Yeah, toasted some unsalted dry roasted peanuts, gave them a rough chop, and pressed them onto the sides of the buttercream. Vat = about a cup and a half.

That looks really good, do you think honey roasted peanuts would have been a good flavoring with this?

That's a good idea, Brian - I really like the combination of peanut butter and honey, so I'm sure it would taste great...but I also try to balance my desserts so they aren't overly sweet, and buttercream is pretty sweet to start with...maybe salted peanuts would work too. That's the fun part of it, trying new/different things each time. :)

The stray dogs that roam my neighborhood were thrilled. Maybe that's who Subway had in mind for this sandwich.

I saw a veterinarian pet center next to a chinese restaurant.
