What are you looking for in GTA5?

Then the more clothing option will be available if we can pick cloths from dead bodies..... LOL -
That's what the point is... The music & songs in IV were not bad but weapons & car sounds were not impressive but actually shitty. Most of the time in the game we keep driving the car & keep firing. So these two types of sounds are very important than anything else. Also it need to be vary car to car & same for weapons. So if the car & weapon sounds cant impress us then it is really disappointing....

Exactly. As a DLC it would be kickass if they wish so. Since V has nice city & awesome countryside, which will be good to incorporate the zombies. Actually surviving the whole zombie environment would be pretty interesting, free roam kinda shit as someone said before. It'll be really interesting to see the streets of LS full zombies, less fortunate people falling prey to them, you keep changing the safe hoses for avoid zombies etc etc. this will be whole new perspective to GTA. I think... But Only as a DLC...
-
Haha LOL We forgot about that.

Im saying in comparison to Undead Nightmare. You may enjoy them but they come one with so many of them, and want like 15 bucks for maybe 4 new maps. UN had map alterations, new onlines modes, completely new gameplay elements, and a whole new story line...for 10 bucks. It wouldnt be. I think yall need to drop the "I'm not gonna buy this if it does come out" attitude cause you totally would. Even it reaks of "already bin done" I'm actually just hoping they come out with another huge DLC and only charge 10 bucks for it. I completely agree....

Car sounds in IV were not that effective. This should be taken care in V seriously...
-
Fuck no... Not in the V. Because it'll be like Resident Evil series or something like that. So definitely not in the single player. Will be good as a DLC or in multiplayer would be nice. Infact as separate DLC it'll be good story, like the same city is crawling with zombies, not much people remain, those whose are alive struggling for survive kinda shit. Can be possible... But not as a main story please

Are you sure about that Massacre. I mean I know it looks good on PC but on my PS3 when you actually look at things upclose it's preetty average. I think you need to take Skyrim's landscape as a whole rather than inspecting it upclose. And Skyrim is by no means the best-looking open world game to date. Even though I was pretty awed when I started exploring the land for the first time, but after awhile and on closer inspection everything is pretty basic and bland ( and not very detailed with choppy textures ). This is almost definitely different for the PC because it has advanced graphics options and effects. Oh and even though Fallout 3 and New Vegas are great games. Both have very bland/ brown and generic environments that are very simply detailed aswell. I don't even know why I'm arguing about this bullshit, because I couldn't give a fuck about graphics. Gameplay is 10,000 times more important!!! How about you get perfect story with good graphics in V....

The first thing I'll do is find out how the wanted system is implemented. Because it was horrible in IV. Like cops always knew where your're hiding, even if your're on top of building hiding behind water tank. This is ridiculous. They should investigate the crime scene & then they may start firing...

Exactly. Why do some people want a protagonist from past GTA characters, I just don't understand. Because we have played as them before & as this game is new, story is different therefore the protagonist must be someone else who didn't appear previously. The previous characters may reappear as friends or in supporting role, but not as main protagonist...IMO.

So who's pre-ordering GTA V?

Haha, I agree. GTA is worth it... -
Indeed. Young protagonists like Louis Lopez, Johny would perfectly suite the GTA theme.

Shooting and Getting Shot in GTA 5
x910 replied to Riley Bradeen's topic in GTA 5 Pre-Release Discussion (Closed)
Effect of getting shot in arm & torso is great, as you said but effect of getting shot in head would be more realistic than required . Because in most of missions you have would high no of chance to be dead in only one shot & i think it'll be annoying after some time later in game... You'd keep getting headshots causing instant death IMO. -
What are you looking for in GTA5?

The ability to mount the machine gun on the hood of your car. Not every car but yeah... like on suvs or custom built cars in your garage... -
Idea of zoo is kinda great. It'll be fun to see people dying in havoc caused by animals....

thats a very good reason why they should be in the game. "largest and most ambitious game Rockstar has yet created" - if its anything less of what SA had, then its not. im only believing what R* have revealed (LS and countryside so far). theres no reason for believing those cities wont be in the game though. Yes exactly.. If it's their most ambitious game as they said, then there would be more than 1 city, may be smaller in size. But if there is only one city ie. LS, then the map might not become "HUGE", IMO.

What are you looking for in GTA5?

