Sooo....the add on is delayed now?... Man thats disappointing. I hope its longer than dead money, because like you said Bones, it seems like a very important piece of the story... I'm not even sure where dead money fit in. But it was cool to meet Dean Domino.

I knew it was fake by how terrible the outfit that Niko is wearing is. -
I'm a little disappointed that New Vegas won't have any post ending gameplay...that's what I liked about fallout 3 and its expansions, I didn't have to start ALL the way over if I missed something. And wish they'd bring back the perk at every level...been playing fallout 3 a lot lately and its so nice to get a perk every level.

After hearing Todd Howard talk about this game and why they took some stuff out...my fears have kind been eased.

Man that's gross. But...I can't wait, I've been dying for some new DLC. Dead Money was a bit disappointing.

hahahahaha that is great. I always though that since war broke out, he got his revenge, and his whole family is dead, he would just enlist because he "ain't got nothing to live for anyway". -
Protagonist Revisited

I imagine they would have an elder as a sort of mentor to the main character, and if they did make his religion a part of the game, perhaps he would be struggling with staying true to his faith and doing the things he is having to do. -

Because of this thread I've started playing again. Usually by myself...and playing Undead Nightmare trying to get the achievements for it that I don't have. Anyone else wish they would have released more single player DLC? I mean, there is so much that could be done with Jack, maybe even have the story involve World War One. And I know a lot of you didn't like Jack, but you have to remember a lot of the "gunslingers" back then were in fact young men as opposed to the older grizzled gentlemen movies and books have made us fall in love with. -
Maybe you'll get your wish haha. I sent it to them.

SURPRISE I'm about to bitch about another game. I swear its like developers just want to make games easier and shittier to see if we will buy them. That being said, I loved SR, I loved SR2, the Third has me kinda questioning it. I mean, they've taken out a few features that make Saint's Row, Saint's Row. Fuck it, I'll probably end up buying this game though. And Bones, you were asking what kind of city it was, I believe its supposed to be based heavily on Chicago...I mean, just like the other Saints Rows were...but a different city. I don't know, don't care. Who wants to play with me?

I have decided that I don't like Cole Phelps face.

Actually, The Elders Scrolls came before Fallout, so Fallout is a guns 'n wasteland Elder Scrolls game. And I am an Elder Scrolls nerd to the MAX, and I'm even questioning this title. They've dropped so much shit that been in there since the first game its ridiculous. The Athletics skill, the Acrobatics skill, the Mysticism School of Magic, and worst of all, no more classes. Mind you Fallout hasn't had a class list, but that isn't a game that needs one. I want to assume they have done away with birthsigns as well.(again only an assumption) If so fuck this game. In oblivion they took away Mark and Recall spells and put in a fast travel system BULLSHIT! That was part of the fun of the other games, having to travel everywhere, it really put you into the world, immersed you. I mean, you could fast travel via boat or silt strider, but only to other ports and silt strider docks. This game used to be deep, a real RPG, and I mean, I do like some of the improvements but a lot of them I see trying to bring the game to the mainstream. Its sad that it is all about money these days. Make bullshit games that don't require you to think...The old games? You get a quest, they tell you where it is, you find it on your own. They'll mark it on your map, but that doesn't mean its easy to get there. New games? Quest, fast travel to spot close to it, done, fast travel back. BULLSHIT. Fuck Joe Anybody and John Q. Public, and maybe Jane Doe if she is hot! My nerd reactor is overheating.

CJ? Better than Niko, Johnny, and Luis? You're funny. He will be the next act at Split Sides no doubt. -

Wii2 and possible GTA5 rumour.
TwoFacedTanner replied to DuPz0r's topic in GTA 5 Pre-Release Discussion (Closed)
oooo, I bet it'd piss someone off if the released San Andreas Stories on Wii2. Not that I think they'll go back to the GTA3 era... -
I know I'm a bit late to this party, but I am totally not buying this day one. I got really excited about it at first, but the more I look at it, the more it seems to be hyped up with its detective stuff. I mean, sure that is cool and all, but does anyone remember why Mafia II sucked? There was nothing to do outside the missions. You answer police calls? Cool I get it. It isn't mission based, you just move from desk to desk. Yawn. I mean, I don't mind playing as a cop, I did it in the Driver series(don't get me started on the new one), I did it in The Getaway, and I did it in NARC, and I did it in my favorite cop game ever True Crime, but this game just isn't selling it to me anymore. So what you have fancy facial animation, if the game isn't worth playing but a few times over, there is no way its worth $60. Now if this game comes out and is as good as they are saying, and mind you this is the only Rockstar title I've been iffy about, then I'll schedule a community gang rape so all of you can take out your frustrations and hatred toward me.

I already hate Niko, I started hating him when Johnny got introduced...hell, I like Luis more than Niko...I like Rosenberg more than Niko. -
So I have been playing GTAIV and its episodes, and it made me think about this. Now, I know it isn't going to happen, but if you had the choice who would you like to play as again and why? My pick is Johnny K. He is definitely my favorite of the three, and out of the three, he seems he has the most reason to leave Liberty City. His gang is pretty much gone, there isn't a clubhouse, his best friend died, he live in a shit hole, the girl he loves is so hooked on meth shes not there anymore. His life went down the tubes. Hell, the man didn't even own another outfit. haha Whereas Niko has all his friends, three apartments, his cousin's cab business(if Roman is alive) and his choice of ladies. Luis? Luis is in the same boat as Niko, he had a hard time, but came out on top. I could see Johnny joining a Vice City/Los Santos/Fierro/Venturas chapter of The Lost, or even starting a new club all together...or maybe not, maybe he takes his life in a new direction. Anyway, enough about my opinion, I want to hear yours.

Same here friend. Well kinda... Morrowind was my favorite so far, I didn't like Arena, Daggerfall was pretty good but too hard, and Oblivion was watered down. My biggest fear is that this is going to get watered down even more than Oblivion did. I played 350+ hours on Morrowind over a year straight, I always seemed to find something new I hadn't found before, there were tons of factions to join, it was just great. Oblivion I played a couple months at a time. I have literally done every quest in that game...and the factions...My god they were terrible...I mean, more dynamic but what was it...like 5 of them you could join? I missed the Faction warfare that was in Morrowind, how the Fighters guild didn't like the Theives guild, and the fighters and mages weren't happy with each other....then there was the Imperial Cult and the Dunmer temple that were going at it, then the Legion...I loved the legion. All the areas in Morrowind were diverse too, it was exciting to go to them, Oblivion was pretty, but so bland. I know I'm talking a lot about oblivion, but its only because I'm afraid Skyrim will be more of the same. BTW, they're using a completely new game engine.

What are you looking for in GTA5?

Oh, you mean Gary. Yeah, I guess you can borrow him, I'll get fertilizer for my garden somewhere else. You should really start stockpiling the shit...for situations like this.
