beatnicpie 825 Report post Posted April 23, 2014 When I was trying to be a stand up comic, I was working on Richard Nixon/JFK impressions so I could do their voices for a "Who's on First?" bit. Someday... Someday...
Mercy 30 Report post Posted April 24, 2014 I've been to see a fair few comedians live. Seen live: Michael McIntyre Jimmy Carr Julian Clary Jon Richardson Andy Parsons That is in the order of how good they were. My favourites are: Michael McIntyre - he is fantastic at observational comedy Jimmy Carr Lee Evans Alan Carr Sarah Milligan One of my favourite jokes though is by Noel Fielding, the whisper joke and Michael McIntyre bit on scissors.
Panzerbear171 13 Report post Posted April 28, 2014 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Pe9zw9iQK8 Bill Hicks, George Carlin, and cynical comedians of the like are probably my favorites. I like all kinds of comedy though. Redd Foxx, his Sanford & Son co-star Lawanda Page (she played Aunt Esther, and she's hilarious), Richard Pryor, Rodney Dangerfield, Gilbert Gottfried, and Steven Wright are all high on my list.
