There are a lot of dead threads for good shows, because there isn't much to talk about, or desire to talk about it. Rather see where this goes, first.

I think I'm the only one here who takes advantage of Gamestop's pre-owned game return policy, to play games like this for free. If the game is as short as I've heard, this thing will never sell for a price low enough for me to be okay with.

Actually, based on what I've seen, we'll all know how we want to do a Fallout MMO, once The Division is out. It seems like they're doing it right, in terms of both population management, and MMO on console. I hope it actually happens, this year. I was fine with the delays, when I didn't have a PS4. Now, it's bothering me.

The large population is easy enough to manage. Just split us into factions, instead of playing as a vault dweller. Raider NCR Tribal NCR gets the Boneyard, Tribals get Arroyo, Raiders get New Reno. Areas are divided like TESO, but you're free to enter another faction's land, as long as you avoid the capital city. There would still be loot everywhere, but multiple people can grab the same loot. Certain areas can only be entered alone, or with an organized party, for when they need to build tension (ruin full of ghouls), certain quests are for certain factions only, etc. It's plenty doable. I'm aware that tribals can freely enter the Boneyard (I think I'm the only one here who knows Fallout/Fallout 2 lore, actually), but this is a gameplay-trumps-lore scenario.

Most MMOs are pretty isolated, these days. People hit level cap in a week, and then just stand around the main city in their pretty armor.

To my knowledge, nothing like that happened with the real Silk Road, though the guy who was arrested did claim that he had been set up by the "real" owner. The feds (DEA, in this instance) didn't even know the place existed until those shitbags at Gawker ran a story on it. A few random buyers were caught, but no one who would know who really ran the site. It's very vague how the guy was caught.

Yep. Back when Tor was still worth using, Silk Road was pretty much eBay, for drugs. It was the sort of thing stoners dreamed of, in the time before the internet was interesting. Also, someone made me watch the pilot episode of The Good Wife, once. The title was off-putting, but the show isn't bad. Shows about political or legal intrigue pull me in, way too easily. This has nothing to do with anything, but yeah.
