Totally a steal for $50. I figure I should post pictures of my piece. I've considered an upgrade many times but she's just been to damn good to me and has way to much life left for me to get rid of her. 125,000 km, and I'm second it's owner. Slight ding on the hood and bumper as you can see, nothing beyond cosmetic. I've been meaning to take it to a buddy to have him touch it up but I haven't bothered yet + Money. Don't mind the scan tool, was out checking my fathers Cruze right next to it. I just noticed that pillow, I don't know what it's doing there.... Got some good cheap all seasons last month (plus wheel well rust!!!) And yes, I drive around town with pokemon dolls in my back windshield. Drapes match the exterior. And the motor, 3.4L V6 pushrod. Nothing special but it's got more go than the 4-cyl Ecotech on the base. It outran my buddy's turbo Cruze in, erm... Testing. I've heard all the complaints about the leaky seals and coolant, but as mentioned in a previous post, all the manifold and gasket seals were replaced and the corrosion on the heads was machined off at 123,000km. Also reinforced the rocker arms on the heads as I've suffered a blowout or two in the past (mainly from my maniac driving, but still, it's nice to know they're sturdier). Other than that, just cleaned all the metal and all the oil residue, attached a new ignition system and got rid of the bulky old manifold heat shields for wrap instead. I've been looking at an airbox upgrade as well, although instead of a delete I'm looking to see if i can attach a Ram Air box off of a Grand Am GT. However I'm hindered by the fact that my car has a total lack of a front grille..... So there you have it, my 03 amateur mechanic pokemon-fanboy granny-mobile!

Jesus. I see I'm not the only one who had their grouchy pie today. igta PMS night #2. Seriously though. I should apologize for my attitude last night, as I clearly offended some of you. I don't want to make excuses for my attitude, but on top of me quitting smoking my family doctor decided last week would be the perfect time to change my anxiety/depression medication. So quite honestly I have been over the deep end these few weeks, and until I'm readjusted to the lack of nicotine and new meds, I probably will be a grumpis for the next while. Again, I am sorry for my attitude and I don't want to make excuses, but I hope at least you can understand why I haven't been myself. Maybe I should take a break too... As for you bones, I hope me picking on your jobs last night didn't add to your breakdown... But don't feel bad about wanting to take a break, hell I've felt the same way as you do about GTA for quite a while, I didn't play for weeks and it wasn't until I got myself a warehouse that I actually started to enjoy playing the game itself again. Don't worry about hosting the events, it looks like there's more than enough people willing to cover you, hell, maybe we could get some more organisers to take the pressure off you tuesday nights.

Welp... I'm officially making the effort to quit. I had a bout of cyclical vomiting brought on by my massive pot smoking habits (and a combination of other things) and had to spend three days in hospital with severe dehydration. It's been five days since I've smoked anything and I'm about ready to start fucking murdering people. I know a few others on here have successfully quit. Any strategies for not flipping shit over the stupidest things?

I just re-did the heads on my Alero and put in a MSG ignition system, was about $1100 for parts and tools (me and a friend did the labour). I had a few hiccups here and there (didn't tighten a coolant line and the belt got chewed up) but it's running decent now. *knocks on wood* Now I'm looking at a whole 'nother set of fixes. I have an exhaust leak somewhere before the Cat, and while I'm down there I could probably use another Catalytic as well. Fresh Heads all the extra goodies Heads + New Gaskets

Huge into anime if anybody didn't know yet. I'm basically a fiend for Mobile Suit Gundam or any other series involving mechs. Also still have a soft spot for all my childhood animes like Pokemon, DBZ and Yugioh. Other than that I'll watch just about anything that appeals to me. A couple series I've watched; Initial D, SAO, Samurai Champloo, Attack On Titan, Psycho-Pass and FMA. Also Just got back from anime north over the weekend ironically. I've been going every year for about 4 years now, went as the mysterious stranger from fallout. This gives me a good excuse to dump some photos.... However my internet's being a whore right now....
