  1. This topic seems like a good place for general travel.

Next summer we may be planning on taking a trip overseas. I've got three places on my list, Sweden, Germany, or the Caribbean. The reason the Caribbean is on here is because I'd probably take a cruise and my family and a friend of mine and his family would be going if we planned this. I'll be getting my passport in the coming months, and I really am having a hard time deciding. Between these three, what would you all choose?

  2. I can't see what's so attractive about China other than being able to taste iPhone 3's in the air and seeing nothing but smog.

That's extremely ignorant. You'll learn as you age, I guess.

I wasn't really being serious, my cousin goes to China all the time, like literally all the time, usually on business now, but he has been doing so for over a decade. He has a huge love affair with the country, and he's going to even teach his baby how to speak Chinese along with English. From the pictures he has shown me and the stories, it's a place I do want to visit, but it's not at the top of my list.

  3. Visit cities and more isolated areas. I love http://www.wikitravel.com for information. I'd also get yourself a metal detector or something, and go out into the woods in various countries, you can find small treasures from Roman Times to WWII and anywhere in between. Visit historical spots, get a varied experience in climates and regions.

Some places I'd recomend would be Sweden/Norway above the arctic circle and also the Southern regions. You will most likely be able to see the northern lights and beautiful mountains and forests in the north.

Germany has many great places, I'd recommend Berlin and Munich for a great experience.

Italy is another nice country, but don't only stick to the coast, the northern parts offer some wonderful experiences as well. Speaking of the that region, I'd visit Switzerland, Austria, and France as well.

Who wouldn't want to see this in real life?

Russia would be another nice place, and a few friends of mine have visited Poland, and they would recommend Warsaw as a nice place to visit. Poland is a beautiful country.

I'd visit Dublin, as a friend of mine also went there and loved it.

  4. Recently started working on a sword, also use this to post pics of any projects you're working on from home to car to whatever.

Put spoiler tags due to size of photos, not nearly done. Will take some more photos tomorrow of what I worked on today.

Been using sand paper, emery cloth, and a steel wheel attachment for power tools. Going to start with 80 grit to get into the metal and remove the rust, once all the dark spots you see are gone, will begin moving up with 100 grit, 120, 150, 180, and so on until I reach 2500.

    History on the sword

German made around 1880 for Argentinian military.

  5. I just thought of it this way, while it is a gaming console in the prime, this has NFL and ESPN coming with it, and I can get my news anywhere anytime on the internet. Plus I have an Apple TV or the Xbox for Netflix/Hulu... so I can just cut cable now and wind up saving over $100 a month.

I think I'll be taking the Xbox route since it has Football too...

  6. If gta 5 was on next gen, i would have made the switch.

I cant believe sony or ms didnt offer take two big money for a gtav next gen exclusive. Talk about console seller.

I would rather buy GTA V again for the PC. Mainly because of the awesome Mods there will be for this game, which Next-Gen Consoles won't take advantage of.

It would be awesome if Sony instituted a "Steam Workshop" style app for the PlayStation 4. Letting you download and install PC Mods for your console games.

A lot of developers hate mods, that will never happen.

  7. Give it time, they're maximizing sales on current last gen before they release on next current gen.

PC is a different story, my only reasoning as to why they haven't had any plans for PC yet is because they're figuring out how to make sure nobody can get around micro transactions on PC. I guarantee it.
