Oh, relax. I can deal with it. Im just saying it is unnecessary and i think it undercuts the shows merit.

Good shows dont usually whore it up.

Don't know if it makes a difference, but there's tons of whoring in the book. They aren't tarting it up just to be titillating, it's actually true to the source material. They've woven a very light thread through very dense original writing.

Unfortunately, no. HBO is really dumb when it comes to online content. Originally the y thought this whole online streaming thing would be a fad. I think they still believe it. I would love to get HBOGO, but I refuse to get cable, so I can't get HBO, so I can't get HBOGO. Unless they've changed their policy.

Don't know if you're much a reader Ku, but try the books or a reading of one of em. If you like the story, they stay true to it in the show, for the most part. It keeps prickly fucks like me and Qd happy, so it can't be all bad.

How fucking dispointing. Im literally sick after the last episode i watched. Season 1 episode before finale.

Yuck.

Get used to it lol.

Also, Joffrey will get under your skin, you will want to crush him if you haven't already felt that way towards him yet.

Just started watching on on Wednesday, on Season 2 now.

Even from before watching, I could gather that there was loads of porn-like scenes, and that I should hate Joffrey. However, I also fucking hate his mom, the queen. She's a huge bitch.

Tyrion, Daenaerys and Arya are my favs. Jon and Bran have interesting storylines, too. You get so much more out of the books, not to sound like a broken record.

Tyrion, Arya and Jon are the most interesting in the books, for me. Daenerys is pretty good too. The series does it justice, but there's so much more details in the book, that it's worth reading the books even if you've watched the series, just for the extra bits.

For example; Daenerys encounter with the warlock had so much more to it in the books, than it did in the series. And the wildfire scene at Kings Landing had more substance in the books, which wasn't even conceived in the series.

Ah, there are countless examples of the same. They've done a very successful job of distilling the books into a great TV series, but easily could have done 2 or 3 seasons per book instead of just one.

I've read the first book and am half way through the second.

The second season has strayed a bit from the books. I think the show will probably overtake the books soon, unless each book from now on is split into 2 seasons.

Edit -

Has anyone read the tales of dunk and egg?

I read The Hedge Knight back in 2006 or so.

I might start reading them soon.

This weeks episode was good, focused a lot on the North. The best scene was

Littlefinger and Varys.

Edit

Jon has split loyalties, it will be interesting to see if he stays with the Wildlings or returns to the Nights Watch.
