I think he was against the drug dealing cause there's not a lot of money in it and it's not worth the risk involved. I don't think he's morally against the drug trade. Just cause you don't want to deal drugs doesn't mean you don't like to use them. Majority of people I know who smoke that shit, aren't dealers. Also, he could just be against it cause he doesn't want to be stuck in that life forever. By the sounds of it, he'll do illegal things but only if it leads to him having a good life later. If he were to distance himself from the drug trade for monetary reasons, I can't see why he'd be so passionate about Lamar's use/distribution. Seems like he'd adopt a more apathetic attitude. Perhaps someone close to him fell victim to drugs, hence his emotional reaction. He's clearly open to other forms of criminality like theft and robbery, so maybe "morality" was the wrong word to use. I doubt Franklin's pure at all. He only gave up Gangbangin' because he knew it was a futile cause. I'm pretty sure he will be more than willing to do anything to make some more cash. This is definitely proven, by his decision to take up with two Honky's and start pulling heists all over the city. Could actually be an effort to limit the traffic. If I remember correctly, trailer #2 caused intermittent outages on the official site for some of us due to the volume of people trying to hit it when the countdown reached zero. The disgust in his voice could be because his friend is stupid enough to think dealing drugs is enough. It's obvious he's a bit more ambitious than his friend. I'd say it'd be the typical "I'm done with the gangsta, thug life. I want something better and less dangerous" type of thing. You could be right though. This is just my opinion.
