Who did you follow in Helgen? I ran a couple of characters through Helgen just so I would be through the tutorial when I wanted to start a new character. My Redguard is Imperial, but for everyone else, I went Stormcloak. I just can't see any reason to join the Empire, they're a bunch of assholes.

I haven't run into any Elven weapons yet. I only have the armor because I ran into a trio of Thalmor guys carting a Stormcloak off to Whiterun and decided to liberate my comrade.

You always have the choice of telling them to fuck off. I used that all the time when I was in school. I was transferred from a regular English class to a Creative Writing because my teacher started to say something about a 2000-word essay and I just said "Dude, fuck you," and walked out. My new teacher was much more easy-going, I wrote a profanity- and violence-filled short story about a zombie outbreak and he raved about it for the rest of the week.

Nah, I just couldn't pull myself away from the missions. I really got into this one. Starting a slower file today. Every single mission has at least one over-the-top ridiculous moment. Except the eight or so mini-missions that introduce you to the same fucking side activities you've been doing since SR1. They're classified as real missions, but they're not. They're side activities with dialogue.

Fuck that. No school could have made me do that shit. That's fucking stupid.

No new consoles until 2015, or I start killing puppies.

That's pretty much all I keep my companions around for, other than the occasional troll. Although I can drop a troll in three swings now. Perks and Orcish Warhammer ftw.

That was Carlos. And Pierce is actually pretty cool this time around. Still can't get over what a badass Shaundi turned into after... Well, you know what happens. Also, I beat this last night. Two different endings, different rewards for each. Two really stupid but fun outfits from an earlier mission, but they were so stupid they had to save them for after the game. You get to replay the final mission for the other ending, and that's the only one you get to replay. Yes, they took out re-playable missions. You also can't re-watch the cutscenes. Great game, though.

Prayers? Did you go to a Catholic school, then?

Not if they wanted to make an accurate NYC. GTA V is going to have countryside, and that makes sense because there's countryside around LA, but I wouldn't want them to put random empty space around Liberty because it wouldn't feel right to me.

I suppose you could just use health potions, but you'll be using a lot more of those than you would magicka potions while healing with spells.

Shit, I've done that for fun before. Never thought I could use it to make money. *Sets out to become a gas engineer*

New Leaked GTA5 map? [And Image?]

Only our benevolent leader could turn a typo into a knock at Marney. -
If you ever plan on getting it for PC (which I would suggest, because of the mods), be 100% sure you can run it on high, at least. I'm playing on medium and I still think it's the best thing I've ever seen, but snow and moss will look shit in certain places. I assume most of the people on here have a decent CPU and RAM, so it really just comes down to what your graphics card is. As for non-PC advice, if you're dying a lot, just invest in magicka potions and use healing spells. I tend to wildly swing axes or burn shit alive, so I haven't taken any perks for restoration, but I know the two-handed and one-handed weapons perks can make you damn near overpowered very quickly, so I imagine it's the same for restoration. Also, just don't go near the giants, no good can come of it.

Marney said that, not Skribble. Inb4 edit. I only mentioned this because I've never gotten to 'inb4' before. -
That's an empowering story of redemption, Marney.

Shaundi and I think Pierce have different voice actors. Shame, Eliza make the character pretty awesome. Shaundi's awesome in this game, too, would've been nice to get Eliza back for this one.

Great attempt, surely in the top five fakes not made by Dup or Fitty. -
Any PS3 owners buying SR3 and don't have SR2 yet? http://blog.us.playstation.com/2011/11/16/scea-and-thq-announce-additional-content-for-saints-row-the-third-owners-on-playstation-3/

Oh, the fucking rally points. Yeah, I hated those. After a while, I memorized the patterns and got 1st in most of them. The rocket combat races are easy, though, they'll waste time trying to shoot me while I'm just hauling ass along the track. The combat races are easier than the non-combat, in my opinion. As for Skyrim, when I first reached the top of the game's largest mountain, the view completely surpassed exiting Vault 101 for me, it's that epic. The graphics are incredible, the character models are some of the best I've ever seen, and the first time a dragon lands in front of you? Shit, you'll be blown away ( sometimes literally, if you're too distracted by the graphics to get out of the fire). The combat is harder than Fallout, but the crafting (alchemy/enchanting/blacksmithing/cooking) will produce enough supplies to keep you alive. In fact, you can go through to game without buying any items at all if you keep up with your crafting. Think Fallout, with bows and magic instead of guns, and infinitely more badass armor and melee weapons. The enemies are more varied and more intimidating (A simple mammoth or troll could scare off a deathclaw and never have to fight it), and they all drop something related to crafting. There are at least eight cities, that I can think of, with tons of smaller settlements all over. There are buildings and ruins everywhere, but the world is so huge it never feels cramped. As impressed by the game as I am, and as engaged in it as I am, when I play it, I can't help but think about how incredible Fallout 4 is going to be on this engine. If nothing else, rent the game so you can at least get an idea of what Skyrim is like, and what the next Fallout is going to be like.

What are you looking for in GTA5?
Massacre replied to Qdeathstar's topic in GTA 5 Pre-Release Discussion (Closed)
Like I said, III and IV Liberty City were different because III's version looked nothing like NYC, but Los Santos in SA was pretty close to how the real LA looks, so I don't think a V version of Grove Street (regardless of what it's called) is impossible. -
It was a very satisfying moment.

There should be an option to save "On Travel," which saves the game whenever you go fast travel, and I think whenever you go from one area to another (anything that has a loading screen). Also, if you're playing on PC (I would think you'd have one that could run this), F5 quicksaves.
-
Um, it was New York City. NYC doesn't have any of that.

Glad to see it's going better than Oblivion.
