanity and straightforward, "this is how shit is going to go down, deal with it" motivation. The bible zealotry you saw in the trailer appears to define his character, but the verses he quotes aren't coming from the "love everyone" bullshit that's found in most of the bible. Joshua Graham was truly worthy of serving the mighty Caesar, even more so than legate Lanius. I hope he's around in the future. I saved quite a few key times in the DLC. So if I ever want to go back he will always be there. Actually all the new HH characters are pretty cool in their own way.

Many results in the Mojave from the DLC, good and bad. However the dope cookers in the Red Canyon did not recognize any new dialogues from discussion with them. So maybe this is just new toxins. Or the Great Khans did not get included in any dialog updates. Needless to say, the tribal in all of us will value from it. When you find the root of this issue, it will become clear. On another note, it's weird but great to find all vendors now have a bunch of 40mm grenades in stock. This will help me stock up ammo for my beloved Thump-Thump, from the Boomers.
-
This perk is really getting me off right now: Plus after finding all the Survivalist's caches, finding his body...his final note...and special weapon. Can't believe I am at 90,000+ caps from selling shit. Kept anything that can be used at a crafting bench/campfire. Love the new recipes for consumable, dope, poison, or armor. Much less the weapon mods. All of which are now available back home in the Mojave. Whoa! We got side effects of the DLC! The BOS safehouse has been fully re-stocked with heavy weapons and armor! The coolness never ends.
-
Dup you keep getting better and better. There's a lot of VFX (visual effects) houses that would love to hire you I'm sure.

None of these posts have been spoilers bones, it was all previously known. I explored every location while in the game, as always. The caves with terminals are a must-do, IMHO. I found the storyline to be outstanding and a very honest hearts type of game, with plenty of opportunities to gain a lot of good karma. This was short, but very sweet. Very humanitarian as opposed to the brutal Mojave or Capitol wasteland scenarios. Got all the new and rare weapons, modded fully where applicable. Note that the mods and weapons themselves are available back home in the Mojave. That is the regular DLC new ones, not the reward or rare weapons. Also brought home all of the tribal armor, and rare clothing. Finished the DLC again from a late save. Daniel's ending, provided the extra 3 missions I was missing. I like both endings. Level 40, and final achievement 5/5 May my Hand Forget its Skill Took 2 of the new perks when leveling up, and the side effects are interesting. I wonder how being at level 40 and 100% in many of the skills will affect the game now....

Yes that is the soundtrack for Vault 22. The voices are very predominant. It's normal for New Vegas. There is also a ranger outfit, desert ranger. Like the NCR Rangers. The long coat with the gas mask like head gear. Pretty cool. I had Joshua repair it up to max. I just completed the DLC. Note that there are two endings, so you can't get all 5 achievements in one go. I went first for the Joshua Graham (Burning Man) ending. Got 4/5 achievements completed. Tired now, so will complete the Daniel ending tomorrow night. My achievements: O Daughter of Babylon In a Foreign Land Restore Our Fortunes When We Remembered Zion http://live.xbox.com/en-US/GameCenter/Achievements?titleId=1112737760

Yep tribal armor and weapons. There are some cool new weapons, and they have mods. Also I don't remember melee weapons having mods in NV, but there is one here, and you can mod it. The recipes have expanded, and for me its a crafting wonderland. Lost of new items and the game kind of reinforces that you will want to craft certain natural remedies already existing. There are a couple really cool recipes for non-food/chems, that are similar to the Dead Money additions.

Same here - Wild Wasteland. Note this, because yesterday the Fallout Wiki was obviously being updated as players were learning. I kept refreshing the Wiki, and all day I never noticed anything about what you and I saw due to having the Wild Wasteland perk. Without spoilers, that guy who did the cheer was a shaman, and his mission ALSO gave the Wild Wasteland symbol. Hopefully others will have the mission available but so far it looks like it is just for that perk. I completed all side missions that I've found so far and that was the only one with the Fallout Boy WW symbol on it. [EDIT: It's available to everyone....wonder what the WW is referenced to.]

Pretty easy if you are Level 30 and geared up.The look and feel is a nice change. Got the first two achievements already. I had no idea it would be this interesting. (Will be boring for some of you, it's that easy.) Story wise, I have been exhausting every speech option with main characters. It's really a total overload of history. Just been exploring, trying not to go too fast. Found what seems like every location on the map already. If I hadn't of shut it off, feels like I could have finished it. Got to mind work tomorrow. That sucks man. Weird it goes to black. Guess you've already tried everything? My 360 hard drive is almost empty except for Fallout 3, GTA:IV and Fallout New Vegas. I noticed a rather long load time, but it was before the part you showed. Just going in the door to meet the caravan, took like 3 minutes. I just didn't touch it an waited. Other than that I thought it was strange because it actually seems to flow better than regular New Vegas, at least on the strip anyway. Can you try re-down-loading it?
-
Thanks man. That's the kind of motivation I needed to hear. The last DLC put me off because of the bugs which never got fixed. This file, I didn't even finish the factions, and am neutral with both Caesar as well as NCR. Didn't do Dead Money yet on this file, but was surprised to see that Honest Hearts is already up on XBoxLive. Downloading only took a few minutes. So I guess I'll see what's up. From a regular current save my girl awoke in Novac room to read this: The map directs you straight to the Northern Passage. Happy Trails guys, enjoy the DLC.
