I'm playing GTA 3 DE now, it's not as bad. I mean there are some glitches in textures sometimes, but nothing critical. Controls are much much more modern and convenient. Some textures and lighting are too modern, so some people may find that the game lost its original feeling. It's true, but anyway it's the same game, it just looks a bit more modern. The old GTA 3 was like Max Payne - grey, sad and atmospheric, the GTA 3 DE looks vibrant but has lost something.
