If there are no witnesses, you're fine. Also, the Rock-It Launcher is a shit weapon. It will never come in handy, in any situation. If your Big Guns skill is high enough for it to do decent damage, it still won't be as good as a missile launcher, tesla cannon, or any other big gun. That, and the ammo for the other guns won't take up valuable inventory weight that could be used for loot. Not that you should be relying on big guns, anyway (unless that's the character build you're going for). If you're bored and want to kill a few molerats, go ahead and make one. The Dart Gun and Shishkebab are the only custom weapons that are practical, and melee weapons aren't that useful, in general, so even the Shishkebab isn't important.

Dishes are never needed. Ignore those. Also, you never need garden gnomes, but take them anyway. Stand them up throughout your house (when you have one).

Especially the fucking gas mask. My gas mask. -
Do you have DLC? Keep cameras, teddy bears, sensor modules, scrap metal, and pretty much any other miscellaneous items. I can't remember which junk items arent useful, because so many eventually come in handy or are needed for a repeatable item turn-in quest. Anything else, just do whatever. With weapons, keep a few options around. Melee, pistol, shotgun, rifle. Sniper rifle, once your small guns skill is higher. Takes too long to line up a shot when your skill is low. The gun swings too much. Just keep the best weapon you have from each class. Keep doubles, you need them for repairs. Grab all ammo, it's weightless. Darts and railroad spikes are ammo, not junk. You'll especially want those darts; there's an epic gun coming, once you find the schematics. Use it on anything fast (just one shot, then switch to another weapon). Save radscorpion poison glands, surgical tubing, toy cars, and paint guns. They're needed when you find the schematic (three different schematics for each weapon, each schematic improves the result when you make a new one). Look at the stats on armor. Wear what's best, keep lightweight items with useful skill bonuses, you'll want them at low levels. At a certain level (different for everyone), you'll have the skills, items, and survivability to survive wearing whatever armor you want. With aid items, you wont need everything. You'll have plenty of Stimpaks, and food will rarely be necessary. Just grab every box of Sugar Bombs you find. Never eat them. Store them until a certain ghoul requests them. I think you might need to save any Jet you find, too. Keep everything in storage. It's not hard to disarm Megaton's bomb, you'll have your house/storage space right away. Or, if your character is evil, don't disarm the bomb (take the quest to disarm it, though), and talk to Burke in Moriarty's Saloon in Megaton. He'll give you a quest that leads to alternative housing. Let me know if you need more. It's been a while since I've played, I might have missed some things.

Fucking Carl. -
Right now, my biggest issue with the game is the pre-order bonus. Allowing people to use any race within any faction is horrendously lore-breaking, more so than anything else they've done so far. Considering how many people pre-order games, there will be enough characters in factions they dont belong in that there will be no reason to have separated the races to begin with. My immersion was ruined before I ever played the game. And good look quickly determining who to attack in PvP.

Khenarthi's Roost is supposedly off the coast of Elsweyr, though it didn't exist before TESO. 'Khenarthi" is the Khajiit name for lthe divine, Kynareth.

Graphics don't really work like that with MMOs. WoW has been out for almost 10 years. New content has improved graphics, but they haven't updated old graphics, aside from the character models that will be updated in the new expansion. An MMO is built for more longevity than the average game. Most MMO players know they're going to be looking at the same graphics for years. The subscription/DLC thing is correct, for the most part. WoW has regular updates, but the last 6 months or so before a new expansion, there's nothing. So, it's not worth the subscription all the time, but you get your money's worth, for the most part. Plus, MMOs, obviously, rely on the community. I took a break from WoW when the guilds I was in died out or I got bored of them. When I came back, I found new guilds and new people, and it was worth my time again. I don't have much faith in the community TESO will have, because I'm a hardcore lore guy, and other lore-appreciating folk aren't happy with the way the story is looking. That's the hardcore and/or roleplaying crowd, the people who keep an MMO afloat. Nobody's relying on the casuals. More than half of Tamriel's map is off-limits in the base game, which is going to give Zenimax lots of content options. Initially. Time will tell if they can pump out worthwhile content consistently.

It just plays like Skyrim, with some extra buttons. The manual attacks are still there, there's just an action bar with extra abilities that you could probably finish the game without using. Not very much like WoW, where your character stands there, taking out .2% of your enemy's health every two seconds if you're not hitting buttons.

Do take note of the fact that I said Bethesda and Obsidian both need to work on Fallout 4. 3's story was better, but New Vegas' gameplay is significantly better. Both companies working on Fallout 4 would leave us with a better game and a shorter wait between games. And we absolutely do not need "New Vegas 2." There is no need for spinoff titles. It makes Obsidian's people look like the B team and not the creators of the series.

Super Bowl XLVIII - Predictions, please...
Massacre replied to complixicata1's topic in Graphics, Media & Entertainment
February 27th. I am wet. -
Not really. The smart thing would be to skip the other game in 2016 and outsource half the work on Fallout 4 to Obsidian, because they know the universe better. That way, Fallout 4 will be better and Bethesda can pour heavier resources into the next Elder Scrolls game a lot sooner. The game could be out as much as one year sooner than we're going to end up getting it. While we're on the subject of poor time management, we'd already be approaching the second major DLC for GTA V (to clarify, the Beach Bum Pack is not major. I mean real DLC) if Rockstar had skipped LA Noire entirely and given Max Payne 3 a smaller hype window.

Olympic sports are equally stupid, but they fuck off for a few years at a time, at least. -
Super Bowl XLVIII - Predictions, please...

I don't give a shit, do whatever. I'll merge it once the Super Bowl is over and football is even more irrelevant than it is now (I know, I know, it's hard to get any less relevant than professional sports). The poll won't be needed once the game is done. -
Pffft.

Fixed.

That's no less than a 4 year wait. No more than 7, though, so, there's that. Fallout 4 will be out first, and Bethesda takes ages to do these things. Fallout 4 announcement around summer. Fallout 4 release, Fall 2015. Fallout 4 DLC January 2016 - Fall 2016. First DLC is Xbox One exclusive for 3-5 months, then all following DLC is available for all systems on their respective release dates. Final patch for Fallout 4 late Fall or early winter 2016, supposedly fixing all the shit Bethesda fucked up. It fixes very little, and fucks more things up. The PC crowd will have gotten these glitches and bugs fixed months ago, because modders always fix it before Bethesda even considers fixing it. Console users remain fucked. Bethesda announces some other game mid-2016, and releases it fairly early in 2017 (no later than July). They remain silent for the rest of the year. Bethesda announces The Elder Scrolls VI in Spring 2017. No one remembers the game that was supposed to come out. The Elder Scrolls VI releases Fall 2018. The world becomes as white as Skyrim due to the collective orgasm and semen flood of the people playing TES VI. The flood occurs again on a much larger scale when a modder makes better HD textures for the PC version.

You know there was a guy named Crowley who was actually relevant, right? Not that I believe you or anyone else playing GTA Online could live up to that Crowley's name.
-
Doubt it. If Rockstar wants GTA Online to stay relevant, they'll either need to start pumping GTA games out a lot faster, or have another R* branch make content exclusively for GTAO between real GTA games.
-
A few exceptions. Meh. That won't become a trend. Unless GTA VI, The Division, and Saints Row V won't require PS Plus, I'll still have to pay for it. I don't see Rockstar going that route, either. We'll all need Plus.
-
You need PS Plus to play anything online on PS4.

Stay out of the hood, Dup. You've got black stank all over you.
