Qdeathstar 1763 Report post Posted January 12, 2012 My signature is only shows part of the image, and none of the quote boxes.. so, whats going on? ktnx.
TreeFitty 2631 Report post Posted January 12, 2012 Considering the space it takes up, maybe there is an actual size constraint for signatures. (?)

Psy 350 Report post Posted January 12, 2012 In the style sheet there's a setting "max height: 250px". In certain browsers, anything else will just be cut off. Should I remove this, or would people rather not see huge sigs?
Guest Marney1 Report post Posted January 12, 2012 In the style sheet there's a setting "max height: 250px". In certain browsers, anything else will just be cut off. Should I remove this, or would people rather not see huge sigs? I'd rather no see huge sigs myself but I can always choose which member's sigs to ignore anyway so I'm easy. Psy 350 Report post Posted January 12, 2012 Thing is, I can probably make it so if anyone's sig is over 250px in height, there'll be a scroll bar so you can view the rest of their sig if you want. But maybe we should just encourage people to not make huge sigs.
TreeFitty 2631 Report post Posted January 12, 2012 It's kind of like a sig size enforcement. I say leave it be.
DuffMan 266 Report post Posted January 12, 2012 I quietly added that a few weeks ago because I was sick of scrolling past massive signatures all the time and having to get a measuring tool out to see if a sig was oversized. Solution is to follow the rules, then it won't get cut off.
Qdeathstar 1763 Report post Posted January 12, 2012 The rules say 250px for images.... nothing about the entire space. I can understand having limits, but how about an announcement or something useful. If your going to do something like that 350px is more reasonable. I guess you admin types are really looking for something to do, ey?
DuffMan 266 Report post Posted January 12, 2012 I don't see why you need 350 pixels of my screen to sign your posts off with, particularly if I'm going to see the same thing 3 or 4 times on one page. I prefer doing it this way than opening up in photoshop and figuring out how much space needs to be taken off, because I have better things to do. You're the first to complain about it so I figure most people are okay with 250px being the limit.
Qdeathstar 1763 Report post Posted January 12, 2012 yawn. It's been doing it for 3-4 weeks, this is the first time i've asked about it. I thought it was my computer fucking it up, turns it was you. If it's so close to the right size that you have to open up photoshop to make sure it ain't 251 pixels, then you need to find something else to do. Let it be. I can easily tell the difference between 250 pixel, and 350, for example. Just saying Psy, Your moderators seem to have a lot of meaningless restrictions on what members can do. Not just this incident, but merging and locking topics in GTA5 because there are threads that are related. Last time i looked GTA 5 general isn't exactly flowing with new topics. The whole point of merging topics is so that good topics don't fall to the second page to make room for four simular topics, but when you average 3-4 topics a day in GTA 5 general this isn't a problem. The key to keeping new members is to make them feel important.. People don't like when you lock their topics, and as active as this place is, it's not really needed. You should consider getting rid of all the staff, or at least stopping them from making rediculous changes and locking topics / banning members "because they are annoying" ... Remember GTA -SanAndreas? You didn't even have a staff until it was requested by members... something to think about.
DuffMan 266 Report post Posted January 12, 2012 Okay boss. I'm still not removing it only to end up cutting yours down to size for you. I think the original question has now been answered. EDIT: to your edit - there's no point keeping multiple topics about the same thing open when they are a few lines apart on the page.
