    I used to believe that the game had a chance of coming out in October, but it just doesn't seem like it will. The reason I think this is because if you look at Rockstar's multiplayer event calender you can see GTA IV has a multiplayer event November 29th. I highly doubt anyone would be going back to play GTA IV if GTA V is coming out in October.

    This is the best evidence I could find right now. It doesn't say that R* is going to be there for sure, but it does say that Take Two is going to be there. Since R* wasn't at E3 and Take Two was at E3 and is supposed to be going to Gamescom, I'd imagine they wouldn't show the exact same thing that they did at E3.
