  1. I like that you briefly changed it to a pic of you in a hat after I mentioned that. Thats because its linked to my facebook and when I change it there it changes it here.
  2. The guy whose head Trevor is stomping "Drive" style looks like Johnny. Not saying it is, but it looks like him.
  3. The two new screenshots we got of Franklin today...I mean...it can't just be me...but does it seem like the police are always after the black man?
  4. If you divorce someone, then marry them again. You know what you're getting into. Thats all I'm saying.
  5. Well I will just hold on to it like the aging beauty queen that I am!
  6. i just threw up in my mouth. That lady followed me around all night. It was creepy.
  7. <----- AS SEEN OVER THERE. Except larger.I'm the younger fellow and former SML winner.
  8. After reading a few pages, everyone seems to be favoring Trevor. He appears to me as a redneck. I can dig that. I don't care so much about his crazy/psychotic behavior. I can just relate to the redneck thing. As being southern and redneck go hand in hand. To answer the question, I think I'll(much like everyone it seems) play as Trevor the most. He seems to be the "everyman" of the group. If that makes any sense.
  9. I am really into the redneck looking character, as I can easily relate.
  10. It better be big...it is the Big MT after all.
  11. I wish the Morag Tong would make a return, but I'm almost positive thats a Dunmer/Morrwind exclusive faction. If you're wondering, it was an assassin's guild like the Dark Brotherhood(the DB is actually a splinter of the Morag Tong) but it was legal. They gave you writs of execution, and you could kill someone in broad daylight, give your writ to the guard and be on your way. Was beautiful.
  12. New info New Dragon Shouts: "Yol Toor"- Fire breath, "Iiz Slen" - Ice crystals, "Strun Bah Qo" - Lightning Storm. There are two others mentioned, not in the Dragon Language, Slow Time and Whirlwhind Spirit (Move quickly in one direction) Dragons: If injured enough, they can't fly randomly appear battles are unscripted Dual weilding: Weapon and Shield, Weapon and Torch (Yes, Torch as a weapon), Weapon and Weapon, Spell and Weapon, Spell and Spell, Two Handed Weapon Random Quests: Were inspired by Fallout 3's random encounters Didn't like how fake some quests in Oblivion felt, Bethesda wants to make it feel mor real with these Crafting: 13 different types of ore Dialogue: 60,000 line of recorded dialogue, more voice actors The Game World: Each city has a unique economy, which the player can sabatoge Guards no longer as powerful as they could end up being as Oblivion 9 seperate bounties, one for each hold, wanted criminal in one place; "Who's that" in another. Traveling: Horses - More detailed then Oblivion, actually handle like horses Fast Travel - Oblivion and Morrowind style Skills: Hand to Hand has been removed Factions: Three confirmed so far: Thieves' Guild, College of Winterhold (Mage) and Compainions (Warrior), their storylines are no longer unaware of other events in the world I'm particularly excited about the faction thing. No more of this "Crisis in the world? Hogwash! You need to kill rats/gather herbs/steal something/assassinate someone." And for those of you wanting to know why the Mages guild is no more, let your resident ES nerd inform you! Sometime after the Oblivion crisis the Empire fell completely, the mages guild went with it. I'm not sure if the Fighters Guild shared the same fate though...I read the book, but that was over a year ago...so I don't remember what they said about them.
  13. I don't like how the article called it "Bethesda's well built world" or whatever they said. New Vegas was made by Obsidian...Bethesda only published this one. I feel the same way, although growing up in the south, I am probably more of what you would call a religious person than anyone in this forum(though I don't approach it blindly, I do question a lot of it.) I actually like when games incorporate religion and such. Lets you realize, like you said, how important it is to society. So many people these days shut religion out, but the bible is beautifully written, and even if it is completely false the stories still have good points to them. My whole point is, in a world that is increasingly "Atheist/Agnostic/Whatever", its good to see them still touch on the subject, or even make it one of the major factors in a story.
  14. For real. I'm excited for this game now. Now that I've spent the past few days getting caught up on all that I've missed.
  15. According to his family tree, my ancestors on his side were mostly Slavic Jews. I've probably said stuff before on this forum, but hell that was my amateur sleuthing which apparently yielded poor results. So... Based on the information above, that is a definite maybe. Haha, Its passed through the mother I think, so that counts me out. On topic though, I've been meaning to go back and play Dead Money again. Last time I played I was a low level and couldn't pass any of the checks... this time, it will be different.
  16. Interesting note, after telling my Jewish dad about this game(and particular addon) he informed me that Joshua led the tribes of Israel to take over Canaan. I forgot what he said about Daniel, I'll have to ask him next time I see him or talk to him. Seeing as he lives hours away and usually only talks about religion, that probably won't be for a while.
  17. Thats what Ive been doing the past hour or so, I missed a lot of the caves on my playthrough so I'm goin back...they're not on the map until you find them and thats so cool. Read about V22...wow.
  18. Oh I'm running into them now. I didn't really pay attention to the literal writing on the wall...
  19. I didn't know there was a connection to Vault 22... I just happened to be doing there stands the grass or whatever its called. Awesome! I'm heading back to Utah now to unravel this mystery!
  20. Yes that is the soundtrack for Vault 22. The voices are very predominant. It's normal for New Vegas. There is also a ranger outfit, desert ranger. Like the NCR Rangers. The long coat with the gas mask like head gear. Pretty cool. I had Joshua repair it up to max. I just completed the DLC. Note that there are two endings, so you can't get all 5 achievements in one go. I went first for the Joshua Graham (Burning Man) ending. Got 4/5 achievements completed. Tired now, so will complete the Daniel ending tomorrow night. I preferred the Graham ending. And I didnt know about the Desert ranger armor, and about Vault 22, can you make out anything they're saying? I'm so very intrigued by that.
  21. This isn't HH related, but Bones, Synch, Massacre, will you guys go into Vault 22, go into the lowest level, turn your volume up and tell me if you hear voices...like...I don't know a broadcast trying to come through...its eerie. EDIT: Its apparently the whole vault thats like that.
  22. Not all of the weapons are tribal, Graham carries a beautiful .45 Sub Machine Gun, and a .45 Pistol. The only armor I stumbled upon in the world that wasn't tribal was a park rangers hat. There is a Melee weapon from fallout 3 that makes a return, it surprised me. Hmmm, I mean when you beat the DLC you get a nice trunk full of goodies. I really liked the DLC because it felt like a different world, Zion is almost untouched by the Great War...I mean the man made portions show damage, though. The first time rain started falling I was in slight awe. I mean, its not impressive at all, it just, you know, never rains in a Fallout game. I don't even remember rain in Point Lookout.
  23. I finally got it working, and I'll agree 100% with Synch. Its a very interesting download, Talking with Joshua is very interesting, you learn more about Caesar and the events leading up to the First Battle of Hoover Dam. So far the new companion I have is pretty cool, and I have wild wasteland, some guy with a hilarious name came out of the cave Graham was in and did a cheer and went back in. And I'm only in the second or so quest...as in I JUST met the burned man.
  24. Well if you can play it, good for you. I cant. I may take a video of what happens and youtube it and put it on here. Checked the official forums, they offered absolutely no help. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=13urzRdPp6c
  25. Well Massacre, I've tried to go into Zion 3 times and it has frozen up. Honestly(no pun intended), What the fuck is wrong is Obsidian/Bethesda? I love the game to death, but what the fuck?