Or possibly a mini game of some sort that would depend on the make or rarity of car. Remember in games like China Town Wars or Sleeping Dogs where you'd have those instances where you have to rotate left joystick to undo screw, or match a 4 digit code before the timer goes off. If failure to enter correct code in alloted time the car alarm would sound. There could be various different mini games so things wouldn't get stale. The rarer the vehicle the harder the task. From simple rotating joystick 3 times clockwise to steal medium rare car (would be easy to do) to code matching and wire splicing for a very hard to find car. (Greater chance to mess up and signal alarm). Maybe some cars just need a simple item like a door jam thing you slide into window to trigger lock. Imagine an exotic car dealership to break into and hijacking cars. It would be more risky and a lot more fun then like the one in GTA4 on 2nd island where all you do is shoot window, jump in car and drive out broken window to escape a 1 star wanted level. With a name like GRAND THEFT AUTO, I think more emphasis needs to be focused on various way to steal cars and more auto theft missions in general. I would like to see a character that you meet fairly early in the game who sends you off on car jacking missions. This could also include a small tutorial teaching you how to sneak and use various tools to break into a car. First few missions from him/her would be easy robberies on a cheap car parked somewhere. Along the line you'd be stealing cars from people currently driving them, where you'd need to fight off the car owner and escape high speed pursuit. One of the final mission could have you break into the Exotic Dealership mentioned above and steal a mission only car on the top story which would lead to a long high speed chase down alleys and highways, avoid spike strips/road block, firing out your window at police and such. Missions like these where you meet the person early on would allow for character development where you grow attached and when something bad happens your willing to risk your own ass to help them or when they die off you actually feel the pain. Just a few ideas. Yeah... In short, car stealing & Car jacking must not be as easy as IV. It should be Real badass... There should be a thrill while you steal cars... IV lack in this area. There was atmost 1 star wanted level. This should be vastly improved.... -
Of course graphics are important, but saying "X game is better than Y game because it has better graphics" deserves a punch in the face. I can still enjoy playing San Andreas' story now, even though the graphics are so bad. Same with World Of Warcraft, the graphics aren't good at all, but it's such a fun game so it doesn't really matter. What is needed is a balance between good graphics, and good gameplay. Personally would rather sacrifice graphics to hae better gameplay (AC III) than have phenomenal graphics but not having good game playe. Completely agree. A game with perfect graphics but no interesting story is nothing but a waste. There should be balance between both. Rather slightly less detailed graphics & more interesting story is good combination...

What if he is like Liam Neeson, would that change your mind. Probably yes, I would think... But still young protagonist will suit more to GTA theme, IMO

Another great idea, most modern luxury cars have great security that would take more time to bypass ( than just breaking the window and using a screwdriver to start the ignition, or cutting and rejoining wires ). They should implement immobilizers so that if you steal one of these cars and don't bypass the security system, the cars engine shuts down, the doors lock and the police are notified of your location. To bypass this you would need to hack the cars computer and override the immobilization system. And you would only get the device for this later in the game. Maybe through a chop shop side mission from a business front you can acquire in game. Instead of that "cheat", they should make Safehouses easier to defend and start sieges in, by adding booby-traps like - rigged shotguns, motion sensor/ remote activated bombs, automated turrets that fire at anything that moves, having the ability to release guard dogs or other animals ( tigers? ), having other mafia/gang members defending your apartment/ compound/ mansion. And lastly being able to barricade certain areas so you can funnel the Police /FIB/ Army into these traps or to your defensive position. Obviously this would be alot more fun if the Law Enforcemnent was tougher. So they should have attack dogs/ flash bangs/ tear gas / riot shields and hand grenades ( for the Army ). Also would be great if the police had a high powered water cannon for Riots at their headquaters. Would be fun to use against NPC's. And a Grenade Launcher that can launch tear gas ( for more fun with NPC's, seeing them crying and vomiting ). Exactly.... There must be some difference in stealing different cars. Normal cheap cars can be stolen easily, whereas high end sports car, specially modified cars (if car modding available) must be time consuming & hard to stole. Even some cars should have tracker fitted into it. Which sends signals to police & owner till it is active. So then we'll have to take it to secret garage at the far end of the map to deactivate the tracker. & if the tracker is kept active, police could trace the signal to try to hunt down the criminals. Actually it's a expensive exotic car & you should perform some steps before you can store it to garage. Same shit is there with evading the wanted stars.. I mean this is really stupid how you can evade 6 star wanted level only by sleeping on bed. There should be something like, you & your gang should defend your safe house at-least for certain time, then only you can enter & save the game. Defending your area & safe house from police & other rival gangs is really cool & must be there in V. -
Parkour/ Free-running in GTA5

Hell No.... -
I want more interaction with the overall environment. Like... 1) If we cant enter more buildings then at-least make the ladders climbable. So we can hide & run on rooftops like in MAFIA. It will be usable in Drug wars, Gang Wars etc. Even it can affect the main story missions also. Like sniping from high buildings near your mission location etc... 2) As many people said before, cars physics should be improved. Like damage to the car must vary in different situations. Like if cars strikes lightly then it should brokedown or axels/rims should bend, speed slows down. If it fell from high, tires should pop-out first then car may catch fire & then it might explode... 3)Also the damage because of weapons should be greatly improved. Same weapon should make different damage to different materials. Like damage to metal & plastic or concrete should be visibly different. 4)Picking up small things & throwing wasn't incorporated much in IV. I think that should also be in V. Because picking & throwing little things like chairs, tyres towards people is great fun. This way we don't get wanted level as we might get while shooting or even with knifing. 5)The ability to grab people & throw away (not too far). This also seems fun. What I want to say is some more interaction with the surrounding than IV. The little things like this makes the game more fun & enjoyable...

Haha Haha LOL Cant Stop Laughing But even I don't want to see NED as protagonist. But if it is so, then he surely will die of a Heart Attack as you said...
