Rayge 689 Report post Posted April 20, 2012 i have a feeling that there are going to be a couple of Wacka Flocka Flames songs on the rap station. i just hope there is no Drake and Lil wayne type bitches ahahah You like Waka Flocka but you don't like Lil Wayne? They are both 2 of the shittiest rappers ever, but even Lil Wayne is better than Waka Flocka. Listen to this shit, it actually makes me laugh

Massacre 7646 Report post Posted April 20, 2012 Considering that the 90's was the last time mainstream or popular rap was listenable, he bloody well should be stuck in the 90's.
Rayge 689 Report post Posted April 20, 2012 Wacka flacka and Gucci mane r the shit lil Wayne can eat a dick Marcus no offense but your stuck in the 90s I'm not stuck there, I listen to rappers which are good. Which the majority of which happen to be from the 90s. Hopsin, Black Thought, Talib Kweli, Common, even Wu Tang & Ice Cube are rappers creating new shit that I listen to, because it's not complete materialistic, whack rhyme style shit like Gucci Mane, Waka Flocka, Soulja Boy and YMCMB. I also like it when the lyrics are audible where the rapper doesn't mumble like a someone who is fucking braindead, and when the beats are higher quality that what seems to be able to be made in garage band. Listen to this, seriously. What do you like about it? His lyrics, flow and delivery sucks, it's barely audible. The beat is catchy, maybe suitable for a club but not real "hip-hop". Read the first top rated comment - I couldn't agree with it more.

Rayge 689 Report post Posted April 27, 2012 Once we get informed about the story it will be a lot easier to predict the types of music (at least some) that will be present, because it will most likely correlate with the atmostphere and surroundings, like the previous GTA games. City of Dis 16 Report post Posted May 7, 2012 I thought it might be fun to devise my own GTA soundtrack during the news drought. I personally found IV's to be lacking, so here's hoping for something better. I tried to avoid just picking my favorite songs, and instead choosing songs that would fit the mood of driving around Los Santos (Surfin' USA when by the ocean, Gin and Juice when in the ghetto). Nonetheless, my preferences shine through, and the soundtrack has a certain myopic quality, so it'd be interesting to see what other people come up with. Also, I decided to choose ten songs for each radio station. This benefited some stations and hurt others as I struggled to both cut songs from some stations and find songs for others. I don't recommend this as a rule to anyone who wishes to participate; I just like a superfluous and superficial formality to these inconsequential exercises. Probably OCD or something. Rayge 689 Report post Posted May 7, 2012 I highly doubt there will be east-coast hip-hop, just like there was on west-coast hip-hop on the east coast (LC). Unless there's an "old-school" station from the 80's. As for West Coast, you missed out a lot of people: Above The Law MC Ren Cypress Hill CPT's Most Wanted (MC Eiht) The D.O.C Da Lench Mob (and more of Ice Cube) Daz Dillinger Kurupt Eazy.E Warren G Kid Frost Ice T Too Short Just to name a few. And there's almost definitely going to be a "The Beat 103.7" type station with the modern hip-hop/pop type stuff that's so popular and on the radio. But you seem to have a good, diverse taste in music, which is good.

DVDMattR 1 Report post Posted May 17, 2012 I hope they don't put any mainstream music of today, it sucks! Rockstar does a great job with the music, adding some unknown music and getting it notoriety. Though IV did seem to miss out on some songs, but I enjoyed the soundtrack. I'm hoping for rock, pop, & no Lil Wayne, lol.

Rockstar are masters at creating a soundtrack for the games. The tracks are so diverse ranging from some underground metal to mainstream hip-hop, and GTA can also introduce you to some great music.
