I think each character will have different fighting styles and the ability to learn new moves will not be in the game. Trevor will have a more 'dirty' fighting style, maybe kick to the balls etc, Franklin more brutal with elbows and punt kicks to the head whilst there down, Michael will be more efficient, clean and precise. But can always be wrong which is probably the case!

Trailer #2 Discussion
CalumLeo replied to Icecoldbagey's topic in GTA 5 Pre-Release Discussion (Closed)
The comedy in the game seems to be back, because personally IV wasn't that funny in my opinion, bit too serious. Prefer GTA games with the comedy touch! Michael and his family has so much promise to make you piss yourself and Trevor i'm sure will be class! -
The game looks massively impressive! Hard to see how my PS3 isnt going to struggle with all the detail obviously in and around the city. Can see civilians dropping from the sky as they load as im speeding down a street! Could be a cool mission landing on that roof and crashing through that sky light into the FIB building!

I think all this is dependant on the lead character, The tattoos the customization all went with CJ, it fitted. But in IV I dont think R* saw that it would fit in well with Nico. Think all this is dependant on the lead character, and if it is a 40yr old man I cant see all the crazyness. Personally I hope they do the same as SA if not more! Think IV lacked the crazy GTA style

I thought in IV the mechanics were just if you accelerated you just got over steer and then run someone over! Least they stopped the pedestrians jumping into your car's path like in SA. But I would prefer better acceleration like you said but being able to fly round corners instead of smashing into everything with over steer

Would everyone prefer the realism of GTA iV driving mechanics which just was an incredible amount of over steer through fast corners and chasers, or would people prefer the more unrealistic and immensely more fun mechanics of the likes of San Andreas and Vice City. Which allowed you to fly round corners with a bit of hand brake and power?
