They may have the pennant and World Series under control as well; it's definitely theirs to lose at this point. we were 5 1/2 games up earlier in the week, now KC is only 2 1/2 back... we clearly don't have this wrapped up yet... Like I said, I think it's clearly theirs to lose. They're letting KC hang around and compete with them, but I'd be shocked if they didn't win the division at the very least. Right, that's why traditionally the teams with the best OBP are the most successful, since offense is the only true constant in the game and OBP literally translates to with how little frequency you create outs. I don't like sports (except boxing, on occasion), but I get that most of them require a pretty strategic mind, for the coach and certain (but few) team positions. I am not being sarcastic in the slightest when I say that I would love for you to explain what strategy is involved in baseball. The pitcher has to know what pitches to throw to certain batters in certain counts. Lefty Righty matchups. Left handed hitters usually don't hit Left handed pitchers well. So do you bring in the lefty specialist out of the bullpen to get the big left handed hitter out even if your starting pitcher is pitching great in a 1 run game.
