  1. I feel like location is a huge thing, and it all comes back to connections.

Living in New York, I think I have a much better chance of finding a job with a degree like that compared to someone from Virginia, just how it is. I don't know what Q has done or decided though so I can't speak for him. Electricians aren't going away, and if you know what you're doing you can live comfortably.

There was a plumber from here who made $300K one year and the next year he barely made $50k

  2. Spent about 20 minutes prepping fruit to make a nice smoothie, had it all poured out into the cup, I'm grabbing a lid for the container with fruit in it and something falls and knocks over the smoothie, and almost everything is gone.

Being healthy is a real pain in the ass.

  3. I'm considering a finance, economics, accounting, or international relations/business major.

Colleges I'm looking at in order (for the most part) include:

    -Butler University

    -University of South Carolina

    -University of Missouri

    -Oregon State University

    -University of Washington

    -Western Washington University

    -New York University

Anyone who has any outlook on these I'd appreciate the advice.

Also, for the Americans here, if you attend out of state, I'm guessing you must register and insure your car for that state?

  4. Figured I'd make a topic about it, some of you have gone through it, some haven't. Some of us are anticipating it in the near future and others are currently experiencing it. This is a place to discuss college/university, get some advice, and share some experiences.
