  1. But a DLC isn't replaying the game. It's an additional game. I agree about the gambling, though. I go back to SA for a little gambling.
  2. ...back on topic. I'll be happy to have a new GTA in my life whether I go in with no info, or TMI. I got all the information I could on GTASA, GTAIV, and RDRedemption before their releases and loved em all. On the other hand, I knew nothing about GTAI, GTAII, GTAIII, State of Emergency, GTAVC, Bully, RDRevolver, or Bully, and I can classify said games as my favorite time sinks. R* has only let me down when it came to LA Noire. I have to say that the hype they built around the game pre-release is when I got the most out of it. So, I only want loads of info if GTAV is going to be a disappointment, and I just don't see that happening. *knocks on wood*
  3. Christian Bale was fucking awesome in Newsies. Newsies - Sante Fe
  4. Just saw it today. Good flick. Made me laugh, which is more than I can say for most comedy.
  5. I hope they bring back vigilante missions.
  6. I can see playing as a former police officer, but I don't think R* will give us a story where we play as a current officer of the law in a GTA game. It goes against the grain of the over all theme of the series. The protagonist is always a career criminal, to some degree. A former police officer is in line for that. And I gotta say, I was let down by LA Noire on several fronts. But most damning for me, it had no replay value. That's the only time I've ever said that about a R* game.
  7. Guys, don't mess around. That 2012 shit is for real. Jesus, my gardener, told me so, and his name is Jesus! But I, too, am wishing for GTAV. And I'm angry as shit. So, I invite you, GTAGreg22, and everyone else, to wish in one hand, and shit in the other. Throw shit at Greg.
  8. Your grasp of logic is astounding. Do we have a sarcasm emoticon?
  9. I'll never visit that site again. As news stand tabloids die, it's a shame to see the internet pick up the slack. But, it's our own damn fault for looking at it, just like how we all slow down on the highway to see any accident, no matter how minor.
  10. Heh. Hells yeah. For me the need for realism, or a lack thereof, is really going to depend on the story. Is it gonna be all dark and cynical like IV? Or are we gonna have fun fun fun like VC and SA? IV needed the drab realism to tell the sad tale of Nico, and the same goes for TLAD. I think we can all agree TBoGT was just good and wacky, but again that became a necessity due to the story. SA and VC gave us that same goofy feeling. From the first trailer, compared to IV's, we're already headed in a lighter direction. IV was all gloom and doom, Nico talking about his sins, wondering if things can be different. In V, we listen to the narrator talk about dreams of a simple life, only to accept that life ain't easy. Far less dramatic. And music! VI's is oppressive, while V's opens relaxed, gets dramatic, and then levels out. I think we may be in store for a more light hearted, fun GTA. But the state of San Andreas calls for that anyway.
  11. Massacre doesn't moderate the whole internet... yet...
  12. No. It annoys me because it makes me want to rip her shit excuse for a top off. I feel like less of a man for looking at that avatar, and thinking of her tits before her top. I guess I need more sensitivity training. But after I tug one out.
  13. For me, yes to both. I can easily see a mission where our protagonist poses as a waiter to kill someone, and in the end, a waiter mini-game is made available. Completion of said mini-game gives you free access to food. Hey, they did it with the valet parking mini-game in GTA SA. May CJ rest in peace.
  14. The Warriors was my favorite video game based on a film. They stayed true to the story, characters, and the environment. I'd fuck a corpse for another R* game of that ilk.
  15. We all like fist fighting trains, shooting trains, and throwing trains from moving trains. It's good old American fun.
  16. Hey -ZB-, in an effort to not be a dick, what do you get out of GTA5Videos on YouTube? That shit makes me so depressed and empty inside, I have to hit my man parts with a hammer just to feel anything again. But that's just me...
  17. Being a smarmy asshole, I would argue that I was above average intellect, American or not, before I got involved with my lady love. But none the less, thanks for recognizing my intellectual superiority.
  18. Gonna have to be like Ku (damn, that makes me feel dirty) and introduce myself late. I'm sexy as all hell. Just look at my profile pic. I'm witty and shit. I can cook the best lasagna you've ever eaten. My greatest claim to fame? I was a "Reading Rainbow" book review kid. But I never got to meet Levar Burton. One of my deepest regrets. I'm an American that will soon be stealing an English rose for my wife. We met playing RDR co-op missions. After out playing me and the other two guys on our team, she got shot down, and said "I need a prick in the ass." I responded, "I got your prick right here!" in my most lecherous voice. She laughed and one of histories great romances began. I've loved Rockstar since GTA2, but that was figuratively the icing on cake. We're gonna see if they'll throw us a Red Dead Wedding, after our Red Dead Romance. Love these forums, with or without noobs and fools. So where does an American with a foreign lady stand on the scale of the moron? Statistically speaking.
  19. How do I post a youtube video, instead of just the link? A noobish question, I know, but I have no pride.
  20. I don't know why people on here get so butt hurt when they see something that has already been posted. It's not like they have a search option, unless I'm not seeing it, If I saw it, I would most likely not make a forum about it! I ain't butt hurt. Your clit isn't big enough.
  21. We already have this topic under "Why the Lost and the Damned wasn't great & DLC predictions," or something like that. You couldn't be bothered to look it up, so neither can I.
  22. So a citizens arrest? They had it in Bully. Not so much any citizen, but Kiefer himself. I enjoy the whole life imitating art aspect of it.
  23. While in film school in Los Angeles, we students were made aware of some issues you can run into when shooting a scene in public. One story involved a scene where a woman pulls up to a traffic signal in her car, stops, and is car jacked by another actor. During one of several takes, none other than Kiefer Sutherland (24's Jack Bauer) sees the "car jacking" and rushes out to foil the crime. I've never found the footage, so it could be bullshit, but I want Jack Bauer to foil some of my crimes. With that in mind, if anyone finds that video, please, let me know. I also want to ruin a major studios film shoot and/or opening.
