He was focusing on the city, not the whole map.

I hope you're right... That looks about right to me. The freeway would be roughly the same width as GTA IV's bridges, and they're pretty close there. The IV map needs to be scaled up just a bit. I don't think our banana-flavored friend was exactly right about the size of the city, but Los Santos proper does look a little smaller than Liberty. If you compact Liberty (no rivers), it's a lot closer, but I still think Liberty is a tad larger.

Fast Five falls into the heist category. This new one seems to also be heist-related, but from the other side of things, trying to stop the people doing the heists.

Who else are the soldiers supposed to kill? It tends to be a big deal if you kill black people or Jews these days. These Muslims need to calm down. We'll move on to another group in 20 years or so, and then Muslims will be untouchable.

Yep. Soldier gets killed, everyone's a patriot. When all's quiet, they hate their country. Way of the world.

Dead Money - around level 20 Honest Hearts - you can handle it at pretty much any level Old World Blues - mid to late 20's Lonesome Road - mid to late 20's Get to level 20, buy all of them, and play them in the order I listed, for the best experience. While each DLC has its own story, there's a main story that runs alongside and beneath the first three DLC's that sets up Lonesome Road, so they're best played in the order they were released.

Obama would make it worse. That's pretty much all he does. Ask someone from some other country what their leader would do.

Well done. I wouldn't have gone with that song, but the compilation itself is well done. Also, the Michael, Franklin, and Trevor stills would look better at the start of the trailer. They look out of place right in the middle of it. Merged into fakes topic.

This isn't the Asylum. Fuck off.

It was always there.

Meh. Microsoft clearly wants to make a TV service that coincidentally plays games. Fable III was disappointing, Gear of War is over. I find it unlikely I'll be needing the new Xbox in the near future. All I need to do now is think of a witty comment for the PS4, in case they also decide to do something shitty.

Play the games, proud american.

I probably should've checked the Vault sooner, especially after I told Craze to go there. The New England Commonwealth consisted of Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. Only Massachusetts is referred to as 'The Commonwealth,' I guess, but I could see parts of these other states included in the same way that Maryland and Virginia were included in 3, or California (Nipton) in New Vegas. The 13 Commonwealths: http://fallout.gamep...ates_of_America http://fallout.gamep...om/Commonwealth http://fallout.gamep...nd_Commonwealth Mod-related edit: I deleted all the hidden posts in this topic. Tired of clicking the last post and ending up on the wrong page. Things should be more orderly now.

Well, the Old World divided into 13 commonwealths before the Great War. 'The' Commonwealth, the one mentioned in Fallout 3, is the New England Commonwealth, which includes Massachusetts and a couple irrelevant states. Also, if you remember from Fallout 3, Dr. Li leaves D.C. for the Commonwealth after the final quest, and there was the Railroad, the group that freed slaves and androids. We'll probably be running into both of them.
-
I'm pretty curious how things would go in the Commonwealth. The Institute is supposed to be the most technologically advanced place left in world, but the east coast Brotherhood doesn't have much interest in that sort of thing anymore. With the Enclave essentially wiped out, it's possible that Brotherhood Outcasts, if they've gone that far north, could be antagonists if Fallout 4 is indeed set in the Commonwealth. Also, if that's the setting, I predict the protagonist is an android. Androids would be a much bigger deal in a game set in the place they were created.

The Brotherhood underestimated a group once before, and their leader died because of it. They wouldn't make the same mistake with a larger and more organized group like the Legion. And the Legion isn't getting any support from the wastelanders, because they have a tendency to pull a Nipton on any non-tribal settlements they come across, and the Brotherhood has had the support of the wastelanders as far back as the original Fallout. Fear of tech never really caught on in the Fallout universe, save some minor exceptions. There aren't many anti-tech fanatics out there.

No. Gtfo.

The issue with the Legion is that they're integrating tribals, not regular wastelanders. Tribals are dumb and uncivilized, and can be easily manipulated by someone intelligent and conniving like Caesar. Their armies won't be expanding if they find themselves in a full-on war with the NCR, and there's a lot more NCR in California than the Mojave. Not to mention the Brotherhood wild card. The Legion wants the Brotherhood destroyed, but the Brotherhood and NCR are capable of working together. If the Legion encountered the Brotherhood in force, they'd be fucked. The Brotherhood is better equipped (a turret or sentrybot is worth 2 veteran legionaries), and better trained than the Legion. If they decide to work with the NCR, the Legion wouldn't have a chance at expanding west. You should head to The Vault and read up on the lore. It's really fascinating.

New Vegas takes place roughly 40 years after Fallout 2. As of New Vegas, the NCR has only been in the Mojave for three years, and their soldiers and equipment are spread thin. They're not expanding very quickly or by very much. The Brotherhood has barely spread at all, and they don't even have a real presence in the east, because the DC Brotherhood has separated from the main group entirely. Not to mention that the vast majority of the activity in the east is right along the coast. There's very little between the Mojave and the east coast. It's the same way in real life, really. Flyover country, man, nothing to see there.
-
It won't affect Fallout 4, I'm sure, same as 3 didn't effect New Vegas. In NV, they mentioned a civil war of sorts in the Brotherhood of Steel, some of the stupid Super Mutants from DC made their way to the Mojave, and that's pretty much the extent of the Fallout 3 references. Fallout 4 will probably be the same way.

**moves to Australia** Their dollar is worth 2 cents more than ours and everything seems to be at a markup compared to the states. Don't bother. Also, the place is filled with giant, man-eating spiders and kangaroos wearing boxing gloves.

Same. It's going to take Fallout, GTA, or a Saints Row that doesn't look like a copy/paste of 3 to get me to buy a PS4. Watchdogs and Infamous: Second Son aren't games you have to play? Watch_Dogs is on PS3, too. No need to buy a PS4 for that. And Second Son, like the previous two games, won't keep people busy long enough to be worth buying a console for.
