TreeFitty 2631 Report post Posted August 16, 2012 Making text move is one thing. Creating 3D text or other custom objects is another. The objects themselves take plenty of time to create (yes, there are programs to make easy 3D text) then animating it just right before adding shine and other crap to make it look "cool". Hell, picking the right colors can be a pain. It's a good amount of work. There are free programs to do 3D objects with but I couldn't tell you how good they are. Each takes time to learn too. Just some things to consider. (correct section btw)
narcolepsy 581 Report post Posted August 16, 2012 That's just a preset. People on youtube release them for free all the time. Acquire AE, load in the project file and change the text. thats all u gotta do
DuPz0r 5361 Report post Posted August 16, 2012 Tips: If you want proper 3D text use Autodesk 3DS Max or Maya. If you want moving vector text use After Effects in combination with a VFX program like Nuke or Fusion. There's thousands of video tutorials on using these products on youtube alone. Duff is the man to listen to here. If 3DS Max or Maya are too difficult though give BluffTitler a run. Allows you to create simple 3D text (with the animation you want) with a green screen in the back so you can simply Chromakey it out and chuck it ontop of your background.
