Brian 972 Report post Posted August 31, 2012 The end is here. Life as you knew it has gone to hell after the mother of all zombie outbreaks. Now you and the few scattered survivors must band together to survive and rebuild in a 3rd-person action game set in a dynamic open world. You choose where to make your stand, designing and fortifying your home base, performing daring raids for food and ammunition, and rescuing other playable survivors with unique talents. The open, sandbox world develops in real-time, shaped by your actions, dynamically generating content based on your choices and the ever-increasing zombie threat. State of Decay is an open world zombie-survival game, currently under development at Undead Labs for release on Xbox 360 / Xbox LIVE Arcade and PC.

ViceMan 1380 Report post Posted August 31, 2012 That element looks somewhat interesting, but if the game itself is mediocre then it is pointless.

JamieMilne 489 Report post Posted August 31, 2012 wish it was on ps3. IGN's first impressions make this game sound awesome to me apart from the rough graphics. http://uk.ign.com/videos/2012/08/31/recruiting-survivors-in-state-of-decay

beatnicpie 825 Report post Posted June 7, 2013 Anyone played it at all? I'm loving it! It can be little simple at times, and reminds me of State of Emergency, but for $20, I am more than satisfied.

Massacre 7646 Report post Posted June 8, 2013 This is now the second fastest-selling Xbox Live game in history, right behind Minecraft. Over 250,000 copies in 48 hours.
beatnicpie 825 Report post Posted June 8, 2013 I just beat it. I'm gonna start a new game as soon as the credits stop rolling. A flawed but wonderful game. I give it an A-. ...and the credits stopped rolling.

beatnicpie 825 Report post Posted June 9, 2013 Hey Beatnic: how big is the map, would you say? I'll go ahead and say it feels big, as I've no data to offer. Walking from one town to another can take forever, especially with zombies all about. Driving is quicker, though not always safer. Sill, a drive can feel long, but not boring. Bowling for zombies in a pick up is a bloody blast! There are three major towns, farmland (with a crashed passenger plane in a field) a campground, backwoods hicks, and a bit more. I'll guess Vice City sized.

Rayge 689 Report post Posted June 9, 2013 There is most likely an Xbox360 timed exclusive, like for the GTA IV DLCs.
DiO 4730 Report post Posted June 10, 2013 no it has to do with the development of the PC version being behind. They make the xbox one then port it over.
MainEvent 52 Report post Posted June 10, 2013 Uberhaxornova ftw! Anyway, I'm crazy excited about this game after what I've seen from trailers and gameplay videos. Too bad I don't own an xbox and I'll have to wait for it to come out on PC...
beatnicpie 825 Report post Posted June 10, 2013 ...or, get blackout drunk with a friend in the woods. When you regain your senses, start attacking all the "zombies" around you and looting whatever you can. That way you save $20.
