GTA V girlfriends, clothing and internet ?
DuffMan replied to asdfguy's topic in GTA 5 Pre-Release Discussion (Closed)
Hopefully they'll get rid of the friends/girlfriends mechanic altogether. It was a very boring distraction from the main story. I'm sure Rockstar knew that themselves because they put in an option to silence your phone so you didn't get nuisance phone calls from people who are too retarded to get some food by themselves. -
GTA 5 release date hidden in trailer?

Had this thread a few times already. -
On the contrary. The first clause on their contract is that they must euthanise their children. Wives are hired to work the canteen, but have to live in the staff quarters and internet access is limited to cooking recipes.

Mercedes was the best 25 euros I ever spent. I drunk marney under the table and got him to pay the other 25. Now she gives it to me for free

No Luis Lopez in GTA V

I heard Stephen Hawking won't be in GTA V. -
Machete (2010) Funny and action-y. Jessica Alba is fucking beautiful. The expensive B-movie effects are nice and original (pretty sure they were done intentionally anyway). But mostly you'll want to watch it for Alba and Michelle Rodriguez 8/10 if you like a film that doesn't take itself too seriously.

What are you looking for in GTA5?

Split-screen won't happen. The hardware wouldn't cope with loading two areas of the city at once. -
What will totally ruin GTA V for you?

Play it on 360. Party Chat has just about removed that. -
I really hope I get to see some of the girls I know who have had stupid tattoos done in 20-30 years time. They look daft now, would love to see how much worse it gets.

Bet he keeps a pile of straw on the floor just in case

CofE was definitely the lesser of two evils. I was too young to really give a fuck, could just mumble if I didn't feel like singing and we went to a church service once a year. In year 6 we sat at the front of the church behind the vicar or whoever it was taking the service, and my 'girlfriend' (you know those stupid relationships you get in primary school, some girls get like 10 boyfriends) kept kissing me. Dunno if anyone noticed.
-
Would be surprised. I'm sure it takes more than a year to learn a new console and create a working game for it. If the dev kits are only just going out, that's what we'd be looking at.

I went to a CofE primary school and had those Come and Praise books. Hymn 98 was great, was the closest we got to rock in assemblies.

[not] GTA V NEW INFORMATION *
DuffMan replied to jjcanonymos's topic in GTA 5 Pre-Release Discussion (Closed)
They have to hire spastics once in a while to prove they aren't prejudiced. They usually get them to wash dishes in the staff canteen though. Incidentally, near the end of the story in GTA V you suffer a stroke, and getting to work and washing the dishes forms the final mission. -
If you never get that, you're playing it wrong.

We had a substitute Chemistry teacher for half a year in year 9. He was a bit eccentric, and one day walked in and said "right then, I've got some spare sodium sitting downstairs. Let's see what happens when we drop it in water". We'd already seen this party trick so we didn't think much of it at the time, we just thought it would be an easy lesson. He took us outside where we had a grassy area on the other side of a large glass panel. He got a bucket of water, and grabbed a jar of something from the window. Inside it was a fist-sized lump of sodium. He threw it in the bucket from 6ft away and ran for cover. The explosion was huge, the bucket was shredded and smoke was billowing from it for a couple of minutes. Looking up, you could see people on the maths block on the third storey looking out the window thinking wtf is going on. Like a total ledge, the teacher then said "well, that was pretty conclusive, but this is science and we need to do repeats to confirm what we've observed didn't happen by chance." So sure enough, he grabbed another bucket, filled it with water, and another lump of sodium, and made a similar basketball-style dunk to get it into the bucket and ran for the hills. After that firework went off, he said "for the purposes of today's experiment, I think that will do for now. I suggest we make our way back up to the lab, I don't remember telling the headmaster we'll be doing this and he's probably wondering what's going on in his school". Best substitute teacher ever.

Far Cry 2 was crap. You couldn't do anything without being constantly ambushed, it just took forever to get anywhere. Enemies had super x-ray vision, stealth wasn't a tactic as you would have expected in a dense jungle environment. And the whole malaria thing was a pointless game mechanic too, the fact you would die without warning because you didn't press LB every so often to take your malaria pills. So no, I'm not particularly interested in FC3.

In year 12 I was put on a ban from home study with a load of others - which basically meant you weren't allowed to go home during free periods when the other sixth formers could - for hanging posters around the school. One day when we all had the final period (after lunch) free, we all went into a classroom a mile away from anyone else and hung out. It got boring and a couple of people started pissing around on the teacher's wheelie chair. 15 minutes later we had all the tables lined up across the room and did drag races on the chairs across the tables, the winner being the one who hit the floor at the end first. The next day, I was told I was taken off my ban from home study for good behaviour.

What vehicles would you like to see?
DuffMan replied to BuickBoy's topic in GTA 5 Pre-Release Discussion (Closed)
Hopefully they'll have some kind of clutch system with the handbrake button so you can rev the car up, release the handbrake and do a proper launch start/burnout. In IV you could rev it but you wouldn't go any faster, the revs would die as you pull away so it was a pointless exercise. I'm pretty sure thats incorrect. If driving a rear wheel drive vehichle, I think it did make a difference. It causes the car to go through the first gear faster. It would always hit the rev-limiter. I want to see wheelspin and everything, anyway. -

Wish I could buy this cunt. I won't have time to play it properly until March though . I wonder how long it'll take for a GOTY edition to come out.

I hope Sweet still has the Hydra on his roof since I unlocked it in GTA SA.
