Ku Zi Mu 1194 Report post Posted February 14, 2013 Looks horrible. I hope it's atleast comfortable if they stick with it.
DuPz0r 5361 Report post Posted February 14, 2013 possible new controller one of the ign psn team said on twitter that a trusted source told him it was 100% real, but also just a prototype Looks like an xbox conroller, all bloated.
Qdeathstar 1763 Report post Posted February 14, 2013 I think the main selling in this generation will be dvr capabilities.
GunSmith 2452 Report post Posted February 14, 2013 1TB and above...For those who are knowledgeable, why can't modern discs hold that much?

Qdeathstar 1763 Report post Posted February 15, 2013 Seems like the old d pad is better...
Ku Zi Mu 1194 Report post Posted February 15, 2013 Speaker? Does that imply headsets are a thing of the past? Maybe it's a fuck-da-kinect feature.
DuPz0r 5361 Report post Posted February 15, 2013 I agree QD, that dpad looks like shit. The whole prototype seems like some cheap knockoff controller made in china.
Qdeathstar 1763 Report post Posted February 15, 2013 I think the speaker is a "blow" sensor as seen on the ds. Gta's mini sex games are gonna be so realistic, cant wait!
JamieMilne 489 Report post Posted February 15, 2013 another picture of the new controller
Ku Zi Mu 1194 Report post Posted February 15, 2013 Looks better from that angle but something needs to be done about the D-pad.
JamieMilne 489 Report post Posted February 15, 2013 really? why i think the d-pad looks great. i think its a complete improvement over the current dual shock
Ginginho 1613 Report post Posted February 15, 2013 I will probably get this just as they are announcing PS5, just like every other fucking console I buy. I gotta stop being a cheap cunt
DuPz0r 5361 Report post Posted February 15, 2013 really? why i think the d-pad looks great. i think its a complete improvement over the current dual shock You've got to be kidding? Those analog sticks look like hub caps. I liked the old soft leathery rounded ones.... And that d-pad's blocky, i like the rounded trim of the old ones. Massacre 7646 Report post Posted February 15, 2013 The separated points on the PS3 controller's D-pad is much better, I think, and like Dup, I don't like the analog sticks. Also, I personally don't like the Move or touch pad additions. Neither seem necessary to me - the function, or their presence on the controller.
Qdeathstar 1763 Report post Posted February 15, 2013 I will probably get this just as they are announcing PS5, just like every other fucking console I buy.I gotta stop being a cheap cunt Probably should wait till the first price cut... So they can take care of the next rrod. I wont, but thats probably the most logical thing to do.
JamieMilne 489 Report post Posted February 15, 2013 i like the new d-pad, i don't like the dual shock sticks, but it looks more bulky and not as shiny as the current one, which i like too
DuPz0r 5361 Report post Posted February 15, 2013 Mines not shiny.... To be honest though, the ps3 prototype they had was this: (looks like it was melted in the microwave) and then they decided to stick with the iconic PS controller for the release.
JamieMilne 489 Report post Posted February 15, 2013 my black one shines when the light hits it. the new one looks like a nice matte finish
JamieMilne 489 Report post Posted February 16, 2013 http://uk.ign.com/articles/2013/02/16/report-playstation-4-will-stream-games i don't want online streaming games. i like to actually psychically have the game in my hand. it takes me forever to download a demo on the ps3, no chance of streaming a full game/
Massacre 7646 Report post Posted February 16, 2013 They would never make streaming your only option. A huge chunk of the market doesn't have broadband internet, they'd lose a ton of money.
BlackSox9 448 Report post Posted February 16, 2013 Wait until they release the PS4 information on the 20th. Then we will see exactly what Sony has in mind for the PS3's successor, including what the 'real' controller looks like. I can't wait to see what they've got. Qdeathstar 1763 Report post Posted February 16, 2013 They would never make streaming your only option. A huge chunk of the market doesn't have broadband internet, they'd lose a ton of money. How much of the market? Most people have broadband on their cellphone nowadays....
Massacre 7646 Report post Posted February 16, 2013 I am well aware of that. But, to my knowledge, Sprint is the only company that doesn't have a data cap, and streaming or downloading games will obviously burn through data like mad. Most rural areas still don't have broadband, and you're lucky if you can get a 4G signal out there.
JamieMilne 489 Report post Posted February 16, 2013 Maybe on ps4 This is asking to get sued naming it this http://uk.ign.com/articles/2013/02/15/sony-patents-tablet-controller-called-eyepad
