CaPn bOnEs 8527 Report post Posted May 18, 2012 Why are the mods on here complete assholes? u mad bro?? i just noticed something... the game's main menu looked different than the last time i started it up... and it dawned on me that the main menu reflects where the current save is at, the chapter if you will... i was looking at a flashback max payne last go, and today i was looking at the brazil max payne... and sure enough, when i started the game, it reflected the main menu... what a fucking cool feature that will go unnoticed for quite some time by the masses... the attention to very minor details are what make a R* game IMO... CaPn bOnEs 8527 Report post Posted May 18, 2012 the heart pounding drumbeat when enemies are near sounds really awesome in surround sound... it ramps up the adrenalin for me, despite dying and having to replay that section again... even though i've gotten a lot better at fighting, i am still dying a lot ... it's kind of a flashback to old school games, with a more forgiving checkpoint system ... it's blasting through a clip of ammo at an inconvenient time that tends to get ya... If you want to 100% it and take the challenge of playing through it on all difficulty setting and play all the DLC's which are coming throughout the year then renting would be pointless. I'm playing on medium difficulty using free aim and finding it hard as fuck, I'm not even used to the controls yet. Speaking of controls; When it says 'Press Triangle' to open doors/pick up - I thought my triangle button was knackered because it wouldn't do anything, my missus figured out you have to press the > directional button and triangle together. And pressing X to sprint doesn't seem to make him go any quicker. Haven't tried multipayer yet but I'll be on tonight playing with the R* devs. Should be fun.
